First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hey y'all; In my never-ending journey of trying to choose artists, I've come across quite a few artists that I like. I decided to put them in a list by location, and figured I'd share it in case anyone is trying to find new artists in their area or just look at cool art. A few disclaimers, I live in the Northeast US, so it is somewhat concentrated in that region. Obviously this is only a small handful of artists of those out there, and there's no way I could get them all. I also am not claiming these these are the only good artists in these places, just the ones I've come across and like personally. Lastly, I split the US up into four sections, but this isn't /r/mapporncirclejerk so try to refrain from critiquing what the Midwest is. Hi /r/roosterteeth - I'm the person riding the Tour de France for charity that Gus mentioned at the beginning of the RT podcast this week! I wanted to post to say thank you, give a little more backstory, and share the link to donate for those who want and can afford to donate - Extra Life is such a fantastic event every year and the RT community gives so much to help that great cause, so I figured some of you might be interested in learning more about this ride that I'm so lucky to be part of.
Gus had the high points right (although it was actually my girlfriend who sent in an email without me knowing, so it was a total surprise to me):
- The Tour 21 Challenge: 25 amateur cyclists riding the entirety of the 2022 Tour de France (route here, fun cinematic overview here), a week ahead of the pros (2,068 miles/3,328km, roughly 150K ft/50K m of elevation gain, all over 21 days of riding with just three rest days). Of the 18 riders named so far, I'm the only American - the rest are all out of the UK.
- Goal of raising Β£1M ($1.4M)for Cure Leukaemia, the UK's blood cancer charity, which will go towards accelerating clinical trials of new therapies by funding 12 treatment centers across the UK. Corporate sponsors help pay for the costs of the event so that everything raised can go towards doing good for patients.
- I have a personal goal of raising at least $40,000, and currently have raised $18,917, as of 18:10 PST on 12/23.
- We start on June 24th in Copenhagen, riding three days in Denmark, then head to France for the rest (except starting Stage 6 in Belgium, and ending Stage 8 and riding most of Stage 9 in Switzerland).
- Since I was selected in early October, I've ridden 1500 miles in training, and will probably continue to do at least 100 miles per week for the next few months (along with strength training), ramping to at least 250 or 300 per week immediately before we leave.
- This is the only event like it in the world, and only the second time it's been done; the first year was 2021, and you can watch a documentary about that ride (aired by NBC Sports during their Tour de France coverage) here.

Queen Margrethe II (b. 1940)
Margrethe is the Queen of Denmark, the supreme authority of the Church of Denmark, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Danish Defense. She takes no part in party politics and does not express any political opinions. She has the right to vote however chooses not to exercise that privilege.
She became heir presumptive to her father in 1953 when a constitutional amendment allowed women to inherit the throne. When it became clear that Queen Ingrid would have no more children (they had 3 girls), her father capitalized on his popularity to begin the constitutional change in 1947. She became Queen when her father, King Frederick IX, died in 1972. She is the first female monarch of Denmark since Margrethe I (1375-1412).

- Her nickname is βDaisyβ
- She is an accomplished artist, painter, and seamstress.
- Created the illustrations, under pseudonym Inahild Grathmer, for the Danish editions of The Lord of the Rings.
- Loves costume design and designs costumes for the Royal Danish Ballet as well as Danish movies.
- Often designs her own clothes and is known for her colorful and at times eccentric clothing choices.
- She is publicly known as a chain smoker, however has chosen not to smoke in public since 2006.
- She is a gifted linguist, fluent in Danish, Swedish, French, German, and English.

Throughout the month of January there is going to be a showroom in a shop called "Anyone Worldwide" (which sells playing cards) and I would like to know if someone can go and buy some for me (I will pay of course). I live in France and I can't go so if anyone can come to this shop and buy me some decks of cards it would be great. I don't know which decks are released early so you will need to keep me posted also every day there will be a new showroom so let me know if you can go. For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
