A list of puns related to "Cecil Cooper"
This movie was shockingly good. It's set during Pontiac's Rebellion. Before the French & Indian War most Native American nations were allied to the French. After the French were defeated those nations allied together under Chief Pontiac and fought against British North America (that being Britain and the colonists in North America who thought of themselves as British but were referred to in Britain as "the Americans" and who would later in that same generation go to war against the British government) The movie had a very high budget at the time, and it has a few familiar faces from the golden age of Hollywood, not just Cooper and Goddard, who are both absolutely great in it, but also Howard Da Silva and Cecil Kellaway, not to mention a cameo by C. Aubrey Smith as a judge, all of whom are absolutely fantastic. The film is a great example of early Pittsburgh history and West Pennsylvania history more broadly, and the use that Cecil B. DeMille makes of scenery is awesome (and was ground-breaking at the time the movie came out.) The movie is also one of the few "Easterns" that were made during that time (movies that are essentially Westerns but which take place in the East) As with Spencer Tracy's "Northwest Passage" the movie also is one of only a few movies set before Americans could imagine themselves as not being British. I highly recommend the movie for some rainy day fun.

This is your last warning. Stop meddling in my affairs, or I will be forced to act.
The note reminded Noah of a debt notice.
βDid it happen again?β
Alexaβs voice was soft, wracked with buzzing static. Noah held onto her, and tried to steel himself, his gaze glued to the inside of his locker. βNo.β He lied, choking on the word. Alexa wasnβt stupid, she could read him like a book. Even through the phone. Noah paused. He was still gripping the door of his locker, fingers digging into smooth metal, his other hand pressing the phone to his ear. It almost felt like giving in this time, after being in denial for weeks. Noah let out a heavy breath, resisting the urge to slam the locker shut. Eastview High went on as normal behind him, and yet he felt like his life was slowly crumbling. Like there was a sniper trained on the back of his head, a strangerβs finger on the trigger awaiting an order. Heβd been waiting for them to shoot for weeks now.
βOkay, yes.β He whispered, βIt happened again.β
It was the third time he had read the note, and his stomach was ready to catapult from his throat.
βWhat does it say?β Something in Alexaβs voice had changed. Darkening. βNoah,β she let out a sigh, and he could hear her trying to keep it together, for his sake. βYou need to tell someone.β
Grabbing the note and screwing it up in his fist, Noah bit back a frustrated cry. βTell who?β He sputtered out a harsh laugh. Grabbing his workbooks, he shoved them in his bag and slammed his locker shut. Kids flew past him in a colourful whirlwind. It felt like every eye was on him, each one burning holes into his skull. He turned and leaned against cool steel, letting his eyes flutter shut. βAlexa, he controls the whole goddamn town. The sheriff department and school principal, probably your mom too.β
Alexa hummed. βProbably.β she murmured. βWell, why donβt we leave?β
His eyes snapped open.
Admittedly, he had considered it. The idea of leaving town would solve so many problems. They would be free. Except they were barely sixteen, and he was pretty sure they would be followed.
Especially knowing Tateβs secrets.. Exposing Mayor Tateβs project, the one Noah was fairly sure he had killed to get a hold of. Charlotte and Christopher Moroi, Lucas Moroiβs parents, as well as the head researchers at Eastview University had been working on a mysterious project (Nicknamed Project Sleeper). Documents that Noah had uncovered revealed old emails where the mayor had threatened the

I'm trying to build a list of the most important financial and political elite families of the world so it's easier to know who exactly we're fighting against. (Some of these families might no longer be important but are included due to their historical significance.)
I need help filling in the blanks, especially for billionaire class outside of the English-speaking world. If you know of any prominent billionaire families I left out, please let me know.
Iβm going to leave the toxicity aside. The baiting and the troll comments, the jokes and the shitty attitude. I will try to be as unbiased as I can be. Iβll start off with the bad first.
But before we do that, a little introduction is in order. This game has gone through a thousand phases, all quite similar too. Back when we got early EX difficulty in global, it was busted. You could clear it with more than a few teams but itβs clear that it was designed for early Sazh 35 and early Galuf 35. More units started keeping up to speed and it started getting easier. Cosmos hit. It was a bit challenging, characters like Vayne started coming out, it became easy mode. Chaos hit and it was a nightmare. It was incredibly difficult back when it first started in JP, but back when it hit GL, we were ready, we knew what to expect so it went on a lot smoother though it was still challenging especially for those unprepared, later down the line as more great units came out though, it got sorted out.
And then Lufenia hit and it all went to hell again. Players started to say that bursts were going to become required to beat content and that the game was incredibly difficult now. Still, it was shown that that was not the case and then Lufenia hit GL, weβve been able to keep up with it since it launched. With a few hiccups on the way (like the three hellish lufenias), but we managed as community with most of us clearing at least one of those three or even all of them. Iβve always had a ton of fun in this game, Iβve always enjoyed this game. The last couple of months in JP have been weird. We went from curb stomping content to getting absolutely abused by some of these insane orbs to curb stomping content again with characters like Tidus or Yuna and we were all having fun. And then Lufenia+ hitβ¦
And Iβm still having fun... Because Lufenia + is setting in, and we're getting used to it like it happened time and time again...
THE BAD:
Absolutely ridiculous orb conditions at times. One key exemple come to mind. In the last FEODT, there was a mission in one of the gates that required you to do wind weak damage but the bosses were immune to imperil. How are we supposed to deal wind weak damage to the boss if you cannot make them weak to wind? Thereβs only one character that can do that, Bartz, which was on a featured banner. All you needed was his LD, still sucks if you don't like him or don't want to build him though. Personally, I didnβt feel like fully building Bartz at th

