A list of puns related to "Curtis Hughes"
Update: The exact diagnosis was Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome. It is a rare complication of PID. The insertion of the IUD pushed bacteria into my upper tract which caused inflammation which then spread and caused scar tissues adhesions between my liver and perineum. It is usually caused by STIs but in my case it was not. So many people have discredited my account, saying I am demonizing IUDs. Iβm not. I think they are an amazing form of contraception, but people need to be aware of the risks.
Hi all (long read, but important) Long time IUD user and lover-Skyla for 6 years. Just switched to a copper IUD (Silverline) about 5 weeks ago and unfortunately it was the worst mistake of my life. A week after insertion I had pain that felt like appendicitis and excessive bleeding. I went back to my OBGYN out of panic and they checked the placement and said all was fine.
My symptoms: inability to breathe, talk, cough, walk, sleep, move my abdomen without severe pain. Most days I was unable to stand up or sit down alone. Extreme pain in upper right shoulder that felt like I dislocated it.
I was first diagnosed with gastritis (did an upper endoscopy) and took medicine and followed a special diet. Two weeks later I was in the emergency room.
When getting the copper IUD I totally expected, accepted, and prepared for longer, heavier periods and cramping. It didnβt bother me at all. I didnβt expect to develop this extreme pain.
After going to multiple doctors, doing every test imaginable and even being admitted to the ER overnight due to debilitating pain, a specialist viewed my CT scan results and told me that I had developed PID (pelvic inflammation disorder) from my IUD that spread to my liver and caused hepatic capsulitis.
I am now going to have surgery next Tuesday to cut adhesions that have formed between my liver and the surrounding capsule/wall which formed as a result of my IUD.
I had an STI checkup done before insertion and had no changes in my life that would have created a change in test results.
My IUD has been removed and medicine applied/prescribed. I am praying for this pain to end.
I am only posting as in my worst dreams I could not have imagined this happening. I love IUDs, I still recommend them, but I also recommend that everyone is aware that this is a possibility (usually from STIs) that can be caused by the IUD.
TLDR: copper IUD caused hepatic capsulitis

For those of you seeing this for the first time, I began a project last summer where in a made-up universe, each U.S. state (commonwealth for the people in KY, MA, PA, and VA) had their own state soccer team. I have done Part I revised a few weeks ago, and now I am on to part four!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't Forget β 2008
Γlbum clΓ‘ssico de estreia da cantora. Ouvindo o Γ‘lbum, me lembrei que Γ Γ©poca eu ouvia meio direto βLa La Landβ.
Nota: 9
Favorita: βLa La Landβ
Malquista: βOn The Lineβ

Thank you to u/epicnoober1233 for the idea. Consider this like a βpart twoβ to my post from yesterday. Again, Iβm just speculating so consider this all loosely, and these events are mutually exclusive, not one timeline.
Andrew Jackson- At least one of Richard Lawrenceβs guns doesnβt jam and Jackson is gunned down on Capitol Hill in 1835. Not only would this be the first time in US history a president was murdered, but itβd also be the first time a sitting president has died. The constitutional crisis of who succeeds a dead president hits the country 6 years earlier. Now hereβs the thing: the practice of the Vice President becoming president is mostly due to the fact that John Tyler, more or less, made a power grab and demanded to be considered the president, not acting president, and he succeeded. Iβm not necessarily sure VP Van Buren wouldβve done the same thing, though, meaning the way the line of succession works could be completely and unrecognizably different. Either way, I think Van Buren takes over the job, with either the title βpresidentβ or βVice Presidentβ. He serves out the rest of Jacksonβs second term and is succeeded by William Henry Harrison. Van Burenβs legacy would be much more positive to those who know anything about him, as he isnβt saddled with the panic of 1837.
Abraham Lincoln- I wasnβt going to include presidents that were assassinated (and I wonβt for the other 3) but Abraham Lincolnβs first assassination attempt -On August 20th, 1864- has one fundamental difference from the successful one: Hannibal Hamlin was the VP at the time. So if Lincoln were infact murdered during his first assassination attempt, Hamlin would take over, and in all likeliness wouldβve been given the Republican nomination in Lincolnβs place. Iβm gonna assume President Hamlin signs off on Shermanβs March as well, and that coupled with sympathy votes from Lincolnβs death could secure him victory in the 1864 election over McLellan. With Hamlin overseeing the end of the civil war and the ratifying of the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments βin Lincolnβs memoryβ, I could see him winning in 1868 if he chooses to run. If he does then the south would be in much better shape post-war and freed slaves would be better off with no sabotage from Johnson. Hamlinβs legacy would be that of possibly a top 10 president, but Lincoln would not. Heβd be remembered as a Kennedy type, remembered mostly as a βwhat he couldβve beenβ.

