A list of puns related to "Clive Burr"
The shirt and drumstick are cool, but the memories of me and my two best friends slithering our way up to the front row before Iron Maiden took the stage and being so close to the band and at one point grabbing Bruce's hightop shoe lace and pulling it and then a young Bruce wagging his finger at me like, "no kid don't be doing that" was beyond amazing!

On May, 14th 1982 Iron Maiden opened or Rainbow at Cobo Arena in Detroit. I was positioned in the front row just left of center with my friends and at the end of Iron Maidenβs set, Clive Burr threw me this drum stick and I caught it. It was put away in our attic for 15+ years and my wife was going through some stuff and found it. It will be proudly displayed from now on.
Just heard he passed away after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. I thought he was a very fluid drummer and I preferred him over Nicko McBrain.

FORMER IRON MAIDEN DRUMMER CLIVE BURR PASSES AWAY
We are deeply saddened to report that Clive Burr passed away last night. He had suffered poor health for many years after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and died peacefully in his sleep at home.
Steve Harris said βThis is terribly sad news. Clive was a very old friend of all of us. He was a wonderful person and an amazing drummer who made a valuable contribution to Maiden in the early days when we were starting out. This is a sad day for everyone in the band and those around him and our thoughts and condolences are with his partner Mimi and family at this time."
Bruce Dickinson adds βI first met Clive when he was leaving Samson and joining Iron Maiden. He was a great guy and a man who really lived his life to the full. Even during the darkest days of his M.S., Clive never lost his sense of humour or irreverence. This is a terribly sad day and all our thoughts are with Mimi and the familyβ
As Maiden fans all know, Clive joined Maiden in 1979 and performed on the first three albums Iron Maiden (1980), Killers (1981) and The Number Of The Beast (1982). Prior to that he was a member of Samson, the band Bruce fronted before he too joined Maiden.
I think his name is Nick.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
