Among the headlines this week is the news that the Wilfs have requested to interview Eagles' VP of Football Operations, Catherine Raiche. Raiche is a relatively unknown name but is believed to hold the most senior-ranking team personnel position a woman has held in the NFL. Aside from the fact that I personally think it would be pretty cool to hire a female GM, is this woman even qualified? What's her background? How well would she do? Let's find out.
Pre-Football
Raiche, a native Canadian, was born in Montreal in 1989 (she would be the youngest active GM if hired). She reportedly loved sports as a kid and even played in her local flag football league. She completed her law degree and joined the Quebec Bar Association in 2012. She practiced at a private law firm for three years while completing her Master's in taxation at night and interning with the Montreal Alouettes on the weekends.
CFL
Raiche was always very eager to begin working in football, reaching out to Montreal Alouettes' Assistant GM Joey Abrams for work and mentorship. She read the CFL's CBA over and over, highlighting notes and questions. Abrams offered her an unpaid internship in 2015. Abrams eventually worked her way into a full time role with the Alouettes as the Coordinator of Football Administration, taking on contracts, immigration issues, travel planning, and scouting as her primary responsibilities. GM Jim Popp also gave her a lot of work managing the salary cap.
Popp and the Alouettes parted ways after the 2016 season. His replacement, Kavis Reed, took note of Raiche's work with the salary cap and contract negotiations and kept her on as one of two Assistant GMs. She was paired with a 62 year old CFL veteran GM, Joe Mack.
She resigned following Reed's firing less than a year later, citing personal reasons. Reports are that Reed and Mack excluded her from conversations about finding a new HC. She joined her former boss, Popp, in Toronto with the Argonauts as the Director of Fo

This is a roundup of all the leaks and rumors I could find about the new Spider-Man movie. My goal is to spread information and validate leakers and scoopers credibility. I plan to keep adding new information to this thread until the movie comes out and if I forgot to add something, or something is wrong, please tell me in the comments so I can edit it. All the photos and videos that were leaked are all at the end of the thread. I also tried to give credit to everyone and provide links to the information. Before you proceed Iβd like to warn you about spoilers that could reveal surprises and major plot points if any of these leaks end up being true.
Seems like there's a new offseason stash post every day. Thought I'd centralize it here.

In my opinion, Scott Frost will be a big success at Nebraska and escape from Tom Osborneβs shadow. Due to his time playing for the great teams in 1996β97, Frost knows what it takes to win at Nebraska. The Wood River native believes in a physical team, running a unique offense that is difficult to prepare for in one week and a strong walk on program.
The future of Nebraska football under Coach Scott Frost is bright. The Huskers finished strong last yearβββwinning 4 out of their last 6 games. The only two losses were close ones on the road at Ohio State and Iowa. (Those two teams finished with a combined 21β5 record.) I believe Nebraska will be much improved in year two of the Frost era and will be a serious contender for the Big Ten West Title. I can hardly wait until August 31. While I will be doing a Week 18 Waivers post, the vast majority of us play in leagues that end a week before the NFL regular season ends, making it useless. Most fantasy players have already checked out by now, and out of the small group of players who are still invested, most will head out after this weekend.
I just want to take this time to thank everybody for all of the feedback and engagement that I've gotten on my posts this season. A lot of the feedback has directly helped me make improvements to the posts, in terms of both the content and the formatting.
More than anything, I love the engagement I get with this community. Whether it's somebody calling me out on a soon-to-be-garbage take, or ridiculing me for suggesting that a certain player might be available in another league, or even being reminded of a player who I now have to scramble to add to the list... It's the reason I enjoy posting here so much, because this community is never shy to engage.
The Waiver Pickups posts will be back next season, as will my single-player deep dives (such as Elijah Mitchell in Week 1, Kyle Pitts in Week 4, Odell Beckham Jr. in Week 9, etc.), and I will continue to keep dropping random posts here and there throughout eternity. Hopefully some of these posts helped you guys, and hopefully my bad takes didn't hurt you too badly! Good luck to everybody in their Week 17 championship rounds, let's finish out 2021 strong!

