A list of puns related to "Chris Andersen"
This card is literally Jesus
Normally I enjoy watching Catfish, but this time I was mostly annoyed and confused by the episode about Paris Roxanne and NBA player Chris 'Birdman' Andersen. Both were catfished and blackmailed by a Canadian woman. She was caught and sentenced to 18 months in prison.
You would think that would be the end of the story. But Paris Roxanne wrote Catfish, because she wanted to make sure the Catfisher - fresh out of jail - would not start again. Firstly, I don't understand what's the point of confronting Shelly Chartier who already did the time for her crime. Secondly, if a prison sentence can't stop her, what makes them think that Nev and Max can? And the episode was mostly a rehash of everything that has been in the news before. That's why I was confused why they made this episode.
But who annoyed me were Paris Roxanne, Nev and Max(for the first time ever). Paris openly admits that she had a boyfriend when she went to the house of Chris, she was 17 at the time/he was 33 or 34 and she lied to her mother. Catfish really dropped the ball there. Why was she not confronted that what she did was wrong? Cheating on her boyfriend, but more importantly meeting with a stranger. Explain to teenagers why it was dangerous what she did.
After the episode I Googled Paris Roxanne. It turns out that she is/was dating(2019) a rich man who is 50 year older than her and she seems to be a golddiger spending his money. Why would Catfish make an episode about this? Did she pay them?
Chris Andersen was disqualified from the Legacy Classic at SCG Milwaukee for Unsportsmanlike Conduct - Aggressive Behavior. He apparently got so mad that he almost flipped the table. Anybody have any info on exactly what happened?
So this is a really surprising story which I heard about yesterday when I was shuffling through youtube videos. The reason I posted this here is because there's a major misconception that was brewing during 2012 about the Birdman, that he was a pedophile(which I kind of believed till yesterday), which was partially the reason he got cut from the Nuggets in 2012 and couldn't find a team until the Miami Heat picked him up midseason in 2013. I definitely recommend watching these videos videos(they're kinda the same) but I can give a short summary of what happened to him.
So he started conversing with this 17 year old girl who messaged him after a game and they became close over time through exchanging selfies and talking all the time. What was unknown to either of them was that they weren't even talking to each other at all, a third part was exchanging texts with both of them and pretending to be each other. That third party had created a new Facebook account called "Tom Taylor" which basically did the "real talk" asking about how she thought of Chris, while the Chris Andersen account tried seducing her. This plan all came to course when Tom Taylor convinced the girl to fly all the way to Denver to meet with Chris Andersen and spend a weekend with him. During this stretch, Paris talked about Tom and how he convinced her to fly all the way over here. Chris Andersen had no clue who Tom was. This should have been a major red flag but for the girl but she kept going and a few months later, she told Chris Andersen through Facebook that she's going to see Blake Griffin play in Los Angeles.
"Chris Andersen" got furious and through the Tom Taylor account the catfisher threatened to leak her nudes which she sent to Chris. Tom sent a variety of abusive text messages to the girl calling her a "hoe" and other derogatory terms. She then told her mom about what happened with Chris. The catfisher was one step ahead and Chris got an email from what was said to be the "girl's mom" asking for $3000 or they'll break the story. Chris's attorney sent the money, mostly because he didn't want this story to keep going. 7 months later Birdman got pulled over and his house was searched for anyway holding the girls nudes which would have brought him child pornography charges. He got amnestied by the Nuggets later that summer and the image of him really declined for a good half-year. They ultimately caught the catfisher who served 18 months in Canadian jail.

Would like to thank Bird for all the heart and effort he put into helping this team make it to back to back finals and winning an NBA Championship in 2013.
A great guy to have in the locker room and was awesome on the court.
Forget the big 3.
