Is Pale Crawler a descendant of dinosaurs? Paleologue theory Dale Russell.

In 1982, Dale A. Russell, then curator of vertebrate fossils at the National Museum of Canada in Ottawa, conjectured a possible evolutionary path for Stenonychosaurus, if it had not perished in the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event 65 million years ago, suggesting that it could have evolved into intelligent beings similar in body plan to humans. Over geologic time, Russell noted that there had been a steady increase in the encephalization quotient or EQ (the relative brain weight when compared to other species with the same body weight) among the dinosaurs. Russell had discovered the first Troodontid skull, and noted that, while its EQ was low compared to humans, it was six times higher than that of other dinosaurs. Russell suggested that if the trend in Stenonychosaurus evolution had continued to the present, its brain case could by now measure 1,100Β cm3, comparable to that of a human.[8]

Troodontids had semi-manipulative fingers, able to grasp and hold objects to a certain degree, and binocular vision.[8] Russell proposed that his "Dinosauroid", like members of the troodontid family, would have had large eyes and three fingers on each hand, one of which would have been partially opposed. Russell also speculated that the "Dinosauroid" would have had a toothless beak. As with most modern reptiles (and birds), he conceived of its genitalia as internal. Russell speculated that it would have required a navel, as a placenta aids the development of a large brain case. However, it would not have possessed mammary glands, and would have fed its young, as some birds do, on regurgitated food. He speculated that its language would have sounded somewhat like bird song.[8][15]

However, Russell's thought experiment has been met with criticism from other paleontologists since the 1980s, many

Game Preview Wildcard Week Philadelphia Eagles (9-8) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (13-5)
Philadelphia Eagles (9-8) at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(11-6)
The Eagles defied the odds and clinched a playoff spot in week 17 when they completed their sweep of the Washington β€œWho cares what they are called”. The Eagles took care of business down the stretch knocking off a number of lowly teams to get to 9 wins and be able to rest key starters in week 18. They set up a meeting with their old friend Tom Brady and his Buccaneers down in Tampa for Wildcard Weekend. The Bucs easily took care of the Panthers in week 18 to secure the number two seed. While the game will be down in the Sunshine State, the weather looks to be anything, but sunny. The weather forecast is calling for rain and wind gusts between 20-30 mph which could favor the Eagles and their top ranked rush offense. But running against the Bucs big DL will be no easy task. Vita Vea has a huge size advantage over Kelce who he will most likely be lining up over in a 0 technique and while Ndamukong Suh is not the All-Pro he once was he is still a big body that can clog up the run game. If the Bucs sell out to stop the run it could be on Hurts to try to win it with his arm which could be difficult, especially with the weather. The Bucs have two guys they can match up on Goedert in Antoine Winfield Jr. and Lavonte David and they will get some pass rush help back with the return of JPP. Hurts will need to rely on his young WRs more to get open and quick. On the other side, Brady beat the Eagles with quick short throws earlier this season in a game where he was without Gronk, but while Gronk is back Brady has lost one of his favorite WRs Chris Godwin to an ACL tear and lost Antonio Brown to being crazy and probably running on the side of the road shirtless somewhere. With limited weapons the Eagles need to shutdown Evans with Slay and bracket Gronk. Playing tight with the predicted weather should help the Eagles slow down the Bucs passing attack, but they will still need to worry about the run game and Leonard Fournette who had two TDs against them in week 6. Should be an interesting matchup in the rain and the Eagles will make it really interesting if they can win the battle in the trenches. Go Birds!

Fun speculation on cards we want in the game

Seeing legends and all these cards get taken out of the game has been a big ass bummer.

So I wanna have fun cause why the fuck not, suggest any you want below.

Mets: Bartolo the goat, I want an ohtani style card where the dude just rakes for no fucking reason. On a serious note, Mike piazza would be fucking sick

Phillies: I think chase Utley could be fun, have him as that 2nd base who rakes, maybe Jimmy Rollins and finally have a short stop prime.