Normally, we're not talking about the story but characters.
Hi fellows!
Because I love details and I have a really bad memory, I wanted to do a list of the people considered handsome/beautiful/pretty in the Trails universe. I'm not talking about cuteness (sorry Anelace) or "baby faced" like Lloyd.
So I'm not asking about your opinion but what is canon. Don't hesitate to talk about details because that's what I'm looking for. You can talk about NPC characters of course.
Here is what I remember:
*SKY/LIBERL:
Joshua: considered a "pretty face" by about everyone--- (even more when >!crossdressing!<)
Kloe/Klaudia: "pretty" by Estelle and surely Joshua (when talking about love rivalry...), I think Jill thought she was "pretty but strange" too when they first talked... and by all the Sky gang & Lechter after they saw her >!as a princess!<.
Julia: she has a fanclub that adores her for her beauty and her classy attitude----
Ries: Don't remember well but I think some NPC said that she's beautiful (even if she is a glutton).
Dunno if there is anything about Loewe, Schera or Luciola who seem like "beautiful" characters in this universe. :o
*CROSSBELL:
(As I said, even if Lloyd is really popular, it's not because he is "handsome" but more like "cute/baby brother face/charismatic/kind")
Elie: by a lot of people: NPC, Bell, surely the SSS... Characters compliment her beauty when mentioning her wits.
Wazy: he is a host, he has clients who fawn over him-- even a maid in the Hotel Delphinia fawned over him--- Even though, besides Noel, I don't remember major characters saying he is beautiful.
Cecile: by everyone-
Shanshan: I know she isn't major at all but she is so popular for her looks with the male clientele of her restaurant.
Arios: "handsome" by girls in front of the shopping mall--
About Rixia and Ilya... People compliment their skills and their gracefulness but are their faces considered beautiful? I don't remember either. :o
*COLD STEEL / EREBONIA:
-------- MAIN
Rean: i thought he was like Lloyd but the girls at St-Astraia fawned over him how "handsome" he is so I guess-
Alisa & Emma: comments from NC7 about how beautifuuuul they are. So lucky, Rean.
Machias: ... by Margarita. She chased after him in CSI.
Kurt & his mom: by everyone u_u~ >!special mentio

One of my favorite conversations in all of fiction happens whenever you have a character that is demonstrably being influenced by an outside source (possession, brain damage, mind control, etc). There are, of course, the clear cut cases where someone has no responsibility for their actions. There are also characters who take power ups from the villains but explicitly refuse to the mind control part. Here, Iβm thinking of Majin Vegeta or the Millenium Traitor in Hellsing.
I love it when the situation is so ambiguous that I still hear arguments about how much responsibility the character has. Right away, I can think of Final Fantasy 7, and all of the back and forth Iβve heard about whether Sephiroth or Jenova is in charge. With arguments ranging from βJenova is dead and puppeteered by Sephirothβ to βSephiroth is subconsciously fulfilling Jenovaβs biological directives and mistaking them for his own will.β
I rewatched Spider-Man to the build myself up for NWH, and Iβve found myself really fixated on the mirror scene. Particularly the part where the Goblin answers Norman about what he wants:
βTo say what you wonβt. To do what you canβt.β
This raises all kinds of interesting questions to me about what you can attribute to each of Osbornβs personalities. By the time we get to Thanksgiving dinner and his final unmasking, they start to slur together. So that Normanβs speech to Harry about MJ needing to be βbroomed fastβ sounds a lot like the Goblin, and the Goblin stalling for time so that his glider can skewer Peter sounds convincingly like Norman.
How accountable could you hold somebody who has had their Id unleashed as a monster-man? Alternatively, is it even fair to think of the Goblin as a real entity and not just a coping mechanism for Norman to avoid responsibility for chasing his desires? Iβve always thought it was symbolically relevant that Doc Ockβs last words before sacrificing himself are to admit that he was wrong. Not just about the details of the machine, but his obsession with trying to make it work. In contrast, Peter brings up all the people the Green Goblin has killed and Norman(?) insists that:
βThe Goblin killed them! I had nothing to do with it!β
When we see Norman do nothing but cower whenever we see him talk to himself.
Iβm not posting this as some revisionist argument about how no one should pity Norm

