A list of puns related to "Craig Charles"
Every time I switch it on right now he's on, even at the weekend. If I'm honest I'm not really a fan, where am I supposed to go now?
Has anyone watched Craig Charles: UFO Conspiracy documentary on the history channel? Is it worth a watching?
Hopefully some good Red Dwarf anecdotes to come
"The non-ambiguous and simple interactivity based on UTXO is a beauty that leads to many important developments and applications, from the simple SPV to more sophisticated capabilities such as interactive Jigs, Sensible Contracts, and even the esoteric fractal database architecture (as described by nChain Chief scientist Craig Wright during Coingeek Conference 2021 in ZΓΌrich)"
"Just as Ethereum was created due to its founderβs misunderstanding or lack of understanding of Bitcoinβs smart contract capability, Solana was created due to its foundersβ misunderstanding or lack of understanding of Bitcoinβs scalability. "

" Bitcoinβs protocol achieves the goal without hard-mandating βtruthβ in time sequence. What ultimately matters is immutability and prevention of double-spend, and in this respect, Bitcoin blockchain has established an unchallenged record of continuous and unbroken success that is far superior to any other blockchain "
"parallelization based on UTXO which tracks everything at specific asset levels which in turn are fundamentally independent from each other. Parallel processing based on UTXO donβt clash with each other even if two processes are referring to the same address, because the assets (satoshis) that are being tracked with UTXO donβt clash with other assets. "
" At 50,000 TPS, compared to the 5β7 and 15 TPS of BTC and Ethereum, it may seem unnecessary to look beyond. But BSV points to unlimited applications from nano payments to blockchain computation, potentially requiring TPS in millions and even billions. "
" unbounded scalabilityβ is not a mere aspiration, but solidly established on the uncompromising and unrestricted parallelization thanks to the UTXO model. "

*"The reason UTXOs parallelize better is because when you look at a transaction on a UTXO-based blockchain like Bitcoin, you can deterministically and often immediately know from it exactly how the state of the system will change, and which states will change. ... It makes validating and analyzing transactions parallelizable by design. The system still has to protect against double-spends globally, but this part is light in comparison and can be very fast. "

At a soul and funk night with Craig Charles as DJ, we glued the letter H to our heads and saluted Lister, he saluted right back and let me kiss his handβ¦.one ticked off the bucket list
I think an excellent choice.
Other schedule changes include RadMac trimmed back an hour to 8-10am... win some lose some I guess.

Was idly pondering TM a while back and CC just drifted across my mind. The combination would be great. Any other leftfield suggestions?
This isn't a slight on Craig Charles at all. He's phenomenal in RD and pretty much the crux of the show, plus seems like a great bloke from all the other stuff he's done (taxi rides aside), but he's so very British there's no way he could translate to an American audience.
I do wonder how he responded to this. I know in the superb documentary about the USA pilot he's quite dismissive and jokes about the American Lister being a big hunk, but I imagine it must have stung deep down.
If anyone hasn't seen it, the doc about the American pilot says how they wanted Barrie to play Rimmer as they couldn't find an American actor with a low enough opinion of himself to portray Rimmer, plus they wanted Cat for his physical skills (former dancer) but he couldn't make it. Barrie considered it but his agent scared him off because of the apparently hyper strict contract stipulations. And obviously they already had Robert playing Kryten. If you haven't seen it, definitely do - it's a fascinating insight into the pilot system in the USA, with plenty of horror stories from Rob Grant.
