A list of puns related to "Corky Of Gasoline Alley"
I just noticed there's a sign at the new Esso in Gasoline Alley for their restroom...apparently a nominee for Canada's Best Restroom.
If anyone has 'experienced' such luxury, please leave your review before Drive Mornings checks it out this week.

The 90s ABC series of a developmentally challenged teen is prime for a reboot, not this watered down sequel.
My idea for a reboot would be to preserve the inspirational struggles of developmentally challenged folks and the beauty in celebrating their challenges to fit into society. But the reboot would be molded to fit some of the issues of our time.
The first season centers on Corky becoming a cop.
The series opens with Corky graduating high school. His friends and family are all so proud of him and everyone asks what he wants to do now? Work at the grocery store? Gas station? Pretty offensive suggestions, because Corky has higher aspirations. Corky says he wants to contribute to society, to BE the force of change. He wants to inspire others. So he applies to the Chicago police academy. They turn him down quickly and Corky is devastated because he knows it's because he has Down Syndrome. However, his friends and family go to Reddit to campaign against this discrimination, and soon the country (and Reddit) is celebrating Corky and chiding the Chicago PD for discriminating against someone with Down Syndrome. Soon, the police academy buckles and Corky is accepted into the police academy.
But Corky is quickly the target of hazing by his classmates. Pushed into lockers, knocked down during physical trials, and of course - called the R Word. Corky just wants to do the right thing but he can't if they don't accept him as one of their own! So, he copies their attitudes and behaviors, gets more aggressive in class. He stands up for himself more and more and dishes out more brutal beat downs to his classmates. He talks about how it will be his job as a cop to punish the scum of society. Even though Corky has betrayed his sweet nature, he realizes he fits in more and more with his future police colleagues. We see Corky graduate and being embraced by the future of Chicago's finest.
Time jump 2 years.
Corky slams a drug dealer's head against a brick wall, digs into his pocket, and takes his cash. Corky has turned into a corrupt cop. The next few episodes is basically The Shield with Corky navigating the streets of Chicago in the most brutal ways possible. He beats suspects, fram
... keep reading on reddit β‘This year will be my 20th or so 500, and it will be the first that Iβll share with my wife and her parents. My dad and I have had seats in turn 3 for most of this time, and now weβll be in section 46 of the Paddock Penthouse.
My Father-in-Law is eager to see the cars up close. Does anyone know about what time the cars start rolling from Gasoline Alley to the grid? I want to try and get close so he can see. Iβve spent most mornings tailgating in the North 40 before the race, so Iβm flying a little blind.
Thanks in advance.
I was thinking we should have an Indianapolis 500-centric thread for trivia, videos, nostalgia, photos, etc.
Also if you're like me and listen to the Talk of Gasoline Alley every night, you can bring up points that Donald Davidson didn't talk about, or even things he got wrong! (and he did get something wrong the other day!)
