People who have been on weight loss or other before/after reality shows (not including makeover shows that include hairstyle in the storyline) is there an allowance given for a visit to the hair salon unbeknownst to viewers?
Iβve been binging Supersize vs. Superskinny and noticed during the reveals that most contestants noticeably changed their hair. Not just a freshening cut, but different dye jobs, hi-lights, bangs, obvious changes in style. Iβve seen similar changes on other shows such a Supernanny that does not focus on appearance at all. Is there something in these contracts that requires a change in hairstyle? Is there money provided to encourage changes? I understand changes to appearance may be the effect of an enhanced mental state as a result of increased confidence, reduced stress, etc., but the trend in reality show hair changes in before vs. after seems to produced by the show rather than autonomous choice.

These words resonate in my head from time to time, 2 years later. I feel shame about that. Thatβs sometimes, even after 2 years Iβm still broken up about how things ended with my ex narc. He dumped me over text after dating for 15 months, 3 weeks after a cruise vacation.
After the breakup it was indeed hell. He created a twitter to talk shit about me, blocked me on every platform, turned all of my friends against me, drove me to the point of creating a fake Instagram to just get some clarification of what the fuck was going on (which he later found out about and used against me), and now to this day is dating a girl who I considered my best friend.
I think the thing that keeps the trauma ongoing is that heβs dating a girl I wouldβve considered my best friend. I confided in her about the breakup with my ex narcissist and next thing I knew, she told me they were talking. She now talks shit about me on social media platforms for whatever reason.
They also live together after 6 months of dating which rips me apart. They started saying βI love your after 3 weeks. Living together that is something I always wanted with him but then again I feel shame for still idealizing him and her now.

People react to me the way they react to a neurotypical who's acting out. They assume I'm intentionally being an asshole or acting socially awkward on purpose to hint that I don't like them.
What annoys me is when I try my best to be social, people assume I'm commiting social faux pas intentionally to send a message. To send a message that I don't like that person or am making fun of them. Apparently I'm acting the way a neurotypical acts when they hate someone.
They assume I'm being stuck up, or sending the message to "go away."
I'm trying my best. It doesn't look that way on the outside, though.
