A list of puns related to "Cocktail Menu"
Cheers guys!
Received a request to create a cocktail accompaniment for a 5 course tasting menu (Michelin starred chef, river cruise fancy pants). And the menu is looking great, however 5 drinks is quite a lot of booze for regular people to take (excluding pre dinner champagne).
Wich leaves me wondering whether I should try to keep some drinks rather low abv or change the serving sizes...
Has anyone experience with those type of events and can update me on the status quo?
Thereβs a cocktail bar near where I live that has only six cocktails on their menu and it left me confused. Is this normal? Should there be more?
EDIT: Thank you for the response! Iβm a more informed human being!
at the supermarket and there was a woman handing out samples of a non alcoholic drink. I got two and I will try one later. It is like a drinking mix that came with gingerale to mix it in it.
This is such a cool time we are moving into where non alcoholic drinks are going to become more and more normal.
I'm a very experienced Bartender but I'm at the mercy of what is I'm supply at this bar. I work at this Italian restaurant/bar once a week and I'm the only one, besides the owner, that knows how to make a proper cocktail. I'm looking for some good places of reference to put together a great, yet simple enough (for others to make), whiskey cocktail menu. Looking for any and all suggestions.
Interesting, but not fucking crazy-ass cocktails. To understand what I'm working with, a typical cocktail at this bar (small town in Pennsylvania) will run you about $8 or more.
I feel uncomfortable ordering cocktails that aren't expressly available directly from a menu or are so basic everyone knows them. How do you order at a bar? Are you up for asking for something off menu or that you could have to explain?
Sorry I had to share this because Iβm so happy. I worked at this place for 4 years worked my way up from barback to head bartender. I learned a lot from working with other bartenders and reading books. We used to do these theme nights and I was in charge of coming up with cocktails. So I made one called the sensei which consists of chili liquor, bitters, butterscotch liquor, lemon juice, mango and plum sake. It was a hit a lot of people loved it. I got a message from my old boss after I left saying they wanted to put it on the new menu. For me I am so excited because I put in a lot of effort into this place and gave it my all so to know I left a mark means a lot to me.
The recipe is. 2oz plum sake 1oz mango 0.5 lemon 1 dash angostura 0.25 chili liqour 0.5 butterscotch
So a little context I work in a small bar in a small town in Brazil. Here people aren't used to cocktails like a dry martini or whiskey sour.
The one cocktail that everyone knows is caipirinha, here at the bar i only do the basics like caipirinha, daiquiris and Cozumel once in a while.
Here where I live is very warm and we have a lot of tropical fruits, so I'm thinking about building a cocktail menu to increase the variety and bring more clients.
So guys could you help me, giving some tips about whick cocktails to add ?
I'm thinking about Pina colada, Mojito, Whiskey Sour, Negroni and Gin tonic.

This is the official cocktail menu from Bethesda Game Days (took one home). If you are going to be popping back in game this weekend to check out Locked and Loaded I highly recommend. Each of these is so good and I make the Nuclear Margarita often. Enjoy!

My friends and I have a small movie club where we discuss over Zoom, and for our mid-year celebration I was tasked with making a cocktail menu. Not everyone has a full bar cabinet or much experience, so my only limitation would be at least one drink that anyone could make.
However, I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas. Ideally, I'd like for each drink to tie in with a movie we've discussed (Suntory Whiskey Highball for Lost in Translation as an example), but top priority would just be something for everyone.
Very open to ideas, I'm kind of running blind here.
