A list of puns related to "Chronicle Features"
I'm an noob developer in both UE4 and Unity, and I wanted to take a crack at trying to create Elyria's mechanics myself. As far as the typical gameplay goes, I know I could make a lot of the "life sim" aspects myself. Like running a shop and such (I wanted to make a life sim for years now), and the other stuff is just basic survival game mechanics. Fight some enemies, chop some trees to collect wood, you know.
Really, the most interesting part was the aging, dying, and giving your skills to an offspring part. I have an idea on how to do this mechanically, but it'd be fun to learn how to make the character visibly age. I might just make different models for the character, and swap them out via code.
Anyway, I'd like to see a list of all the things Soulbound promised for CoE, if one exists.
In Trilogy, each location has a fixed character Phoenix can interact with. To talk to another character, Phoenix have to move. Example of a typical case:
Granted, there are cases Phoenix can interact with another character without moving, but after a scripted event, Phoenix is stuck with the new character.
Chronicles allows interacting multiple characters in the same location. To switch character, select Examine, then examine the person of interest. Depending on their mood, they may or may not interact with Naruhodo. Example in Herlock's house:
XC2 definitely has flaws, so I was thinking down the line they could give it a Definitive Edition like with XC1 to address major flaws/complaints about the game, especially if it's for the Switch's successor. It could be similar to Persona 5 Royal and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, and I can imagine them adding the following content:
Contains both base XC2 and Torna
Re-recorded English voice acting for some cutscenes, with mouth movements re-animated to match the dialogue (similar to FF and KH) if English audio is turned on; the Japanese version would be able to switch between English and Japanese audio
Vanguard Switch, Vanguard Arts and Rear Arts from Torna added to the main game; Mythra's, Brigid's and Aegaeon's Lv. 1-3 specials are now taken from Torna because their old specials are now their Blade Arts (like in Torna), also this means you can directly play as Blades
New Level 5 specials
Ability to unlock and recruit Jin and Malos as Blades on NG+ (locked behind some very difficult unlock condition)
Pneuma is properly named "Pneuma" and dialogue is re-recorded to match
Vandham can be found still alive and permanently added to party in NG+
Unlock Shulk immediately if you have Super Smash Bros. Ultimate save data (or if not on Switch, whatever Smash 6 turns out to be)
Pyra unlockable in Torna NG+ via sidequest (an origin story for how Mythra came up with the Pyra persona)
Roc (Team Lora), Pandoria (Team Addam) and Wulfric (Team Hugo) added as a third Blade for each Torna team
More Challenge Battles, including some for Torna
A new dungeon similar to the Cavern of Remembrance in KH2FM with extremely powerful enemies that leads to a terminal that allows you to fight souped-up data versions of previous bosses (including Amalthus and Aion), along with some XC1 bosses and the Torna Drivers (Lora with Phantom Jin, Addam with Phantom Mythra, Hugo with Phantom Brigid)
I can't do it because it is painful and cant see anything because of blur, but I heard that in 3ds you can use the 3d thing, are they adding a similar thing for pc aswell?

You can now see your own hero's artifacts, constellations, and weapons. If you have it public others can also see the artifacts and weapons of all your heroes and how much you have whaled.

I have been an RPG gamer for a lifetime, and by far more biggest gripe with the genre is how the difficulty curve is managed.
Generally speaking games start out fairly well balanced, but quickly spiral out of control, making the gameplay significantly diminished for people who care about the gameplay.
I feel like expert mode in xenoblade chronicles is the best solution I've seen so far for this, and I hope other games would steal it and put out their own version of it.
Essentially expert mode allows you to delevel your characters at anytime during the game, and store them in a pool (for that character only) so that you can essentially balance the game yourself.
This allowed me to constantly play at the exact difficulty I want, and to titrate it to what I'm doing to make it feel right. Meanwhile it allows you to keep your abilities and gear, thus making a smoother gameplay experience (and you can easily account for this by adjusting your level accordingly)
Why isn't something like this more common? It's so easy to do, and DRAMATICALLY transforms a game.
For example I'm currently playing an rpg that frequently sends me back to weaker areas, where the gameplay is literally 1 shotting everything and taking little to no damage. Making it less of a gaming experience and more of a go fetch quest in the truest sense of the word
Honestly, it's difficult for a single-player guy like me to play this online and have fun.
Sometimes I get even opponents where I have a lot of fun playing with them (At least when they don't disconnect after the first match...)
But mostly, I get opponents who are way ahead of me or way too low for my skill level.
I am currently D4 as Kilik Only.
I wish we could DLCs back like CotS or ToS from SCIII or any SC.
SCVI lacks Single-player content since release, and, well, that's my only wish for SC.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
I would be disappointed if they did that. After all, people can learn mythology from the onscreen adaptations and it wouldn't suffice if the studios omitted incidents from the books. Every scene is mythologically important. The studios must not see some scenes from the books as insignificant. Right?
I have been a long time lurker and figured I talk about the game Iβve been playing. I am currently playing and on the final boss. I canβt beat them yet as I need to grind money and levels
To be clear I really love this game. I think the world is beautiful and not enough JRPGs use giant robots enough. The scale of boss battles is amazing with skells. The fights against the mechs in chapter 9 and 10 are so cool.
At the same time the side quests frustrate me to an extent. I love me some side quests. The problem is I played Xenoblade DE before this where on gathering quests they tell you what you need to gather and in this game Iβm just told the continent it is on. Some side quests would take 10 minutes thanks to RNG and others would take 2 hours trying to get a certain enemy drop or something else.
The story is really great. They game really makes me feel like Iβve landed on a alien planet where everything is trying to kill me. All the races you interact with are great. I donβt love how the game tells me to choose a party but really only Elma and Lin matter. I wish the fourth person I picked got some throw in lines or something. I get elma is really the protagonist so the silent protag doesnβt really bother me.
Really love this game
Hi all,
I really like how these two fantasy series featured protagonists that were exceptionally gifted.
Are there any other fantasy books that focus on a similar protagonist to Ender or Kvothe?
Thanks!
