A list of puns related to "Critrolestats"
As DM I wanted some stats to find out what skills are most called for at a 5e table. Without taking the time to audit my own games, I decided to use the amazing treasure trove of data compiled on CritRoleStats to see trends. I posted my skills findings at r/dnd (original post here) but I kept heading down the rabbit hole over the past few days; I thought I might share some more data with this sub. [sorry if I applied the wrong flair--wasn't sure if this was fluff or a discussion or other?]
Enjoy!

And for fun because of the Might Nein:
Tab 1 is Skill Checks, Tab 2 is generic ability checks, and Tab 3 is saving throws. Iβve got Campaigns 1 and
... keep reading on reddit β‘I didn't see this posted anywhere yet, but CritRole Stats just released the breakdown of what the Mighty Nein have left post-ambush in C2E133:

It's... Travis was right. Not getting a long rest is not gonna do them any favors, especially if they can't stop Lucien from reaching the Astral Sea.
This is unacceptable, if you look at CritRoleStats page on the cats in Widogast's Nine-Sided Tower, they fail to mention that Liesel is in fact a bitch (confirmed by the one and only Ashley "Gag me with a spoon" Johnson). We as a community can not allow this to go unrecognized.
Sometimes the group takes off and RPs back and forth for ages, without any interjection or prompting from Matt.
Anyone know what's the longest period of screen time that Matt been silent for?

For other dnd shows, or in your own personal game, have you ever taken on the job of tracking records? Natural 20s, damage dealt, and all that fun stuff. Have you heard of another group or person that does? Iβm curious.
I've gotten a bit behind lately due to work, and while bing watching the last couple episodes and corresponding Talks, I found myself asking a question. As a person not very involved in Twitter, I figured this would be the place to ask it. Does CritRoleStats (or anyone) know the number/percentage of questions asked on Talks that end in the phrase "or something else entirely?" It feels like a significant amount, but I'm curious if my feelings are factually based or just overworked delirium leading me astray. Regardless, cheers to all you critters from a long time lurker. Guess we're all getting Amazon prime in a year.
how many episodes between levels. Just curious on what the graph of episodes to level gain would like. Ie... 2 episodes for level 1. 3 for level 2 so on and so on.
I'm always looking for more feywild creatures, so I made a 5e version of the feymire crocodile in Critical Role.
Iβm not 100% sure whether or not CritRole Stats is an official Critical Website but on Chetneys stat block it says that he is a Blood Hunter
So is it official and if so what episode was it said in??
Tin foil hat theory.
FCG is a true Aeormaton from Aeor. Woken by Devexian. Sent to find brumestone to create Aeor 2.0 and their mind has either been programmed to forget or wiped to cover tracks. Dancer is just a story implanted in FCGβs brain and he is actually very very old. Not just a few years as he thinks he is.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Obviously I pay attention with any of the real important fights, but for reaaal long fights where nothing special seems to be happening (like last episode) I usually end up zoning out. I don't skip the fights but I let it run in the background and don't focus on it so I end up 'missing' most of it. If anything really big happens, the reaction from the group will usually be loud enough to alert me. Anyone else do this or am I missing out by not paying attention?
Am I missing something here, or has Robbie been ignoring the central part of his subclass this entire time? His main weapon is a Scimitar, and he's got Two Weapon Fighting, so he's gotta be College of Swords, right? His character has been Level 3 or higher since halfway through EXU, so "He's new, he doesn't know how the game works yet" doesn't fly as much when he's had this ability for at least 13 sessions.
Has he used a Flourish and I just missed it? He gets into melee range plenty of times, so its not like he hasn't had opportunity, and it would have been plenty handy. How great would it have been if Robbie used Mobile Flourish on the wall and push it out of grapple range of his allies? He even had a turn where he wanted to hit it, but was 35 feet from the wall, so he held his action instead to wait for it to get into range. Blade Flourish increases his speed by 10 feet whenever he uses the Attack action, so it was in his range, but it seemed like he didn't realize that.
Does he have some custom subclass from Matt that also gets a Scimitar and I'm just frustrated for no reason? Surely he would have read the primary thing he gets from his subclass by now, right?
If he's used it and I just missed it, I'd love for somebody to point it out to me, because College of Swords is one of my favorite Bard subclasses and I find it really frustrating that Robbie doesn't use the main feature.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
Feel free to check for yourself,
But Sam's shirt gag continues into Campaign 3.
So far 4 episodes in, and we are 3 for 4, same shirts for each episode in all 3 campaigns.
That's some commitment.
Edit: the Halloween episode of C3 was different, as he was dressed as Mariasha. Can't wait to see him dressed as her for C4E2.
Bravo good sir, keep up the good bit.
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
A really good article from Crit Role Stats about where each character is at after the level up.
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
And now Iβm cannelloni
Because she wanted to see the task manager.
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
But thatβs comparing apples to oranges
And boy are my arms legs.
Heard they've been doing some shady business.
but then I remembered it was ground this morning.
Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments
BamBOO!
Theyβre on standbi