... keep reading on reddit β‘By David Gonzalez Nov. 25, 1992 The Guardian Angels' founder and leader, Curtis Sliwa, has admitted that six of his group's early crime-fighting exploits were actually faked and former and present associates contend that even more of the group's activities were publicity stunts.
Rather than riding the subways to protect the public, the associates said, Mr. Sliwa and his wife, Lisa, run a group that has become little more than a security force for a block of midtown restaurants, its membership and activities exaggerated, its patrols, in trademark red berets, converging only on highly publicized situations.
Mr. Sliwa said in an article in The New York Post yesterday that he manufactured six stunts, including a report of the rescue of a mugging victim substantiated by a group member displaying bruises he had actually received falling down in the subway. In another, Mr. Sliwa said he was injured fighting several rapists at a Brooklyn subway station. 'We Believed the Lie'
Mr. Sliwa said he was coming forward now because he felt "unworthy" of the outpouring of support after he was shot in an as-yet-unsolved attack earlier this year. He maintained that attack was genuine.
But a number of former and current members of the patrol group, including two of its co-founders, said Mr. Sliwa had yet to admit all. They spoke of their disillusionment and told of additional incidents.
Tony Mao, a co-founder of the group, said he drenched himself in gasoline some dozen years ago and claimed it had happened when he pounced on two men who were planning to attack a token-booth clerk. The incident, he said, was planned by Mr. Sliwa, who enlisted two other Angels to pose as the thwarted bad guys to capitalize on a similar real-life attack. His account was confirmed by Arnaldo Salinas, a co-founder who now serves as the group's coordinator.
"We believed the lie," said Mr. Mao, who left the group in late 1980 and now works as a guard in a city hospital. "We told the stories so much we convinced ourselves."
Another former close associate of Mr. Sliwa's, William Diaz, said he was told to delay handing over a member wanted for questioning in the sexual assault of a child earlier this year. Mr. Diaz said he stalled for about a week because Mr. Sliwa needed to find a replacement for the member, who ran the group's West 46th Street headquarters. Anger and outrage, Mr. Diaz said, led him to bring the suspect to the police, where he was arrested and has since pleaded guilty.

I grew up in Northern California but not quite this Northern. We did not have snow. So unfortunately I was never able to ski the K-12. I actually donβt know how to ski. I have been to the snow several times though.
Lane Myer (John Cusack) really loves his girlfriend Beth. It might be a little more of an obsession than just the norm for a βreally longβ 6-month relationship. Beth, on the other hand, is considerably more interested in Roy Stalin, the Captain of the ski team. Lane really has a not-winning streak going on until he meets the cute-as-a-button French Foreign Exchange Student across the street.
This is not a standard βBrat Packβ film. Not written by John Hughes, and not nearly as angsty and drama-enriched as a lot of standard 80βs teen flicks. It is firmly in the realm of black comedy. Itβs is a really funny one, too! Zedd mentioned to keep in mind though, Lane does try to harm himself in quite a few different ways. Funny in this context, sure. But something to note.
Apparently John Cusack was not terribly fond of the film, feeling like the writer/director Savage Steve Holland put him in a crappy movie. I wonβt say itβs crappy, but it is kind of loose, a little all over the place. It includes some little vignettes of claymation and cartoons which kind of break you out of the film, but I like it!
The cast is stellar! I mean really, Curtis Armstrong (Booger in Revenge of the Nerds) graces us with his attempts to find βgood drugsβ in their small town. Laneβs Mom & Dad are played by David Ogden Stiers (Major Charles Emerson Winchester, III, M.D. on M.A.S.H.) and Kim Darby (Mattie Ross in the original True Grit). His Dad is just permanently angry and his Mom makes a lot of blue food (that may have achieved sentience). His brother is a silent genius. The paper boy just wants his $2.00.
The soundtrack is some good 80βs stuff, man. Rupert Hine knew what he was doing! It also has a couple of songs from one of my fave Valley Girls (aka Tommy Pickles) Elizabeth Daily. Zedd mentioned no less than 6 times how in love with her he was in high school. Anyway, there is just more good music than you can shake a stick at!
I firmly believe that Lane Myers created snowboarding on that fateful run down th

... keep reading on reddit β‘this is kind of a different post to what I usually do, but I just wanna know who would cast who for which character.
I'll go first:
Henry Stickmin: CG5/Charlie Green V
-he was the one who made the first Henry Stickmin song and, to me, he sounds a lot like him in certain ways.
Ellie Rose: Zendaya
-Her voice just fits Ellie in my opinion. A calm but stern and badass voice, just like Ellie >:3
Charles Calvin: Macaulay Culkin
-what's more to say? He has this raspy voice that I think just fits Charles.
General Hubert Galeforce: I have no idea
-I'll add one in when I get an idea
Reginald Copperbottom: Tom Hiddleston
-Sure, I hate Reginald, but damnit Tom could pull him off. He is known for playing manipulative/villain characters, after all.
RHM: Chris Hemsworth
-RHM is a chad. Chris Hemsworth is a chad. I think it works
Sven Svennson: Pewdiepie/Felix Kjellberg
-Sven is legit a reference to Pewdiepie. It would be criminal if I didn't add him in.
Burt Curtis: Robert Downey Jr.
-they sound very similar and I love that so much. RDJ just has this "I don't give a shit unless if I want to" type attitude in his voice. I feel like he would do a fantastic job playing Burt.
Rupert Price: Hugh Jackman
-Again, to me, it fits him.
Dave Panpa: Tom Holland
-Tom just has this "I'm a loser and I'm proud" type of vibe when it comes to his voice. I like to headcanon that Dave is aware that he's a loser and he is ok with that.
Carol Cross: Scarlett Johansson
-Carol is known for being a rough and tumble badass, so it would make sense to have Black Widow voice her.
Earrings: Emma Stone
-her voice is pretty elegant and I think it would fit her tbh.
Toby Mack: Tobey Maguire
-yeah, you knew this would happen

that's my cast. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
