A list of puns related to "Christabel Pankhurst"

βThe period of womanβs supremacy lasted through many centuries - undisputed, accepted as natural and proper wherever it existed, and was called the matriarchate, or mother-ageβ. Figurehead of the suffragette movement in the US, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, parroting the ideas of Frederich Engels, calling for matriarchy, for women to replace men in power, in an article titled Matriarchate or Mother-Age published in 1891.
"We [women] are, as a sex, infinitely superior to men" Elizabeth Cady Stanton quoted in as Revealed in Her Letters, Diary and Reminiscences, Volume 2, 1922, cited on the Chronicles of Cultural Misandry Source.
Feminism has never been about equality, NEVER. It has always been a sexist ideology, rotten and corrupt to the core, highly deceptive and manipulative, pursuing nothing but money, power and influence, at any cost.
The aforementioned Stanton, one of the early founders of the feminist movement, was an ardent racist, eugenicist and a slave owner. Throughout her life, she fought hard against the emancipation of black people in the US. In the 1860s, she struck an alliance with the openly racist leaders of the Kansas Democratic Party and together with them worked to oppose black enfranchisement in the US.
And if you think that she was alone in these views of hers you would be wrong:
'I will cut off this right arm of mine before I will ever work or demand the ballot for the Negro and not the woman.' Said leader of the suffragette movement in the US and early feminist Susan B Anthony in a meeting with an abolitionist in 1867. She opposed the 15th Amendment.
Anthony would leave her will to a trust devoted to women from which feminist separatist, women only communes have been established in the US, communes where men are not allowed and where women are indoctrinated in feminist separatism, a branch of feminism not much unlike MGTOW that encourages women to separate from men in all areas of life and turn lesbian. One example of these communes is the Susan B Anthony Memorial Unrest Women's Land Trust (the SuBAMUH).
Point of interest: For insights into feminist separatism (the feminist equivalent of MGTOW) I highly recommend the works of Jill Johnston, specifically Lesbian Nation: The Feminist Solution published in 1973 in which

Perhaps such correlations are not entirely without merit as from the very inception of progressive social and political movements special attention has been reserved for the female sex. The aim of this text however is to examine if feminism as a movement really has played a consistent role in furthering the Leftist cause and if it really does warrant unconditional support from those who identify with the left and also care about issues regarding the sexes.
>βthe first class oppression coincides with that of the female sex by the male.β
-Friederich Engels [1]
We can see that unique consideration was provided to women and their specific socio-economic conditions within the Left very early on. However no such exception was reserved for men. Even though throughout human history men have faced the greater material adversity. Male issues if they were considered were conceptualized as general issues but female ones as specific. But Leftist solutions for resolving socio-political differences between the sexes has always been through addressing external factors, rather than seeing the problem as being innate to men themselves.
>βThe emancipation of woman will only be possible when woman can take part in production on a large, social scale, and domestic work no longer claims anything but an insignificant amount of her time.β
-Friederich Engels [2]
>βIn order to build a great socialist society, it is of the utmost importance to arouse the broad masses of women to join in productive activity. Men and women must receive equal pay for equal work in production. Genuine equality between the sexes can only be realized in the process of the socialist transformation of society as a whole.β
-Mao Tse-Tung [3]
Despite the female centered wording this was perhaps the first touch point between leftist thought and menβs issues. Liberation of the sexes was inextricably tied together. Emancipation for one sex also entailed the inevitable emancipation of the other. The integration of women into the working masses is in no way contradictory to the welfare of men but quite the opposite. Historically it has always been men who were confined to the drudgery of the most undignified and harsh forms of labor.

A talk given at Cambridge University on 24th May 2019 by Elizabeth Hobson (Director of Communications, Justice for Men & Boys.)
Transcript Source (links therein)
Hello and welcome to The History of Feminism. I want to make two disclosures before I begin: firstly, that this lecture will concentrate on the Western world β particularly the Anglosphere. I am not suggesting that, thatβs where feminismβs boundaries reside or denying its existence elsewhere but it does start here and here is where my real expertise lies. And secondly: this may come as a surprise to you but I am not a feminist. I am an ex-feminist but after studying the movement, I struggle to see how any reasonable person could know what I now know and be anything other than opposed to it. Iβd like to thank the powers that be at Cambridge University for refusing to bow to pressure from the mob and allowing these talks to go ahead and Iβd like to condemn the emotional reasoning of those who would have stopped them. The purpose of further education is not to make people feel comfortable, itβs to challenge preconceived ideas and to build the capacity to meet challenging concepts head on and to grow from those experiences. Universities should be arenas wherein students build resilience, tolerance and dignity but increasingly activists are subverting these spaces to feed anxiety, black and white thinking and hysteria within their communities which is harmful to the search for truth that they should be engaged in β and harmful to the individuals that they claim to want to protect (including themselves). So, finally, thank you to everyone sitting here now: to those whoβve come in support of our work, those here out of curiosity, and especially to anyone whoβs expecting to be offended, yet intending to engage because that shows some strength of character!
Before I get stuck into the recorded history of feminism, I need to take a moment to illuminate the biological roots of the movement. Human beings are a gynocentric species β this means that we prioritise the needs and wellbeing of women over men. This is an evolved instinct that came about as a result of women being the limiting factor in reproduction β ie. women hav

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
Because she wanted to see the task manager.
Heard they've been doing some shady business.
but then I remembered it was ground this morning.
Edit: Thank you guys for the awards, they're much nicer than the cardboard sleeve I've been using and reassures me that my jokes aren't stale
Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments

My daughter, Chewbecca, not so much.

Nothing, he was gladiator.
Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
I won't be doing that today!

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.

Like Minna Canth in Finland, who was a writer that wrote about women's right to own their own property, helped girls get an education and women the right to vote and helped develop the Finnish school system. I'm a finn, but the only problem is I hate the name Minna, so my child will never be named Minna.
I love a good back story and reason for certain name and I would love to name my possible future children after strong, good people. Scientists, human right advocates etc.
