We've seen a lot of repeated questions, so maybe having one place with a lot of answers help new people since they won't have to wait that long to get their issues solved. If you have any topics worth mentioning, please comment and I'll gladly add to this post. I'm in no way associated with Crypto.com, a mod or anything. I'm just a user wanting to help.

- Can I unstake before the 6 months period?

As u/emigrating explains very well (so I'll just quote him and give credits) "No. With one exception. If you want to upgrade to the next tier, your current stake will be moved up. So say you staked for a Ruby and the value of that stake is now $3000 rather than $400. You could add another thousand dollars worth of CRO and it'll let you upgrade np problem. The 180 lock then restarts however".

- What happens if I have a card (let's say Ruby) and I unstake my money? Do I keep the card?

Yes, but you lose the Spotify/Netflix rebate. About the cashback, shoutout to u/Intensional who gave a masterclass about it in the comments, so I'll quote his answer since I couldn't have worded it better myself: "A Ruby card reverts to 1% cash back, but you keep the $400 ATM limit (it doesn't revert to $200 like Midnight card). Similarly, Jade through Obsidian cards have reduced cash back (1.5%, 1.75% and 2% respectively), but not to 1%. They also keep their higher ATM limits and Airport lounge perks, but all of the other benefits are tied to maintaining your stake. - What if I stake for the card and after a while it drops below that minimum value due to CRO price fluctuations? Do I lose the benefits?

No. The benefits are calculated based on how much you staked at that time. This means that if you stake now and it drops below (let's pretend it's Ruby, so $400 right?) , $400, nothing happens.

- Do I have to pay the card fee if I upgrade or downgrade tier?

Only if you want a new card. You could have lets say Ruby benefits on a Midnight Blue card, or Jade benefits on a Ruby card. The benefits are related to how much you have staked, rather than how your card looks. To upgrade your card without having to pay the fee, just go to "CRO Stake" and stake the required amount for the tier you'd like to have the b

So I (21M) just did an intense solo speed run through 25 countries in Europe in 3 weeks plus two weeks of laid back Italy and France travel using Eurail pass. Tiny backpack with everything in it, the cheapest hostels, nothing fancy. Had a blast and had absolutely zero problems.

Honestly, Eurail is kind of overpriced and you have to pay extra for seat reservations or have to straight up buy some tickets (especially in France and Italy), and I wouldn’t recommend it in most cases because flights in Europe on discount airlines are so cheap. BUT if you qualify for the youth pass like I did (flights cost the same no matter your age) AND you are planning on going to a bunch of places it could potentially be worth it. For example, I took 89 trains total which probably would’ve cost at least $2000-3000+ without eurail, which was ~$560 for me for one month youth. But also had great experiences on 4 dirt cheap flights I took on easyjet, Ryanair, wizz air, they are perfectly fine and will get you where you need to go.

In total, I went to Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, Monaco, San Marino, The Vatican, Austria, Germany, Czechia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, and Malta. Had to get quite a few tests (like 6 total maybe?), had to fill out digital locator forms, never got COVID, never really had any problems.

Random recommendations for travel in age of COVID:

—Get vaccinated, including booster. You won’t get very far without vaccine, you can’t even take train or metro or go into grocery stores in some European countries here.

—get the digital EU covid certificate, not just CDC card if you can. You need proof of vaccination to do anything or even to take trains. I got my EU digital certificate through the Swiss website. Apparently you can convert your American vaccine card to digital passport in France for a fee as well. Edit: I think CDC card is also okay? But it’s definitely nice to have same format where it can be scanned as everyone else.

—Digital locator forms - fill these out online before you go to new countries if you want them. Required for a bunch of countries.

—FFP2 mask - try to get them before you go to Austria, Germany, Italy you need it for train

—Seat reservations for trains - you need it on a bunch of trains in Italy, France, Germany, Denmark. In general if you’re taking an international train you probably need to book

Spesso di questi tempi si parla di energia, di rinnovabili, di nucleare e siccome il tema mi sta molto caro ho pensato di gettare quattro righe per spiegare un po' di cose, ma che alla fine possiamo riassumere in due concetti fondamentali:

1. perché è possibile parlare di Italia 100% rinnovabile (almeno per adesso).
2. quali motivazioni addurre quando si va contro al nuclare.

