I have a 3d printing business that is expanding rapidly. I currently am working out of a 1000 sq ft apartment and it "works". It's hardly optimal but I don't I suffer greatly from not having the things a business lease offers. I'm looking to expand soon and have three options in front of me. I can get a business lease and move into a proper factory space, I can rent another place that's larger than the one I have, or I can buy a large house and run my business out of it.
I'm split between the three choices. I love how much money I save having my personal and business rent consolidated into one payment. I'm also apprehensive about a business lease as I've heard horror stories about people renting warehouses and then finding out they need to replace an air conditioner or hire someone to fix an asbestos issue. But at the same time I would like to think having a warehouse would streamline things and things would run in an optimal way as far as efficiency is concerned. I like the idea of buying a house as I would be using the money I'd pay my rent with to instead pay off a mortgage. Also there are little things like having everything under one roof would give me the flexibility to do things like start the printers at night. At the same time things like zoning could be problematic but from what I've seen it's not too much of an issue where I live.
What are some other things I should consider in my decision of where to park my business?
Found one at goodwill this morning, swapped out the old belts and it’s engaging the stop function every 7 of 8 rotations. When I try and play a cassette the tape just spools up and stops. I will put a link to the video of it in the comments
My friends and I have signed a lease for a 3x2 in Printing House for next year. Does anyone live in one that wouldn’t mind sending pictures of what it actually looks like?

Does anyone recommend any other off campus apartment complexes for 2 people other than Printing House?
