A list of puns related to "Cd Tenerife"
After four seasons, Jonas Rodriguez Jr's adventure with CD Tenerife is over. Here is a look back on how it all started and what was achieved during his special four-year reign (2020-2024).
July 1st, 2020. Jonas Rodriguez Jr signs with CD Tenerife.
Jonas Rodriguez Jr started his journey with CD Tenerife with high expectations. After finishing 12th in LaLiga SmartBank and missing out on qualification for the Promotion Playoffs by six points in 2019/20, the Tenerife board wanted the club to gain automatic promotion (!) in Rodriguez Jr's first season in charge. A tough task was ahead for the young and inexperienced manager, son of former Levante and Atlético de Madrid manager Jonas Rodriguez (Sr).

Tenerife needed to find their form at the start of the 2020/21 season, but ramped up the pace in the second half of the season. After a lengthy battle for second place with UD Almería, CD Tenerife clinched promotion with one game to spare, away at CD Mirandés. Mission accomplished for Rodriguez Jr's men. Tenerife returned to LaLiga Santander after an 11-year absence!

The task couldn't be any clearer; relegation from LaLiga Santander had to be avoided. Valentín Vada and Bruno Wilson joined the club on permanent deals, with most of the squad remaining intact compared to 2020/21. Experts expected Tenerife to finish in 15th place, above the likes of Real Valladolid, Deportivo Alavés and UD Almería.

Except for the stadium of course. Are there any statues, plaques or standard meeting-spots for the Tenerife fans?

As I will be spending a week on the beautiful island of Tenerife and I am a massive football fan, I'm very interested in seeing the Canarian derbi between CD Tenerife and UD Las Palmas on the 8th of September. Is there anything special I'd need to know? And most importantly, is it possible to get tickets online from another country, and when is it possible? If I want to buy the tickets at the stadium, will they already be sold out? I assume lots of fans from Tenerife and Gran Canaria will want to see the match.
Thanks for your advice

In the bottom of the league, CB Villdecans got their first win in a split with San Inazio Bilbao, taking the Saturday game 3-2 and catching a 2-4 loss on Sunday.
