Like a lot of you, I trust Harris. He's not perfect, but he's smart, he has integrity, he's a straight shooter. I really, really don't think he's lying or bullshitting for exposure. Not in a million years. So initially his recent, sober sounding but amazing claims gave me chills and even scared me a little, like omg. This could actually be happening...
And maybe it is. IDFK!! But it's also possible that Sam is naive on this subject and is misjudging the credibility of his 'highly credentialed source.' For all we know it's fuckin Bob Lazar! What would be more likely / less shocking? : That Sam misjudged a mysterious source or that life as we know it is unalterably changing and the greatest soul rocking news in the history of mankind is coming out next week?
It reminds me of Hume's attitude toward Miracles:

All Sam's really saying, ultimately, is that someone with credentials of some kind told him UAPs are aliens.
