Do the Poles bake Christmas cookies?
Hello everyone
I have a discussion with a polish friend. She says the people in Poland never baked Christmas cookies and I am not sure that is true. Can someone tell me if there is any tradition around Christmas in Poland?
Thanks and regards

Take-and-bake Christmas dinners
My mother had to cancel her trip to come see me for Christmas because she's come down with some very COVID-like symptoms and doesn't want to possibly expose us and everyone she'd encounter in her travels to whatever illness she has.
I'd like to order her a nice dinner since she won't be celebrating with us. There was a great run-down of restaurants that did some take-and-bake Christmas dinners last year, but I haven't seen the same this year. She's not terribly mobile and her heart is broken from canceling the trip, so I want to get her something more special than Chinese. Does anyone know if there's something close to her (12th and R) offering something nice she can pick up?

Christmas bakes?
What are peopleβs go-to Christmas bakes - particularly those that work well as part of a gift box?
Ideally theyβd be ones that are easy to make big batches of (so not too complex of in assembly or decoration) and that keep well in an air-tight container.
My absolute locked-in go-to are these Italian Snowballs from Catherine Fulvio. Theyβre incredibly easy to make, look festive and taste amazing. Always guaranteed rave reviews when I gift them.
