Daniel Lissing Puns

I am not a Heartie..but I do understand the passion that so many people feel for Daniel Lissing. I have heard him interviewed many times and he wants to come back as Ghost Jack or do a modern day movie with Erin. He just wanted to try more things..and he met his wife. Turning 40 is a big deal.

But, it feels like Hallmark is not open to him coming back. Isn't the point of Hope Valley to grow and pursue dreams?

Now Jesse Metcalfe. He is doing a movie with Jessica Lowndes next month..for GAC. That doesn't mean he will never do a Hallmark movie...but I feel as though their new hunky guy is Ryan McPartlin (who I also adore).

His departure from Chesapeake Shores was bizarre. He has been in the business long enough to not sign a bad contract..but he is not going to walk away unless something is wrong. What do you think is wrong?

I like Hallmark a lot but am disappointed when they seem to blacklist actors. (Hilarie Burton....)

Did anybody else watch it?

It was pretty good but for some reason GAC Family filmed it in SD instead of HD which made it look like something from the '60s.

It was sad to see Grace and Chuck leave the series but I'm happy the other two are still on. I was really hoping the annoying Tess Stewart would not be back but I guess every show needs a villain just like When Calls the Heart and Henry Gowan.

It's funny how the nurse gave the child a Band-Aid when that wasn't even invented until 1920!

Having Lori Loughlin back was a bit weird considering she's no longer welcome on When Calls the Heart. I wonder if she'll be a regular on this show.

Also having Daniel Lissing show up in a dream was original. Though it would have made more sense if he showed up in When Calls the Heart to Elizabeth.

All in all, it was a very heartwarming movie. I'm glad they are back since I didn't think there would be a season 2!!

I saw somewhere that Daniel Lissing was joining Lori Loughlin on When Hope Calls and I’m wondering how that can even happen? They crossed over the shows multiple times, the shows clearly take place within the same universe. LL comes back as Abigail is, while I feel wrong… understandable. But are they going to bring Jack back or worse pass him off as someone totally different as people just pretend they don’t notice? I knew this would happen with Daniel Lissing first left when the show was doing good. He hasn’t been in much since and now he wants to good job back…. But now it’s just a joke.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

They’re on standbi

I am wondering if I am the only one that thinks Hallmark Mysteries is making a lot of very bad decisions over the last couple of years. First they end Murder She Baked and Garage Sale series which were two of the best they have ever done. They bring in Crossword, Chronicles, Matchmaker, Morning Show and Picture Pierfect series which are absolutely horrible and some of the worst acting to ever be on Hallmark it is so embarrassing. They have let go some of the best actors and actresses Lori Laughlin and Daniel Lissing. Why they brought Holly Robinson on for a mystery series baffles me she cannot act. I feel like they are slowly cheapening the best parts of Hallmark. I have noticed the clothes, make-up and hair has started to look real cheap and tacky. The wigs they are using on some actresses look so bad, hair from a dolls head would look better, stiff, super shiny and synthetic looking. Is Hallmark in financial trouble is this why they are making such bad decisions. They got rid of Aurora Teagarden’s love interest from the first few series installments whom she actually had chemistry with and brought in a new love interest for her to actually marry and they have a absolutely no chemistry. Is there no quality control at Hallmark anymore? Hallmark used to resonate with high standards, incredible acting and amazing stories. A few years ago they started all the mystery series and they were amazing then a couple years back they bEgan making big changes and all for the worse. Everything is starting to look real cheap and budget oriented. Whomever is making decisions and managing quality needs to be terminated. They also started an incredible series called When Hope Calls, great cast, good acting and really good story lines, then they just stop after 1 season. I feel like whomever is in charge is trying to ruin everything good they have done in the last 10 years and ruin Hallmark to make it synonymous with cheap instead of quality. I have canceled my annual subscription to Hallmark as it is not even worth a dollar a month for what they are putting out. Also they moved Jesse Metcalf from Chesapeake Shores, again he was the best part of the show with his love interest, now the show is ruined and not worth watching. I definitely will not be watching the upcoming seaso. The only actor they released that was a good decision was Foxx who also can’t act from the Morning Show, now they need to let Holly Robinson go.