So the Conservative Party have announced a series of Nixon style hardline policies to tackle drug offenders, as part of their 'War on Drugs'. These include taking away the passports or driving licences of drug offenders (wonder if George Osborne or Michael Gove will be hit with that one).
Drug use is rampant across all corners of British Society, including Parliament and Fleet Street, and these 'deterrents' will do nothing to change that. The fact is most people taking drugs have a great time, and as we saw with prohibition almost a century ago, they're not going to be put off enjoying life. For those that tragically fall into addiction, they need support to break their cycle of self destructive behaviour, not further punishment which only enhances the self loathing that is often at the heart of their problem. A reminder that legalisation has been tried and tested in other countries with great success: https://www.theguardian.com/news/2017/dec/05/portugals-radical-drugs-policy-is-working-why-hasnt-the-world-copied-it
Further, we can continue to expect these rules to be applied to BAME and working class kids, whilst the likes of Johnson and Cameron's kid can act with impunity. This is something that deeply entrenches inequalities in our society. Not only that, but by creating such a lucrative black market, it also drives criminal activity with young, vulnerable children now often the victims, meaning their life chances are ruined before they've even got going.
Countries around the world are finally starting to wake up to this, Germany, Canada and even many US states have recently moved to legalise cannabis, But here in Britain, it's time to get your flares out, because we're turning back the clock to 1970s America.
And how have the Labour Party responded to this? Surely they'll be nailing the Tories for this ideological, puritanical nonsense? Oh...
Yvette Cooper, the shadow home secretary, said: βToo often the government makes grand promises, but then fails to deliver or does the opposite. Drug use is up, serious violence is up, antisocial behaviour is up. More and more offenders are getting away with their crimes as overall prosecutions have plummeted. Any action from the government must be substantial enough to undo the damage they have caused.β
There we have it. On an issue that touches every part of our society, Yvette UKIPp

No Way Home, was, in my opinion, a perfect Spider-Man movie. I loved it completely and I don't have a lot to change. Just some minor details here and there. I wanted more Matt Murdock (especially a court scene), and they should have given us a proper Sinister Six instead of a weird Sinister Five. So I went ahead and created an MCU version of Kraven to toss into the mix, and further cement Peter's desperation. I also wanted more epicness to Tobey and Andrew. And I thought Tobey's injury was a cop-out. Also some clarity around the final spell would have helped. So with all that in mind, this is what I, armed with the power of hind-sight, would have done.

After Quentin Beck posthumously frames Peter Parker for his murder in Spider-Man: Far From Home, controversial newscaster J. Jonah Jameson of The Daily Bugle has exposes Peter Parker's identity as Spider-Man to the world, while simultaneously calling for action against him for Mysterioβs murder and the alleged mass casualty event in London. As Peter attempt to get away from the Times Square, numerous civilians nearby begin to mob him and his girlfriend, Michelle Jones-Watson, forcing them to flee from the media and the police. After a high-adrenaline swing sequence, they arrive at the Parker apartment where May Parker and Happy Hogan have just broken up from their βsummer flingβ much to Hoganβs dismay. Hogan and May learn of Peterβs identity expose from the TV as they are suddenly surrounded by media and law enforcement. Before they can come up with an action plan, the Department of Damage Control take them along with Ned Leeds in their custody for interrogation. The DDC and FBI grill Peter, May, Happy, MJ and Ned with varying degrees of failure when suddenly lawyer, Matt Murdock (who has been hired for Peter by Pepper Potts) arrives to represent him. Murdock advises Peter not to say anything and takes the group home. At the Parker apartment, Murdock devises an action plan and Peter commends comments on how Murdock is a great lawyer. When someone suddenly throws a brick at them, Murdock reflexively catches it and assuages a Parker who is surprised by Murdockβs ability that he is simply a great lawyer.
At the Courthouse, Murdock presents a moving opening statement that calls into focus all the great work that Spider-Man has done. He uses the largely public evidence against Mysterio to shift the blame for the calamity in London. And with the help of footage obtained by Stark Industries, he is able

The Ranks are below along with the comparison vs the Experts' Consensus Ranks. Be sure to come back next Tuesday & Wednesday to participate toward the consensus on the weekly voting poll.
The Numbers Next to the players names are a score from the poll, here is a quick explanation on how to interpret those numbers. The score of a player is the estimated chance that they will outscore against a randomly chosen player. For example, a score of 100 means the player is predicted to outscore every time and a score of 0 means the player is predicted to score less every time.

