This may have been my favorite episode of the show and I didn’t realize that Cynthia directed it. She did a great job?

I keep seeing people criticize and questions Miranda’s storyline in regards to her sexual orientation on whether or not it’s believable. People discover their sexual orientation later in life all. The. Time. Seriously, just look at Cynthia Nixon.
Cynthia Nixon was married to a man for twenty-something years, considered herself straight, and has now been in a relationship with a woman since 2004. The writers are just using Nixon’s life as a template for Miranda.
Do I think the storyline is rushed? Yes. Do I think Che and Miranda do not work? Yes. Do I think Miranda coming out late in life is believable? Yes.
Am I biased because as a queer woman I’ll see Cynthia Nixon be gay in almost anything? Probably.
Side note: I completely buy that she’s an alcoholic. She obviously feels something is missing in her life and alcoholism can very easily sneak into someone’s life as a coping mechanism.
Basically just this. She looks so gracious, elegant and beautiful in a natural way in AJLT!

I’ve just watched ‘Luck Be An Old Lady’ and I hate that Miranda is disrespected by those men who say she has a “fat ass”. I think Miranda looked her best during Season 5. She was pregnant in real life but she was glowing during that time and she looked in great shape I thought. I hate how toxic the writing is that she feels fat when she’s nowhere near it. She looks great!
Anyone know why Cynthia chose to wear a wig when playing Miranda this time? I read it on insta somewhere but now I’m struggling to find the page. I’ve looked at some of the promo pics for the new series. Some shots it looks like her own hair and others it’s clearly a wig. Although both look amazing.