Nationals: pedro Martinez or tim raines.... be fun.

Braves: you recently lost Dale Murphy, who should be in the hall of fame. I mean hank Aaron is a no Brainer

Marlins: jose Fernandez deserves a card

Brewers: Trevor hoffman. Easy.

Cubs: we already got Fergie, but I don't know who else

Cardinals: stan the man

Pirates: forsure 2014 Russell Martin returning to the game would absolutely be sick, he deserves a prime for that year btw.

Reds: joe Morgan

Dodgers: you guys don't deserve a legend but Jackie Robinson does, ans Ireland herischizer deserves a vintage

Giants: outside of bonds, I think having the freak back would be interesting and Jeff Kent

Rockies: Larry walker is easily deserving

Diamondbacks: randy Johnson, curt schilling

Padres: I'm drawing a blank

Athletics: God damn Ricky henderson, miguel tejada, Barry Zito

Trashtros: Craig biggio

Angels: troy percival

Mariners: the kid and ichiro, but felix to

Rangers: since they recently brought back napoli, I think having chin soo choo would be cool, I would say prince fielder but too many first basemen.

Whitesox: frank Thomas

Twins: Santana

Royals: highkey think Alex Gordon should be brought back, same with volquez.

Guardians: I'm drawing a blank

Tigers: victor Martinez, torii hunter, ty cobb.

Yankees: fuck yall, you know who baby ruth

Redsox: pedro martinez.

Rays: yeah I'm stumped

Baltimore: gotta be Tillman, Mark trumbo, and cal ripken.

The blue jays: rip doc Halladay and the owner of the Texas Rangers jose Bautista.

Any others?

My personal 2022 NFL mock draft, two rounds, v2.0

Took everyone's feedback into consideration.

ROUND 1

  1. Detroit: Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan; Detroit picks a homegrown talent with the proven production to continue its years-long rebuild. Hutchinson has the size, power and speed to succeed at the NFL level.
  2. Jacksonville: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama; Jacksonville needs to keep Trevor Lawrence upright, and Neal is a 6'7, 360lb specimen who can do just that. With Cam Robinson scheduled to leave in FA, Neal is a mightyΒ tantalizing prospect with the potential upside of a massive upgrade long-term.
  3. Houston: Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon; There's one thing Houston has prioritized early and often, it's the front seven. Eight of Houston's eighteen first round picks have been along the defensive trenches, with names like JJ Watt, Whitney Mercilus and Amobi Okoye. Thibodeaux is a generational prospect who can become a franchise player in Houston.
  4. New York J: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU; A lights-out cornerback prospect who can hang with the very best of them. Head coach Robert Saleh must be giddy at the chance to draft a talent with the potential to become the next Darrelle Revis.
  5. New York G: Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State; The Giants now have the league's worst offensive line after LAC has largely fixed its own issues by drafting Rashawn Slater and signing Corey Linsley. Ekwonu is a rock solid prospect who can help keep Daniel Jones upright.
  6. New York G: George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue; The Giants also need a pass-rushing force opposite rookie Azeez Ojulari, and Karlaftis is the third of the big 4 pass rushers in the top 10 who can terrorize opposing quarterbacks.
  7. New York J: David Ojabo, EDGE Michigan; Ojabo is a high-upside prospect who can help the other New York team complete a defensive line that's been excellent at penetrating opposing inside offensive lines, but not so much along the edges.
  8. Carolina: Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss; I'm not sure QB is the right move for Carolina here personally, but it's definitely something an impatient Matt Rhule would do. In 2 years he's gotten rid of Cam Newton, got his replacement, got rid of said replacement, got another replacement, benched that replacement and brought back Newton. Corral is a prospect with a proven arm in CFB's toughest conference.
  9. Atlanta: Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame; Atlanta is one to go BPA here, as it did with Pitts in 2021. Hamilton is a safety with rare length and ball skills, and he could be a terrorizing force

Meet the 2022 Class - WRs

Meet the 2022 Class - WRs

You can find my post about the 2022 QB class here

and you can find my post on the 2022 RB class here

and you can find my post on the 2022 TE class here

As the season comes to a close and the in-game film stops rolling, it’s really time to see what this draft class has to offer and what you should be looking for to strengthen your roster.