Justin Fields - Chicago Bears

| Every Justin Fields Play Weeks 1+2 |
If you're in a sharp league, odds are that Fields has been owned since your fantasy draft. However, he's still only owned in about 50% of ESPN and Yahoo! leagues, so there's a chance that even in sharp leagues, shallow benches could have made it simply too hard to roster a bench QB. If that's the case in your league, it's time to pounce on Fields. Andy Dalton is likely to miss Week 3 with a bone bruise in his knee, and if he ends up missing the next 2 weeks, I think that the Fields era in Chicago will have officially begun. Sure, HC Matt Nagy released a statement through Bears PR that Dalton is the starter when healthy, but we've seen placeholder QBs remain "injured" for quite a bit longer than their initial recovery prognosis would have suggested. Assuming Fields plays the next two games, he theoretically has a tough matchup on the immediate horizon when the Bears travel to Cleveland, but he has a dream matchup at home against the Lions in Week 4. While he is definitely not coming off of a great Week 2 performance, his struggles are a bit overblown, and I think he could find enough success in one or both of his upcoming matchups to force the HC's hand. In terms of his performance against the Bengals, Fields looked good for a rookie coming in on short notice, although his one major mistake was admittedly horrendous. The interception he threw looked as though he forgot what colors his team was wearing, because there's just no way he didn't see the linebacker standing directly in the path of the throw. Aside from that one glaring blemish, Fields was accurate in his throwing and decisive in his running, and his statline betrays how well he played. I counted 3 drops on perfect passes into the endzone, as well as 2 other times where the receivers failed to hold up their end of the bargain on great deep passes (Mooney had a bad game). Also, his rushing statline is skewed by 3 kneel-downs to end the game, as well as being credited with a rush for negative yards when he recovered his own fumble. When he actually ran the ball, he looked great (6YPC), and he was one toe-skimming-the-sideline away from logging a rushing TD in back-to-back games. Which brings

Yeah... At this point, I think most of us can agree that Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man duology was generally a letdown, and a massive waste of potential. But why? What was it about those films that condemned them to fizzle out after just two movies? And was their failure really that inevitable?
As I see it, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy was a landmark motion picture event that helped redefine the Summer blockbuster for the 21st century, and it played a key role in turning superhero movies into the massive cultural phenomenon that they are today. But at the end of the day, those three movies are ultimately just one filmmaker's interpretation of an iconic character, and it was probably only a matter of time before we eventually got another interpretation.
There were Spider-Man adaptations before 2002, and there will almost certainly be many more in the years to come, so I can't fault Marc Webb and Sony Pictures for taking another shot at adapting Peter Parker's adventures for the big screen. But if I were to pin their failure one just one cause, it would be lack of vision. The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel certainly aren't the worst action movies ever to grace the big screen, but they are generally bland and unimaginative, and they never really do anything distinctive or memorable with the character. Say what you will about the Sam Raimi trilogy and the MCU Spider-Man films, but they at least manage to put their own unique spin on the material, and they generally have pretty well-defined creative identities.
Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy is a colorful and campy series of romantic comedy-dramas about a college-aged young man trying to make it in the big city while tangling with villains who all embody the dark side of his personality. The MCU's Home movies are coming-of-age dramas about a hapless teenage science prodigy trying to figure out adulthood while carving out his own identity in a world where superheroes are a normal part of life. The Amazing movies, though?
If I'm being brutally honest, probably the most unique and distinctive things about those films are that...
That wouldn't be such a bad track record for your average run-of-the-mill action movieβbut for an adaptation of one of the most beloved

