I'd just like to take a moment and appreciate where I was 14 years ago, what I was doing, who I was with, and what I was listening to 14 years ago. Not gonna lie, (I'm very forgetful!), but this album still holds up well today even after all this time for me. I don't know if it gets a lot of love, but one of my favorite songs from DBM is Surprise! I'm From Cuba, Everyone Has One Brain. It's just a great track to start out what leads into the closure of the album. What's your favorite track from this album I wonder?

I was a hater until I actually listened two the first two records with Johnny Craig. Holy shot they are so inventive and man his voice is incredible. Wish they kept up the magic of those albums as I really don’t like any of their later stuff especially the Tilian stuff. But man. PHC classics those first albums. The intertwining vocal melodies tho.

I’m mostly a huge fan of Fugazi but listening to big black and dance Gavin dance makes me want to broaden my horizons to more post hardcore. I like a lot of Emo as well like rites of spring, MCR, cap n jazz.
