Are the dog owners too lazy to walk across the street to the dog park? One guys lab broke away and ran toward me and my pup (on a leash). The dog was not aggressive, and just wanted to check things out, ignoring his owners pleas to stop.
The owner (to his credit) didn't get snarky when I reminded him that Nashville has a leash law. Other people see this, think it is ok to unleash their dogs and all of a sudden the pit bulls are running. Too many elderly and families in the park to trust your dog to play nice. Any other thoughts on this? Thanks
Are there any cool trails you guys know of near the centennial park area? Im talking like could be a # km away. Maybe even like 20. I only know of some inside centennial creek.
Now that we’re allowed to get outside I’m keen to get back into birdwatching. I want to see how many species I can get within my 5km radius.
I hear that there are Powerful Owls roosting in Centennial Park - does anyone have a tip off as to where exactly?
I know in previous years they were near the cafe on Banksia Way.
