I recently got an opportunity to take IT there but im not sure if its good enough, ive a average student and i dont have much hopes for mht cet. My only quarrel with BVP is that its not affiliated, if it was ive heard that it would help me out later get jobs and stuff abroad cuz Pune Uni is universally recognized.
Should i take the seat while i can? or wait for CET and i hope i get good marks there and get a different college?

I'm a Computer Science Diploma holder.
Recently the provisional merit list for direct second year engg. came out and my state level rank is between 1500-1700, caste wise (EWS) it is 300-500.
There are total 68732 candidates all over Maharashtra, and total 7713 EWS.
I had 95% in diploma.
So, could anyone please predict that which college in pune I'll be getting considering my rank?

my_qualifications scored 94.7 percentile in mht cet PCM for engineering, open category,
I was hoping to get 97 98 but I messed up and now I have this. Maybe I can qualify for the govt colleges of engineering that are in Amravati, Nanded, Aurangabad etc etc, maybe i can get via ladies quota ig idk
definitely didnt qualify for COEP, VJTI and all that, gosh not even Walchand
another question, Do you think this year the cut offs will go up or down?
