As someone who grew up in South County, this lady has been a mainstay of the area. Every summer she would be out walking the streets hauling her luggage around, sometimes even propositioning men for "rides". Well, a few days ago someone created a fan page for her and it is spreading faster than a case of herpes at an old folks home.
Some people say the page is mean-spirited, even though the page itself is only asking for updates on her whereabouts. It is some of the "fans" who openly mock this lady.
I guess my question is, should Facebook remove this page because it is a forum to follow and/or openly mock this South County institution, or are we seeing yet another case of white knight syndrome amongst the hand-wringers?

Republican extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) was fined again last week for refusing to wear a mask on the House floor, marking the 22nd penalty the congresswoman has amassed since last summer. Each violation is now costing her $2,500, taken directly from her congressional pay. The total cost of Greene’s refusal to mask-up has exceeded $50,000, nearly a third of her official salary.

Brandi wants to punch Big John in the balls. I kind of do, too, just to see if they squeak like a dog toy. Bret tells us that these girls need to step up and give him their A-game. So far he likes Jes, Heather and Lacey, but hasn't seen much from girls like Magdalena and Mia. He wonders if they will ever let their guards down and let him see who they truly are. You know that the whole way over she was like, "Tell him happy birthday first and he'll love you, tell him happy birthday first and he'll love you." In her head, of course. Except her lips were probably moving. Bret tells us that later there will be partying, but first there is a challenge. He's looking for a woman who can handle life on the road with him and all the insanity that comes with it. In each "city," all of which are set up in one big parking lot, two girls will compete head to head in a rock tour related challenge. The winner of the challenge will jump back on the bus, while the loser gets left behind. The ultimate winner will get a killer date. Hopefully with a cameo appearance by Jason Voorhees. Bret interviews that for the last 22 years he's spent six to nine months out of the year on a tour bus. Oh yeah

Looking back on my kindle library, I've read 50 books since joining and I desperately need more. I still work from home so I have a lot of free time, and finding all of these recommendations has been great for me.
I'm going on a cruise for a week here soon, and I need several recommendations that I can download while I still have internet before I get on the ship. What better way to get good recommendations than to tell you what stories I've already read? So, here goes nothing. I'll try to keep it short unless I have a lot to say about any of the books. If you happen to disagree with any of my thoughts, I'd love to hear them too! Of course these are just my opinions, so nothing personal if I didn't like a book you did!
SPOILERS AHEAD!
- The Simple Wild trilogy by KA Tucker. 10 out of 10. What a great start this was! These books are actually still my favorite out of every other thing I've read lately. I loved every minute of Jonah and Calla's story. Can't wait for book four.
- All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata**-** 7 out of 10. I liked it, but definitely didn't love it. The pet names drove me nuts, and Aurora was too immature and naïve for someone her age. I really liked the nontraditional family dynamic with Rhodes and Am, though. Great setting, too.
- The Gamble by Kristen Ashley- 1 out of 10. DNF @ 60%. I couldn't stand the main characters, the writing style, the dialogue, basically everything! I won't read another book by Kristen Ashley if I can help it. This book was not it. I'm surprised I was able to read more than half of this book.
- After We Fall by Melanie Harlow- 4 out of 10.
- It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey- 5 out of 10.
- Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey- 2 out of 10. Holy shit I hated this book! Out of the ones I finished, this was my least favorite. Georgie was great. She is why I had to complete this book. Travis, however, is the worst MMC I've ever seen. Seriously. I know possessiveness can be attractive to some people, and I can handle a certain amount, but this guy was so toxic to Georgie. Georgie is constantly talking about how she wants to be treated like an adult and taken seriously, yet Travis is constantly belittling her and treating her like a helpless child. I hated reading his chapters because all he ever thinks about is sex. I get this is a romance book and all, but come on Trav

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

In the RacetotheWH Senate primary tracker, Walker has the support of 49% of primary voters. On first glance, Herschel Walker looks like he could be a strong general election candidate. Walker used to be the running back for the University of Georgia, and he might be the greatest college football player of all time. He's still beloved by many for his sports career in the state, and he'd be one of the few African American candidates for the Republican party. True or not, some Republicans think they can reduce their deficit with black voters with a black candidate. This could be more relevant in Georgia, where Democrats are organizing voters against the recent attacks on voting rights by Republicans.
However, there are few politicians in the nation that have a closet more filled with skeletons then Herschel Walker. Here's a list of just some of them, many of which are based on a devastating but very credible piece the AP wrote on the dangers of a potential Walker candidacy.
- Walker's ex-wife, Cindy Grossman, has said that Walker repeatedly threatened her life in their marriage. At one point, her husband pointed a pistol at her head and said, “I’m going to blow your f’ing brains out."
- After Grossman filed for divorce, Grossman's family says Walker kept calling them, asking about her location. After finding out she was with her boyfriend, her sister said he “stated unequivocally that he was going to shoot my sister Cindy and her boyfriend in the head.” This was far from the only time. One time he said he had a gun, and was planning to act. From the pre-mentioned AP article, "Later that day, Walker confronted his ex-wife outside a mall when she was picking up their son from a party, according to her petition for a protective order. In her account, she said Walker “slowly drove by in his vehicle, pointed his finger at (her) and traced (her) with his finger as he drove.”