With President Eisenhower's two terms soon enough being relegated to the pages in a history textbook and the memories of those who lived through it, its now time for the Republican Party to select its new party nominee and potentially 37th President of the United States.
Naturally, after presidency of a generally well like President by the American public, whoever comes after will have big expectations to live up to, but much like most people running for President these days also seek for their own time in the political spotlight too.
Thomas Dewey: The incumbent 35th Vice President of the United States, Dewey is a liberal Republican from the North and is generally well liked through out the nation...Outside of the deep south at least. Dewey if elected President seeks to continue many of Eisenhower's doctrines and economic plans whilst also continuing to push for further civil rights though after his spout with the SCOTUS and Dixiecrats attempting to filibuster the Brown V Board Act made him realize that he'll have to carefully and pragmatically peel away the layers of Jim Crow. Dewey still pledges to deliver on his promise of stronger US Military Veteran Benefits whilst also promising to admit the island territory of Puerto Rico as a new US state.
Dewey's Vice Presidential Photo
Richard Nixon: Incumbent senator for California since 1950, Nixon has finally announced his campaign for President. Nixon could best be described as a moderately Liberal to Centrist in his views which generally has kept him out most controversies. (Outside of his time in the HUCA and calling others crooks.) Nixon however has taken a more liberal view on economics, being on of the first senators in the American congress to propose a bill to introduce a minimum wage that's established by the Federal Government. The act failed but this is one promise that Nixon will try to implement. The other major promise would be the guarantee of African-American's right to vote after a investigation by the Eisenhower Administration showed that voter intimidation and poll taxes mainly blocked African-Americans the most.

The T.J. McQueen experiment looked to be a bust when the Ravens came into midseason 3-5. His stats werenβt terrible, but he just canβt win games. The McQueen-led Ravens were swept by their division rivals, ending the season 4-12 again.

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.
But Bill kept the Windows
True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"
.
.
.
He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.
You officially hit rock bottom
Before.
Jonathan Tateβs office was round. Dark wood surrounded Noah; dim lights hanging from a low ceiling. Located on the top floor of the Cecil hotel, it was the most luxurious room in the whole town. The mayor had redecorated for sure, since the first time he had broken in. The carpet that had previously been a light blue was now brown.
The room itself felt more closed in. The desk had been moved a few centimetres to the right, and the filing cabinets containing the damning evidence he needed--pushed to the back of the room. When Mia let the two of them in, Noah took two steps inside and let out a breath. His heart was hammering.
βYour dad had a makeover?β He asked the girl over his shoulder. Mia was standing outside on the hallway. She had given them a time limit.
Fifteen minutes. They had fifteen minutes to grab as much as they could, and then make a break for it. According to her, Jonathan Tate was in a meeting downstairs, which was scheduled to finish in an hour. However, there was nothing stopping him from leaving early. Which meant they had to work fast. Alexa was outside in the car on lookout, and Mia guarded the door. They shouldnβt get caught, Noah thought, striding over to the first filing cabinet, quaking hands grabbing and pulling the bottom draw open. They were safe, he kept telling himself. Nothing could go wrong. So why was his stomach trying to projectile its way out of his throat?
The bad feeling heβd had on the car-ride had only gotten worse. Steeling himself, Noah held his breath. He couldnβt screw up now. They were so close. Alexa and Luke had put themselves in danger for him. He couldnβt back out now. Even when that feeling in his gut was eating away at him, triggering fight or flight.
There was a scoff from outside. It was a delayed reply. Though Noah wasnβt surprised. Jonathan Tateβs daughter was only interested in two things. Instagram, and his best friend. βDaddy doesnβt like having the same dΓ©cor for more than a month. He said it makes us look tacky,β Mia replied. βPersonally, I liked the blue carpet. Though he got rid of it pretty quickly a few days ago,β she let out an exaggerated sigh. βOf course I protested, but itβs not like my father cares what I have to say.β
βPretty quickly?β Noah got to work, searching each draw. βWhat do you mean by that?β
Miaβs sigh was loud and exaggerated. βI mean I went to bed and the carpet was blue, and I woke up, and surprise! It was a gross looking brown. Like, this happened over ni
