A list of puns related to "Charles De Geer"
*LightningMinion appears in Wales to promote the campaign of Sten_De_Geer*
Hello Wales! Whenever I visit this country, I am always impressed by its fabulous countryside. Last summer I actually visited Snowdonia and it was very nice.
But enough about my holiday. Letโs talk about why I think you should vote for the PP UK this election.
If he is elected to be your representative at Westminster, Stan_De_Geer will be a champion of Wales and will work hard to fight the issues facing the people of Wales. For example, he will fight for a realistic and ambitious deal on climate change which will work for the workers and businesses of Wales, will boost economic growth and create new jobs, will protect Walesโs environment and will prevent the disastrous effects of climate change like mass flooding in low-lying areas due to rising sea levels, worsening food security, potentially millions of animal species going extinct or extreme weather events like droughts and hurricanes becoming more extreme and frequent all over the world.
He will also fight for investments into the Welsh farming industry in order to revolutionise the farming industry by utilising the latest innovative technologies like hydroponics or GMO crops. This agricultural revolution will tackle the farming industryโs contributions to climate change and will make Wales a world leader in sustainable and eco-friendly farming. It will also boost the crop yields of farms and help the farmers of Wales prosper.
Unlike other parties, he will also fight for a strong but fair union of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland as we are better together and belong in the UK. Crucially, this strong union is also a union which works for all four nations in the union, which necessitates the people of Wales being allowed to make decisions about how Wales is governed, which is why we back devolution for Wales. It is exactly why we are supporting devolving justice to Wales.
At this by-election, if you are tired of the failures of the main parties, want a candidate who will stand up for the people of Wales and want to combat climate change, help our farmers and support a fair union, vote for the PPUK! Letโs lift up Wales!

Recent posts on this subreddit have covered the new homophobic hipster church/coffeeshop/co-working space soon opening on Geer St. across from Motorco. There's a bunch of signs up downtown now with a link to this petition that 1) says that Durham opposes this sort of homophobic nonsense, and 2) calls on the Durham community to boycott the space. If you agree, sign!

>Throughout his extraordinary life, which spanned two world wars and his 10 years as French president, he had enjoyed robust good health. The end, though, came quickly, and he died suddenly from a burst blood vessel just weeks short of his 80th birthday.
>To mark the 50th anniversary of his death, TG4 is broadcasting a documentary based on the six weeks de Gaulle spent in Ireland in the year before his death.
>De Gaulle in รirinn (De Gaulle in Ireland) covers the time from May 10th to June 19th, 1969, when one of the most famous figures of the 20th century, who in his own mind and those of many of his contemporaries was the very embodiment of France, could be found driving down the backroads of Kerry or Galway in search of solitude.
>In 1969 Ireland was nobodyโs idea of a destination for the rich or famous. An Irish Times editorial expressed it best: โThe presence of General de Gaulle in Sneem, Co Kerry, is almost as bizarre, in its first impact, as would be the announcement that Chairman Mao had arrived in Bangor, Co Down, to enjoy the amenities of Pickie Pool.โ
>It was Irelandโs very inaccessibility at the time that made it attractive to de Gaulle; that and his familyโs long interest in Ireland. His maternal grandmother Marie-Angรฉlique McCartan was descended from the McCartans of Co Down.
>While in Kerry, de Gaulle insisted on visiting Derrynane House, the home of Daniel OโConnell, as his aide-de-camp Franรงois Flohic recalled in the documentary.
>โOn the beach at Derrynane, he asked me: โIs it not true that you can visit the house of OโConnell in Derrynane?โโ Mr Flohic says in the documentary. โGeneral, how do you know the history of Ireland?โ he had asked de Gaulle. โโOh,โ he said with a little laugh, a little chuckle, โmy grandmother wrote a book about OโConnell.โโ
>The Cashel House Hotel in Connemara was only given a weekโs notice that he was coming. They did not have a bed big enough for the 6โ 6โ general and knew that if they went to buy one they would confirm the related rumours circulating in the local community.
