Open Diplomacy - Meeting Between the Members of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve
Started in June 2014 in response to the rise of ISIS, CJTF - OIR is that combined task force responsible for coordinating coalition efforts to destroy the Islamic State's presence in Iraq, Syria, and, for a few months in 2016, Libya. While the threat posed by IS declined following the collapse of their territorial control in Iraq (2017) and Syria (2019), IS is once again becoming active in the Middle East, using the chaos of the Saudi Arabian Civil War to infiltrate fighters across the border to hold territory near the Jordan-Iraq-Saudi Arabia tri-point and harry GCC and NACL forces in their attempts to defeat the ongoing Islamist rebellion within the country.
Since CJTF - OIR never ended, the United Arab Emirates is requesting that the other members of the CJTF--namely, the United States, France, Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, and Jordan--use their assets still deployed in the area to help defeat Islamic State assets in northern Saudi Arabia and Anbar Province within Iraq. Such an intervention is critical to maintain the security of Saudi Arabia and the global oil supply.

CJTF-21 started in 2005 during the days of Operation Flashpoint, the precursor to Armed Assault series. In real-year 2005, the founding members of this unit started in the days of 1988, during the fall of the Soviet Union and the tail-end of the dreaded Cold War.
The unit started as a small Marine recon unit and attached corpsmen. As the years passed, the small Recon unit eventually merged with the creation 21st Marine Expeditionary Unit, which engaged into the war on terror during the fall of the twin-towers at the World Trade Center. Throughout the next 10 years, at around 2014, the unit was formed into a Combined Joint Task Force.
A wide range of specialised training available with experienced veteran leadership. Missions and trainings tailor made weekly to suit continually shifting mission deployment across conflict zones in the middle east and across the globe.
In Arma 3 we have come a long way to developing our playstyle and our very custom modest. Roles now including Army, Navy, Marine and Air force operations for conventional play with dedicated vehicle and pilot slots available to those having completed one of our personalised training syllabi. Coming this year a UK armed forces attachment is also now recruiting within the unit.

Made by a Canadian Army Afghanistan veteran, this unit focuses on combined international NATO task forces from Afghanistan to Europe, Africa and Asia.
Operation Times -Trainings/mini ops on Friday 6pm EST, Main ops on Saturday 6pm EST, mini ops throughout the week
Attendance Requirements - At least 2 FTXs and 2 Operations a month w/ exceptions.
Age Requirements - No one under 15 will be admitted into the unit.
If under 17, the member will be in a probationary period.
Command Staff will decide if the member is fitting for the unit.

This will help mission designers edit their previous missions to add/change countries and their coalitions. These new Combined Task Force countries makes it easier to deal with adding whatever unit you want to either coalition without having to modify the database lua file.

Hello, and welcome to the recruiting office of Combined Joint Task-Force Dragon (CJTF-Dragon). We are a Arma 3 Milsim Unit that combines the forces of NATO and ANZUS into a Joint Task-Force where we combine forces to complete the overall mission of the operation. Here is what we offer, and how we shake up the traditional Arma 3 Milsim experience:
No Billeted Roles! What this means is, once assigned to your squad, you can take on any role in that squad! Wanna be a medic one week but a marksman the next? GO FOR IT! We believe forcing people into roles makes the game stale, the only people that remain in a forced role are the SL and up, which gives new players freedom to test out other roles!
Play as multiple countries! Over the course of a campaign you will take the roles of multiple member nations of the NATO/ANZUS joint treaty groups. Play one mission as US Army Airborne, then the next you're German Armor or launching a beach invasion as the Australian Army! This gives players the ability to try out a variety of weapons other than standard SF M4 or MP5 style weapons.
No Multiunit Policy! We firmly believes that forcing people into one unit alone is how the arma community dies out. We Encourage people to branch out and have fun with friends both new and old. The only exception to this rule are officers and senior NCOs (staff roles, for obvious reasons)
Friday Ops! Like said above, we encourage multi unit participation, and as such hold our ops on Fridays in the Eastern Time Zone. This gives people who are apart of units that do operations on Saturdays or Sundays the freedom to still attend other operations with other groups.
Active Command Group! One of the biggest complaints heard about larger or even some smaller groups is that it feels like the officers are never around, not here. Officers interact constantly with everyone, which helps people grow friendships outside the battlefield.

During 2020 and with the wind down of operations across the globe the shift of the task force has refocused on special operations in hot zones across the world. The incorporation of international forces was seen as the United Kingdom attached a force to the CJTF offering up new equipment and expertise to the team.
