A list of puns related to "Centurylink Field"
Hello - I've sat on hold with CenturyLink for 2 hours and left a voicemail for the Colorado new development field office but no reply.
We live in a new single family/duplex/townhouse development in central Denver and CenturyLink has fiber lines across the street. The CenturyLink sales rep that I was able to talk to said the Comcast Xfinity lines going directly to my house might even be CenturyLink lines that Comcast Xfinity purchased from them.
We as a community (100+ houses) and the metro district would like to explore CenturyLink as an ISP. Technically I'm not sure what this looks like (running fiber from across the street, repurposing the Comcast fiber, etc) but I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone who knew what the sales rep was talking about when he recommended I get in touch with the field office to determine the feasibility of this.
I imagine if we could make the argument to get CenturyLink 100+ new customers it would be worth CenturyLink exploring. Any advice? Is there modmail with CenturyLink employees like in the Comcast subreddit?
Thanks!
Short and basically meaningless post, but I'm gonna miss the old stadium name. I'm a big Seahawks fan from Wales. I've got no idea what brand CenturyLink actually is (or Lumen for that matter). But I really liked the old name, it made it sound like it was some sort of ancient asylum for the criminally insane. I mean that in a positive way, a fitting home for the 12s. Oh well, it's the fans that make the home and I'm sure Lumen field is still gonna crush it. The end. Go Hawks!
I'm assuming yes, after the rebranding by CenturyLink today changing their name to Lumen. Wasn't sure if anyone had heard anything though.

βStarting with Thursday nightβs Seahawks-Cardinals game, the Seattle venue will be known as Lumen Field, the move reflecting CenturyLinkβs rebranding as Lumen Technologies in Septemberβ
Personal opinion, that sounds kind of lame. But I could be convinced.
Since the Sounders just won their semi-final on the road by upsetting LAFC, Toronto upset Atlanta, and we are a higher seed than Toronto, for the first time ever, Seattle will host the MLS cup at home at Centurylink Field. please prepare for MAJOR traffic around the area around that time(before 12pm since that's when the game starts.) This will probably have as many people as a regular home game for the Seahawks or EVEN MORE. If you are planning to buy tickets to the game, if you are a season ticket holder for the sounders, you can buy tickets NOW. Everyone else must wait until Friday at 10am to buy tickets. Also a question: What would happen if the Seahawks had a home game the day after the MLS cup?