L'ordine non è casuale, provare il primo punto ci serve per varie analisi del secondo. Cominciamo:

in realtà il 100% rinnovabile non è concettualmente troppo difficile da raggiungere, la cosa principale è riuscire a garantire che il carico notturno sia garantito (sempre, senza se e senza ma), di giorno c'è il slare senza troppi problemi (+ altro che vedremo). Il picco di carico notturno è, ahinoi, abbastanza alto, quasi vicino al massimo, parliamo, in termini di potenza, di 44 GW (44000 MW), per la sera del 21 dicembre (qui del 2020 https://download.terna.it/terna/Report_Previsione_100_2020_12_21_8d8a6467f5bfd29.pdf), che è la notte più lunga essendo il solstizio d'inverno. I see a lot of questions on this sub regarding crypto credit/debit cards and the like. In some countries there are many different options, but here in the UK we are far more limited.

But one of the main options we have is the crypto.com card.

In terms of staking platforms, I first signed up for BlockFi earlier this year, and I was drawn in by the promise of an upcoming BlockFi credit card. I put my name on the waiting list and that was that, I have heard nothing in months.

Tired of waiting for a way to be rewarded with crypto for spending fiat, I started looking elsewhere and came across crypto.com. You would be hard pressed to have missed them as an option given their aggressive marketing strategy, inserting their brand into every major sport, for example, Formula 1. To me, this was actually the most reassuring thing about CDC. It seems highly unlikely that any company would spend hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising abs sponsorship deals if they were planning anything like a rugpull.

So, I went for it. I transferred some gains from ETH into CRO tokens. I bought enough to stake on the “earn” section of the platform while I assessed the options for a card (5000 CRO). That was earning me 6% return in the meantime.

I honed in on two main options. Option 1 was the Ruby Red card. For ruby, you need to lock away £300 worth of CRO (value determined at the point of confirming application). This level card gets you 2% returns on every purchased paid in CRO. It also gets you full Spotify rebate, again paid in CRO. 2% back and free Spotify is a damn site better than my bank are giving me, so this seemed a good option.

Option 2 was the Indigo Blue/Emerald Green card. This requires a locked stake of £3000 CRO, but you get everything the ruby card offers, plus free Netflix, 3% CRO rewards AND free access to fancy airport lounges all over the world. This was very tempting to me, but ultimately, the significant extra staking requirement did not seem worth it for me at this moment.

So a ruby it was. Once my earn staking period ended (netting me an extra 75 CRO btw) I selected the Ruby card and began the process. This was a simple 3 step process and took about 2 minutes.

My application was approved the next day and I was immediately able to use my card virtually for online purchases.

I have been greatly impressed by Crypto.com's execution as a company for the past months. Here are some of my thoughts, it's important to mention I'm based in the EU :

• The marketing campaign and security achievements in various countries make me feel comfortable with them as a platform.
• The fact that Crypto.com bought the naming rights for the L.A Arena for 20 years is leading me to believe the company is here to stay at least for the next two decades.
• I've been watching the number of users in this subreddit grow on a daily basis, plenty of more people sign up or are referred without being here
• The company is growing the number of employees - from 1000 few years ago, to 3000 now and I could see CDC reaching 10000 in the next years.
• The app could do with an update and I am certain it's being worked on as we speak. At first I was confused with it but the more time I spent on it the more used to it I became (which is normal)
• You all know about the many options for rewards, staking and so on, this is something that two other European platforms like Revolut and Etoro don't have. I wish I moved to CDC sooner.
• The cards with cashback, Spotify, Netflix, Airport Lounge and so on are super useful.

