In Valley Fair's "open house" parking Q&A today, they confirmed that they were going forward with their plans to make employees pay $40 a month or $3 a day to park if their companies don't want to cover the fee. Mall employees also must either park on the roof of the mall, or in their new subterranian parking garage. Changes start Febuary 8th. Mall visitors now must also pay to park, with the first 2 hours being free, but with escalating cost after every hour.
I accidentally trespassed down this path following the river itchen at itchen valley. The gate was wide open and could not be seen as it was off its hinges. The only visible trespassing sign was vague and I mistook it for a no fishing type of sign.
Anyways we ended up walking down this well maintained path with benches and the like. Suddenly 10 minutes down the path some Angler pops out the bush screaming to get off his land. He cited some law about trespassing and a bunch of sections he had memorised, this wasn’t his first rodeo.
Now while this was all going on he was less than 30cm away from my face without a mask spitting in rage and threatening myself and my son.
Normally I’d understand as getting trespassers is sure annoying. But it was hardly noticeable that this was private land. Not to mention it’s pretty much slap bang in the middle of itchen valley country park. On top of that I had an incredibly calm demeaned and kept this despite him threatening my son!
Well, they're moving forward with it again, with an even dumber system than before. Its even worse for employees, they have to either buy a $40 monthly parking pass or $3 a day. With the 2 hour limit, its going to make more stores close their doors.
Given how much snow we had recently, is it safe to take the I80 to park city today in a sedan without awd/4wd?
I haven't ever been but I imagine quite a bit of incline is involved..
The last 2 nights were the same sound but you could tell it was moving around through the vans. Freaky as shit. I'd describe it as a cross between a cat about to fight and some mutant baby bird. Any ideas what it could be?
