Cheesy Romantic Puns

I was normally a shounen or psychological thriller anime watcher for the last 5 years or so,but i've recently gotten really into quality romance anime as well. Toradora, My Little Monster, Kaguya san Love is War!, Your Lie in April, and Kimi no Todoke have all been so great to watch. Also Say I Love You was great though I strongly preferred the Manga. Just wanna hear some peoples personal faves in this genre whether they're super funny or tearjerking. I love manga too so if it hasn't been adapted to anime that is fine with me

Assalamu alaykum, back again with some weird / hopefully funny question to try and ligthen up the mood a little bit lol

But for real though, it's not that long ago that I realized that some guys could be very cheesy and that in comparison I actually wasn't ?

Like in some dramas and movies you see some guys that were obviously written to cater to a female audience in priority ( which in turn can give unrealistic expectations to women but that's another story ). Well it would appear that some guys may actually do fit some of these traits, or at least in terms of cheesy stuff enjoyment haha

I mean for some reason I saw it as something usually more enjoyed by women rather than men so I was genuinely surprised about it, it made me wonder about how many guys actually do have / enjoy this romantic side and don't just go with the flow for the sake of it

Now obviously as a single it may be hard to really know how that side of us will play "in reality", and people also change and all that jazz, but we can still kind of know what kind of stuff sounds lovely to us and what kind of stuff is just off-putting

Like one thing that I find to be a blessing would be the cheesy couple pictures that you can sometimes see on social networks : while they seem to make a lot of single lads and ladies sad and envious, they make me cringe to the core like nothing else, to the point of having shivers, which means complete natural immunity to it lmao

Anything related to scripted pictures with overly cheesy couple poses disgusts me ( same with some wedding photoshoots / maternity ones )

The worst I saw were probably some that were taken at Makkah not far from the Kaaba... Like please, please don't

Also the damage is doubled if they have some cheesy caption to go with it

Natural and spontaneous pictures can make me smile though, especially old couples, these would be very effective because to me they are the actual - living - symbols of true love, not dumb infatuated youngsters lmao

I also don't get the appeal of the very stereotypical dinner with candles and flower petals. I wouldn't spit on that one because I can find it cute but from an outsider perspective, as in "oh look at this married couple having a date" or whatever but as for myself it would feel a bit silly lol let's just buy a tandoori pizza idk, like when it happens in movies my first thought is litteraly "this is going to be such a hassle to clean smh" ( bouquets are fine tho but they can be so expensive, potte

I’m so happy to meet you, I honestly don’t know what to put here. It happened all of sudden, I felt like I knew just what to say then I put my fingers to the keys and in a snap just like that, my mind went blink. Well I think I’ll start with about me:

Work/school: I currently work in a bookstore. I’m in school for radiation therapy, (medical field)

Dreams: open my own bookstore/boutique with a tea and baked goods shop all in one in a small town or medium size town. Marriage in my mid 20s. Three kids start the baby making around 27-29. Own at least 50 acres of land in a mostly warm climate near a lake in the USA.

Hobbies: Reading, Girly-Gaming thrice or twice a week or so. sewing, practicing the Harp. painting and pottery. and yes I cook and bake really well. Fencing, knitting, pottery. Cuddling, kissing.

So I generally don't prefer rom coms but after a hard day at work I don't think I have the capacity to watch thrillers everytime so wanted some good quality rom coms which aren't too cheesy or predictable but still very light to watch after stressful day at work

I know for girls we have all fantasised at least at some point in our lives about being with a man who brings home flowers just because "they were so pretty and they matched your eyes" or surprises us with super meaningful gifts and punches random dicks in the face for being chauvinistic to us on the streets, etc. etc. etc. However, what's the male equivalent? So I'm 16 year old boy and I like this girl. She's a family friend and we've been friends for 7 years now. At first I really didn't think much of her aside from her being pretty. During this quarantine period, our families would often meet and that's when I started developing feelings for her. Never really been a fan of socializing with other people, especially girls, but there's something about her that makes me feel at ease and we've never really spoken a lot before quarantine. Usually it was a simple "hi" or "thank you" at family gatherings. She was the first person to learn about my first break-up even though we weren't that close and she's constantly there for me during my panic attacks. She inspires me to do better and improve myself.

Hi! I didn't know where else to post this and since it is an extremely cheesy romantic mini serie I thought it may be appropriate to post it here - hope it's okay :)
So from what I remember it was several parts. We follow the real estate agent who has to find, I believe, an eco friendly house for a very rich businessman. It is later revealed that the businessman sought her out and has been in love with her since they were kids and it was her who inspired his company. It has a lot to do with their shared love for eco friendly stuff. I seem to remember that the female leads best friend has become quite a known actress - I think she is of color, maybe asian.

If it helps I believe another one of their series was about an actor who falls in love with an assistant stylist. I think it takes place near the beach.

Hope anyone can help because I am going absolutely crazy because I can't find it and I'm slowly starting to believe it was all a big fever dream!