Crypto.com keeps making great move after great move, especially when nobody is expecting. Their moves don't leak until they are certain and a done deal. What do you think will be the next gamechanging step they take as a company? Also curious if you think they should be sponsoring YouTubers, similar to the way Robinhood, Webull and other companies have? That seems logical to me.

Tárolási idő meghosszabítva (több lépésben) most talán 9hónap. Anno tavasszal volt az USA/Bayview gyárban a probléma (kb: össze lett szennyezve a JJ AstraZeneca-val) - hogy mennyire nehéz gyártani, arra rámutat hogy talán csak az év végére/mostanában indul újra ott a gyártás.

USA/FDA - JJ booster ('második adag') engedélyezve, legalább 2 hónappal az első után. Az eredmények sem rosszak. És általában ezt követi a világ, pl. az EMA/EU is (pár hét még). Ezzel praktikusan 2 adagos lett. Note: a JJ már a legelején (!) is mondta hogy kb. 10 hét, és mehet ismét a 'vektor a vektorra'. Note2: vagyis a 'Spuntik vektorra a JJ vektor' úgy tűnik nem para, még Merki Béla is így adatta be ;)

Úgy tűnik hosszútávon is is működik (nem csökken nagyon (ha egyáltalán) az ellenanyag, stb.).

Praktikusan ez a 'legkisebb közös többszörös' a világban. Olyan helyeken is elfogadják/engedélyezték, ahol nem a nagy nyugat szeretetükről híresek, pl. Irán-ban a JJ az egyetlen elfogadott/engedélyezett 'nyugati' vakcina - és talán Lengyelország adományozott nekik kb. 1m adagot, stb.

Anno voltak gondok az EU szállítás terén, meg per, stb. Hát a perek szépen lecsendesedtek, az Astra leszállította a hiányzó adagokat, stb. 'Osztogatják' is az EU országok is (pl. Magyarország)

A vérrög terén: az már elég valószínű hogy a 2nd dose NEM okoz vérrögöt (és valószínűleg a 3adik sem). És általában is a vérrög estek egy idő után csökkentek - az EU-ban nem használták már annyira, mikor már volt Pfizer, Angol adatokat nézve látszódik a csökkenés - ismert mellékhatás lett, jobban odafigyelnek. És lehet az oka is megvan: kb.. valószínűleg ha 'érbe' adják be, és nem izomba.

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted to hell from the title alone, but I wanted to have an honest conversation about this topic. I don’t want to compare crypto to the USD because there is one big winner, but I want to compare CDC to a traditional bank like Wells Fargo.

As we know banks can restrict certain purchases and really only holds your money if you are in deep shit with the IRS. Recently I’ve discovered CDC can restrict your account at anytime without warning. I’ve been lurking the sub for quite some time and I always see the FUD post about money being held and always assumed there was a scheme behind it.

That was until it happened to me. Quick background, I’m 22, 9-5 guy newish to crypto been doing It on and off. I have about $3000 staked using CDC earn and another $700ish for the CDC ruby card. About a week and a half ago my account was restricted from preforming any actions with 0 warning. So CDC is not in charge of my crypto portfolio? Fast forward to today I received my daily “thanks for your patience” message from CDC support as they have been as unhelpful as advertised.

This experience is kind of an eye opener, and made me ask the question [title]. What is the communities thoughts on actions that CDC can take compared to regular banks. Personally after my crypto is unlocked I’ll be leaving the CDC platform (this instance combined with general app bugginess). I believe in the crypto but not the app currently

This coin is rank at this time is over 3000, with a mcap of 2.5 million buy all the coins now and if it ends up going to vvs mcap of 200 million that is also 100x your money even 100$ can make a great return. Plus cdc backing the coin there is hope that this will go main stream on the cdc cronos platform and will rival those of celcius.

I got a free Midnight Blue about 6 months ago and decided to invest £300 in CRO to upgrade to Ruby Steel for the improved benefits. I wasn't a CRO fanboy but I figured I would break even in 18 months even if CRO didn't go anywhere.

Since then I've tried to use my CDC Visa card for normal purchases wherever possible.

