A list of puns related to "Cold World"
Sadly,It didn't take off.
I just get so sick of modern everyday social life.
Maybe it is just me but I totally trust exchanges to take care of my crypto. Of course I am speaking of popular and trustworthy exchanges. Leaving your crypto on an exchange nobody has ever heard of is of course a dumb idea.
But do you want to tell me that your crypto is not safe on Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Crypto.com or Voyager? It is 2021 and not 2014 and these exchanges can not be compared to Mt Gox.
Also sometimes people get the whole "not your keys, not your crypto" thing too seriously. I have seen people here complainig that they lost a big amount of their ETH to move it to a cold wallet. Well, high gas fees are another topic but you definitely shouldn't move your crypto to a wallet if you have to lose like 1/4 of it to do that. If you just have 0.05 ETH or similar then just leave it on the exchange. Nothing will happen to it.
Not to mention that if you are new in crypto then it is more likely for you to lose your piece of paper with your seed phrase than an exchange like Kraken or Coinbase to get hacked. If you ever accumulate a bigger amount of crypto then you could think about buying a cold wallet!
PS I originally posted this on friday but it got deleted for mentioning ETH in the title because there were already many posts about ETH. But my post was doing very well and most people seemed to agree so I decided to change the title and repost it today!
From what I remember, the British Empire was temporarily the third Cold War superpower, but it had already been falling off, so a few years in, it fell out of the running. I also hear that the original plan was to present imperialism as the third leading ideology, but it never worked out because it was already weak. That being said, do you think a more stable British Empire would have found the success?
Obviously, there are other things to take into account such as how Britain was naturally more leaning towards ideals apart from these, so take those into account as well.
I still cannot believe it
Yeah, I know it sounds a bit fearmongering as a new war is unlikely, but considering how these continents are butting heads with each other due to the insane amount of disinformation out there courtesy of Russian trolls and QAnon, well⦠Should I be nervous?
I have a 2021 LFP (October build) M3 SR+ (253 mile range). I took a trip from Northern NJ to NH and Boston and wanted to detail my experience.
I left Northern NJ with 100% charge, car fully warmed up with an outside temperature of 53 degrees, the high for the day was 63 degrees. Drove 260 miles, stopping at a supercharger in Hartford, CT. Battery charged to 90%, I continued the journey and arrived at another Supercharger in Hookset, NH. During this trip I was consistently running 250-270 wh/mi.
Drove to Boston that night and drove back to NH the next day in a moderate blizzard, stopped off at a supercharger, charged to 100% and stayed the night at a friend's house. The next morning it was 25 degrees outside, preconditioned the car for about 10-15 minutes and then started the return drive, battery was at 84% at this point. On the first leg of the return drive (about 80 minutes) I noticed my wh/mi were close to 400 (370 or so). Ended up having to stop at a supercharger twice, once in Charlton, MA and again in Fairfield, CT. Once I hit the first supercharger the battery seemed to completely warm up and I was back my normal 250-270 wh/mi.
TL;DR: LFP batteries absolutely hate the cold. Preconditioning while the car is plugged in or superchargering seems to be the only fix.
Cold War tanks like the T-54/55 and Centurion tank were being developed not long after the end of the Second World War and seen action up to this day. T-54's first prototype came out at the very end of 1945 while the first Centurion was built in 1946. In several cases, they fought against their WW2 counterparts during the Cold War. But against World War Two-era hardware, how would they fare? Would a T-54 be able to stand up against a Tiger tank in a way their T-34 predecessors couldn't? Being a tank that was developed from experience fighting against what the Germans were fielding at the time and when tank design was becoming optimized towards modern MBTs, would the T-54 be able to deal with what the Germans had by the late stages of WW2?

After getting involved in south African War and 1964 US CIA gets the option to send an agent to Bornean jungle under Japanese occupation. The goal is to ensure safety from ICBM/Japanese excursions/interference in India. During month of operation player will get events about progress of operation without wacky stuff like bees, photosynthetic old people etc. Operation cost would be 15M$ and a single click decision. After it's done this agent refuses to serve anymore and next step comes in 1968. CIA received reports of increased mercenary activity in Costa Rica. Player has the option of ignoring it or taking action against it. Second option ends up in open coup and plead for help from CR government which would allow sending volunteers. First option however lets you see little boons of gratitude from armed guests in national spirits of this small nation. Although in time Costa Rica would grow more and more dependent on its new source of income, going as far as leasing land to them. Here comes the next step. Player is prompted to check the situation through CIA espionage in CA region. There would be a timed button to play as Militaires Sans Frontiers, a one state minor nation not much bigger than ports of LA and SF together. When the agent of CIA goes native with this vagabond ragtag group of armed veterans your first decision is to make the world go round, find new sources of income to expand and who will be paying you. Selling services, weapons and stolen technology. Piracy, kidnappings and drug trafficking. Building administration, roads and taxing citizens using them. Focuses are for branding yourself in some direction. Decisions UI for selling your services, which in turn adds opinion with one group and decreases with others, in flavors of OFN, Einheit/Zvoll, Co-Prosp and people that lose the most on these wars, those whose lives aren't concern of three hegemons. Last option of alignment is going against the world and throwing a monkey wrench into metal gears of big politics, black psy-ops and insanity which means self-determination of countries exploited/to be exploited, these are pro-bono with minimal net gain, but hey, you want to be upstanding in world where even beacons of freedom and liberties commit war crimes against ethnic populace. Main sources of income are advisors, attachΓ© and trade in stolen, manufactured and/or grown goods. Whenever there is war, player would have options akin to Breton market for establishing contact.
However, what can y
