A list of puns related to "Cody Martin"
Codyβs shooting from 3 this year has been insanely good. Heβs currently 3.7% above Glen Riceβs 1996-97 percentage (which is the Hornetsβ best mark for a season).
Martin currently has what would be the third best true shooting percentage for a season in franchise history (62.3%). Heβs only 0.2% behind the current leader. Whoβs that? Miles Bridges (2020-21 season).
Martinβs offensive rating is 129.5, 8.7 points higher than Cody Zellerβs 120.8 in 2016-17. This is more of a βtake it with a grain of saltβ stat, but I think itβs interesting to put Codyβs scoring this year in perspective.
Cody Martin is now an integral part of this lineup and a key piece off the bench, and all the credit goes to the Hornets development team and coaches. This is a huge W
He was fat and above players like Hayward, Ball, hell even Bridges at most points tonight.
Heβs a vital part of this team and responded well to getting jammed on by Carter
Very impressed

This was one of the worst charge calls I can remember. It seemed like Seth started going up for a layup when Martin was about 10 feet away from him and then ended up landing on Martin's feet after his layup attempt. Would love to see a replay.
The charge call strays further and further from the spirit (imo) of the rule every year. standing like a statue near the hoop and hoping to get touched so you can crumble to the ground is not defense and not why the rule exists. #fixthecharge
Cody has been pretty great so far this year, with double digit points each of his 3 games, with decent rebound or assist numbers to go with that. Minutes wise, he was low 20s first two games but obviously went in the 30s last game.
Is this what we can expect from him moving forward, or was that a temporary peak? What upcoming changes can the hornets expect that would affect Cody?