Today, with the recent increases in value of CRO I have upgraded to Royal Indigo/Jade Green requiring a £3000 stake. I didn't buy any more CRO apart from my original £300 investment and my 6 month staking period hadn't even expired! I now get 3% cashback, 10% interest, and Netflix free.

I have 3000 CRO and 0.5 ETH in my CDC DeFi wallet. I want to use the ETH in the VVS dapp to swap to ATOM so I can farm CRO/ATOM, but it says my CRO balance is 0, despite being linked to the CDC defi?

edit: I sent the CRO via CRO network, and ETH via native ETH network. Do both have to be ERC20 or CRONOS?

edit2: Ok, so it seems if I want to use the CRO, it has to be CRONOS. So I should have sent it to defi as CRONOS instead of native. Also, the ETH couldnt be used on VVS, since CRO and VVS is it's only currency. So I had to swap eth to CRO, which leaves the swapped CRO as ERC20, which takes 1-48hours to migrate back to native CRO, which then needs to transfer to CRONOS.

What a phucking headache. "Simple simple DeFi" my ass. Wait times, hidden fees... Shouldnt have all these FARM options, which you NEED to trade into those tokens ON APP with CRO, instead of depositing the token itself. If I want to farm CRO ETH, I should be able to deposit CRO ETH, Not all CRO then trade some into ETH....

I won't be doing that today!

To a degree, this will depend on people's personal circumstances, however is it really worth upgrading? I feel like I'm missing something.

If you unstake after the 6 months, as I understand it, your card drops back from 3% to 2% and you lose all benefits of indigo/jade/ruby. Earning 13% on staked £3000 (that compounds) in the defi app along with 2% on purchases feels as though it would be more beneficial than Netflix/Spotify reimbursed and 3% on purchases. What am I missing? I also understand that i get a better rate staking stable coins but if I don't have a huge amount of them and need to keep that CRO staked, I'm not sure how great that would be.

J&J (Jannsen) ('Vektoros') (egy adagos)

Múlt héten volt: "USA/FDA - JJ booster ('második adag') engedélyezve, legalább 2 hónappal az első után. Az eredmények sem rosszak. És általában ezt követi a világ, pl. az EMA/EU is (pár hét még)**." -->> Meg is lett, most már az EU-ban is 2 hónapra adható JJ-re JJ.

A CDC/USA a Pfizer/Moderna-t javasolja a JJ helyett.

• Vérrög okán kb. 9 halálozás kapcsolható (7 nő, 2 férfi, 7 fő (26-62 korcsoport) társbetegséges volt)
• Eddig ott kb. 17m JJ vs. 470m Pfizer/Moderna a beadott.
  • Meg kb. 100m adag van most is azonnali felhasználásra Pfizer/Moderna-ból náluk.

OX/AZ (AstraZeneca) - Vaxzevria (AZD1222/ChAdOx1-S) - (Ez az 'Angol') ('Vektoros') + CoviShield (AZ licence, India, SII)

Az Indiában beadott kb. 1.3mrd adagnak kb. 90% a Covishield. Az Indiai SII kb. havonta 250m adagot gyárt, de ennek kb. a 'felezését' tervezik, mert csökken az igény (nem feltétlen a hatáosság, stb okán, hanem kb. hogy az egyes kormányok 'nem tudják beadni' már lassan azt sem amit legyártanak, így csökkentik a rendelt mennyiségeket.

Note: kb. az Indiai igény mostanában havi 252m adag , az Indiában saját felhasználásra gyártott mennyiség kb. 345m adag (minden ott gyártott JJ, Astra, stb).

AstraZeneca - Evusheld (AD 7442) - Ez nem 'vakcina', hanem szuris Monoclonal, a 'hatásosság' kb. vakcinákhoz mérhető

Memo: Ez vakcina helyett 'megelőző Monoclonal olyan esetekben, ahol a meglevő vakcinák lehet nem működnek annyira, pl.: szervátültetettek, komoly immunosak, vérrák, stb.