I want to start this by laying to rest what many people here have been told:

THIS IS NOT A BAD DRAFT CLASS

Many people are coming around and I have definitely seen the pendulum swing toward the right direction. This is a DEEP class, loaded mostly at WR. But there are still some top end players I like at QB and RB as well as some second rounders I will be happy to take a chance on. Do not let anyone tell you that just because the top end talent isn’t as high as previous years that means 2022 picks are trash.

The way I have set this up is through a tier list. As I’m sure you all know, tier based drafting is the only way to draft in any circumstance. My tiers assume best possible landing spot at the NFL Draft and are divided by where I would be comfortable taking them in a super flex rookie draft;

  • S tier - Top half of the first round
  • A tier - First round
  • B tier - Second round
  • C tier - Third round
  • D tier- Fourth/someone to monitor after the draft

Oh boy this is the hotly debated part of the draft and I am ready for it! I honestly love this crop of WRs. From first round to fourth round there is value and there are play. makers. I've got some chalk here and there but I've definitely got some heat lined up in my rankings and tiers too. So sit back and grab some popcorn or sit up and get the debating fingers going because this should be fun.

  • S tier - Treylon Burks, Arkansas; Garret Wilson, Ohio State; Jahan Dotson, Penn State; Drake London, USC; David Bell, Purdue;

  • A tier - Jameson Williams, Alabama; Chris Olave, Ohio State; George Pickens, Georgia

  • B tier - Jalen Tolbert, Southern Alabama; Romeo Doubs, Nevada; Wan'Dale Robinson, Kentucky; John Metchie, Alabama

  • C tier - Justyn Ross, Clemson; Zay Flo

Top 25 TV Shows of 2021

NB: 100% opinionated and personalized list. Choices limited to my personal viewing history, and shows were chosen based on originality, creativity and uniqueness (as those are 3 main factors I look for in TV shows).

Top 25 TV Shows of 2021:

Reservation Dogs follows a group of 4 Indigenous teenagers living in rural Oklahoma, as they try to make and save money by almost any means necessary, to get away from their boring and despondent lives. It's easy-going, thoughtful, and quite realistic besides the occasional moments of surrealism. The dialogue feels very authentic, and it, along with its charming and slightly quirky characters, provides a lot of witty humor. It's also fun and youthful, especially for a series that aims to capture the mundane of living in a small town such as the one it portrays. But as if like a foreshadowing of what's to be revealed later on, you can sense the dark cloud hanging over the characters' heads from the very 1st episode.

Ironically with its old-school art style and visuals, the most attractive thing about Invincible are the bloody, gory and gruesome action sequences. But it has much to give in plot as well; intriguing mysteries, interesting conflicts, thoughtful commentaries on humanity etc., making it one of the better offerings from the comic-book catalog we've seen in a while.

There seems to be a recent uptick in documentaries lately, but most of them don't come with the creative execution seen here in Supervillain: The Making of Tekashi 6ix9ine. Narrated by Giancarlo Esposito, and retracing the rise to fame of one Daniel Hernandez a.k.a Tekashi 6ix9ine, it may surprised you how much of a multifaceted story is told here. From corny fashions, to gangs, to domestic abuse etc., this isn't just a documentary about the controversial rapper, but also one about the attention craved social-media age we live in, where people are constantly exploiting it for fame and money.

Threesome is a relationship drama that sho

This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.

If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.

Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.

My four-round NFL mock draft, v2.2

After reading everyone's comments, I'm not certain anything major had to be changed, so I went ahead and added another round. Updated standings after yesterday's KC win.

ROUND 1

  9. Atlanta: Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame; Atlanta is one to go BPA h