Still remains iconic and quite comic accurate in many ways and Raimi's unique direction style as well as Elfman's music make the movie look and sound as epic and heroic as Spider-Man should be.
However, Tobey Maguire doesn't emote too much and keeps mostly a straight, kind of sad face for most of the movie. Not that he is a bad actor, but he definitely isn't Peter Parker. Peter after getting the spider bite becomes more and more comfortable in his own skin and is always optimistic and light-hearted and tries to joke his way through all of the bad things happening to keep himself confident and sane. Tobey's Peter seems to not have this kind of optimism that is a staple of the character. Similarly, he never quips as Spider-Man.
Also, he is way too awkward around MJ and MJ is a very bad stereotype of the girl who always had relationships with the people who were confident enough to ask her, despite clearly having feelings for Peter all along.
Peter in the comics is much more flirty towards MJ and Gwen and MJ is much more independent and confident instead of the damsel in distress she constantly is in this movie. Also, MJ literally kissed Spider-Man while having a relationship with Harry. What the actual fuck?
Apart from her dream about acting and the problems with her parents that we see for a bit, she is a plot device that pushes very wrong stereotypes and messages, aka the exact opposite of comic MJ, and also not a good character in general.
Now onto the villain, Dafoe really nails Norman's insanity and DID, but his goals are circumstantial and don't connect with the plot of the movie at all. He doesn't feel like he has an endgame at all and it makes him a very weak villain that only acts as a plot device as well. It would be really cool if they had added more scenes between him and Harry to add depth to their relationship and set up Harry's turn in Spider-Man 3 better.
Finally, it feels very jarring that half the movie is essentially an adaptation of Amazing Fantasy 25 and the other half is basically a montage of Peter's early years in college with the focus and tone changing completely. It almost feels like 2 different movies, especially with how little focus Osborn got in the first act and how much more he has in the other 2 acts.
It's also jarring to see the cringiness and campiness of the 2000s again and while nostalgic, it makes me like the movie less now.
All in all, I'd give it a 7.5/10
It much im

Go Big Red!.... https://medium.com/@dennispcrawford/chasing-ghosts-will-nebraska-escape-the-shadow-of-tom-osborne-b0e43deb6274?postPublishedType=initial

Hello everyone, with the publication of the long awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser trailer, I thought it would be fun to create a thread establishing all the important and most reliable leaks of what we can expect to see in the film. With that being said, letβs begin:
The movie starts off where FFH ended with Peter getting exposed by Mysterio, and of course, this is confirmed as the trailer shows off shots taking place after him getting doxxed: we see him trying to talk to M.J. but gets surrounded by a crowd of people, we then see a shot of him and her swinging away from Times Square, and then atop the Queensboro Bridge (more on this later), with a helicopter surrounding them at the very beginning of the teaser.
βIn a homage to the 2002 movie, there's a montage where New Yorkers are interviewed for their opinions on Spider-Man in light of the ongoing controversy. (This scene may not make the final cut.)β This comes from Pomojema, one of this subβs mods who relayed this info to us via GlobalDetail2934, a leaker who gave us plenty of legitimate info earlier this year and even some afterwards. However, it is now possible that this scene could have been cut from the movie, only time will tell however though.
Another big piece of information: βThe first scene in the film involves a news broadcast featuring two polarizing figures in the NYC news scene debating Spider-Man's innocence or guilt. The trial scene follows soon after.β This is also very important as we have heard the JJJ V.A in the trailer at the beginning where he outs Spider-Man to be Tom, so perhaps from here we may get this scene happening while we see Peter and Michelle swinging away?
From this point onwards, the opening logos will presumably show up and we may get a jump to what is happening with Peter now currently.
In the teaser, Peter is seen to be being interrogated by the Department of Damage Control as to what truly happened on the London Bridge with Beck, and we know Peter will be fighting for his life to clear his name which is being dragged and slandered through the mud right now.
βMJ and Aunt May have a small subplot connected to Matt Murdock's defense of Peter Parker as they gather evidence to prove Peter's innocence. Matt is the only lawyer defending Peter - there aren't others.β Another piece of information we now know from GD2934 as well.
Matt (The Suoreme Charlie Cox) will be having a courtroom scene where he defends Peterβs innocence and apparently is t

