A list of puns related to "Chris Colfer"
S1-3: some may say he was good because he got the best materials, but in my opinion he gained those materials because he had proved himself to the writers since the very beginning of season 1. Unlike Lea/Rachel, Chrisβs personality is completely different from Kurt. While some of the othersβ acting were still stiff at the time , Chris being in his first tv act, immediately made Kurt an icon by doing spot on facial expressions and presenting his lines hysterically. Most importantly, he was very talented at giving depth to his character in emotional scenes.
My favourites of his acting in S1-3 include:
All in all, Chris is a very intuitive actor, and this is coming from both Darren and Mike.
S4-5: Kurt became a secondary character in these seasons and had mellowed out a lot as a result of his character development in the previous seasons. Still whenever there was an emotional scene he performed perfectly. Especially during his solos. His acting in Being Alive and Bring him home made the song so much more believable. He may not have the most powerful voice among the cast , but he is so extremely good at story-telling even when he is singing. I agree that during Klaineβs scenes, Darren was the one who was better at showing affections, but for the sad scenes, Chrisβs acting was always more genuine and heart breaking. (E.g. The break up scene and Thanksgiving scene) I also believe that it was not Chris unable to act out the affections (he did such a great job in season 2), it was just he decided Kurt was no longer as passionate in Blaine as before because the trust had been broken.
I suggest everyone check out Chrisβs performance in βBeing aliveβ. I think this song embodies the character Kurt and his maturity in S4-6 perfectly.
English is not my first language, hardly my third actually. Hope you guys get what Iβm trying to say.
Maybe itβs all the high school shows I watch but it feels like he peaked in S4 when he was, what, 22? Is that normal or?
Does anyone else find it incredibly rude how people constantly shit on Chris and disguise it as their hatred for Kurt?
I always find that whenever people are discussing their dislike for his voice, it's never 'it's not my thing' or "I personally don't like it,' it's always 'annoying' or 'he sounds like a dying cat,' 'I'd rather endure hearing Sugar butcher a song than listen to him' or 'it hurts my ears.' Those are all things I've seen from people on this sub within the last couple weeks.
>βI guess I didnβt really think I had a good voice because I thinkβon the show [βGleeβ], my characterβs always made fun of for singing and always had to compete with, you know, really powerful female performers. So I guess I just got a little self-conscious, I thought, βOh, well, Iβm not that great of a singer if thereβs always being a joke made out of it.β
This is an actual quote from him. I don't see how anyone could read this and still think, 'well, it's okay to constantly insult this person I don't know despite knowing that this is something that he's insecure about.' You can dislike or even criticize his voice without being rude - I don't know why it's so difficult.
Y'all also hate on his looks 24/7 too - there's no need for that. Some stans (mostly Blam stans) go as far as to say that 'no one with eyes would ever find him attractive.' I don't personally find a certain cast member attractive, but I wouldn't call her ugly (she's not at all ugly) and I wouldn't call other people blind for being attracted to her. People have different subjective tastes in beauty, and if you don't find him attractive - fine, keep it to yourself.
Chris is the only actor that ever gets this much hate, and he's one of the cast members that deserves it least. Hate Kurt if you want to, but Chris is a real person and dislike of a character should not be conflated with the actor. Have some compassion.
ETA: before someone inevitably calls me 'too sensitive' and brings up how we should be focusing on racism instead (because this happens on every single post discussing hatred for Chris), they are two separate issues. If you would like to talk about racism, I would love to have that discussion. It's an important one and needs to be had, but not here.

I love this episode. And after I see Colfer's instagram, this episode got more enjoyable. It is just like lengthened Colfer's SNS 45 min video. He is very talented!! I STAN π
We all know the rumors that Ryn Mrphy hated Chris and Dianna, but does anyone know why, and when did he start to hate them?
i grew up reading his books and am only now beginning to watch glee and learn about him as a person and his sexuality. i think its really awesome how there are lgbtq+ people who i grew up with not knowing about their sexuality or identity, and then to find out about it later, not because they hid it but because its just not too big of a deal. it gives me hope that as a queer trans man, i can be myself while not having it define me completely. sorry if this doesnt make much sense im just really happy

Tomorrow, heβs hosting an IG Live for this writers panel Iβve been attending this weekend. I just noticed his name/photo and freaked! Lol. The IG account he is doing it on is @yallfest, and itβs a panel on storytelling.
It will be at 1pm EST.
:)
Edit: apparently they are just publishing it to IGTV.
i am currently watching season 6 of glee, and damn he is so handsome. Talk about a glow up!

Are they friends in real life? it seems like they were actually hanging out outside of the show and Chris is one of the few cast members she follows on IG. I always heard about them being bestfriends but when I search for it, i found nothing ??
One reviewer of this episode said that Kurt was being βwhiny and selfish,β but like, heβs gone through the most unfair shit on this show of the remaining main cast, and heβs been overshadowed by Rachel and Blaine so much throughout S4-S5, so I feel like he has the most right to complain about being mistreated and overshadowed in the remaining main cast. Frankly, Iβm surprised he didnβt get fed up and start complaining about feeling overshadowed much sooner.