If you play in a league that has a Week 18 Championship, shame on your league commissioner.
To be fair, with the new NFL Playoff seeding, fewer teams than usual will be resting players due to positioning being secured. However, the final week of the regular season is always a bit of a gamble in terms of player usage, especially among teams who are eliminated from playoff contention.
~
That being said, I didnβt quite know how to tackle this post for Week 18, so I decided to keep it simple, and try not to overthink it too much. There will be players who randomly get a ton of playing time, and there will be players who randomly get no playing time. You have to accept that, and just try to follow the trends as if Week 18 were any other week. Obviously there are certain factors that you can take into account, but you need to keep an eye out for any news as the week progresses, and pre-game inactive/warmup reports will be crucial this week.
~
Good luck to everybody who is still playing this week! Hopefully this seasonβs finale, in the midst of a COVID hellscape, will be enough to convince you or your commish to make the switch to a Week 17 Championship.
I already said my goodbyes in last week's waiver post, but the basic gist of it is that these posts will be back for the 2022 season, as will the Every Play videos, and the in-depth player breakdown videos, in addition to the random posts that will drop every now and then.

Other Potential FAs With Recent Write-Ups: | Boston Scott | [Dare Ogunbowale](https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/rqoe4i/
... keep reading on reddit β‘So yeah, this is the second part of my "Black Trilogy" idea for Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Thank you for taking your time and checking this post. Please if you missed, read my previous post about Spider-Man 4 first, this is a direct sequel idea, you might not get too much from only reading this one. Some notes before starting.
Note 1: I read all of the comments you made for my previous post so i did some changes this time around to make my thought process about a scene or a choice more visible. Everything you see in italic like this will be, what should we call them, writers's commentary. You might skip those if you just want to learn the basic story but if you want why i did something, read those as well.
Note 2: I only detailed 1 post credit scene and left the other one for general MCU stuff. Now let's begin!
Spider-Man: Back in Black(2026)
-Movie opens with a swinging scene. A year after Black and White, Peter is now working for Daily Bugle. Daily Bugle got bigger and now they have a building. They have a youtube channel and a website.
It needed to be more modern!
-Peter swings to Daily Bugle, we see J Jonah Jameson, we see Betty Brant from the Home trilogy, she is also working there. Peter and Betty has a relationship. But it's in early stages.
Betty loves Peter but Peter isn't responding back too much. That's their status currently.
-After giving the photos of Spider Man he took, Peter swings to his school where we see Miles. Peter and Miles have become best friends, he is also friends with Gwen but Gwen is not talking too much with Peter, she is much more close with Miles.
-After school, the trio goes to a big celebration event for The Avengers. There are big stunts and some explosions, of course everything is being done carefully. But when something malfunctions, Peter quickly becomes Spider Man and saves the life of New York's Mayor. This causes Spidey to officially be New York's Protector.
This plot point is an important set up for a future plot point!
-Peter is very happy but Daily Bugle loses a lot of subscribers. J Jonah is very scared because he thinks he might lose everything he built.
-The next day, Peter learns that the school will do a Science Fair with MIT in a week. Peter, Miles and Gwen teams up. Peter is scared and happy because he will see Ned and MJ again.
*Michelle and Ned wasn't a part of my Spider-Man 4 theory so i wanted to include them. They won't be shown in the trailers though
... keep reading on reddit β‘Going to try to do this every week, just sharing routes and targets per route run for all the teams. Cutoff will be 2 targets and 15 routes for WRs/TEs and 1 target and 10 routes for RBs (with some exceptions for all 3) so that I don't have to list every single player. The numbers I list will be routes and then target per route run rate. All of the data has not been released yet, so I will update as I get it.
Here is a link to everyone sorted by position and target rate. If you want to play around with it then just make a copy. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1N3ljuiXL21FlvrMHwIraNFNZrZ8CKYIU56rbTU5rjoA/edit?usp=sharing
Edit: thanks for all the rewards, glad I could help a bit. I added targets, target share, and route participation in the google doc on top of what is in the post.
Edit: added the players from the Monday night game.
