A list of puns related to "Cassidy Name"
The amount of people who are losing their shit about it when it's just a simple name change to move away from a nasty situation is sad, so is seeing all the people refusing to use the new name. I don't know how you can argue that it wasn't a good move, maybe it was a bit overkill sure but when you're dealing with a sensitive topic such as what happened it's best to try and distance it as much as possible. A few matches now I've heard people in voice chat bragging about how they won't use the new name like it's some kind of achievement when it's just kinda dumb to not move on Edit: I just want to clarify that I'm arguing that Cassidy is a good name, I really don't care about what the name is. I'm arguing that the act of changing the name was a good act and 100% a step forward in the right direction
I don't have anything against the new name but it would be funny given the controversy. Has anyone heard the new Hollywood voiceline yet?
Historical romance Looking for a book that starts out with a little girl being saved by a soldier from two boys throwing her in a pond I think her name was Cassidy and her sisterβs name was Abigail they found out that same day that their parents were dead and have to move in with there brother, Some years later Abigail runs off and gets pregnant and dies in childbirth and Cassidy goes to return the child to who she thought was the father and the stepmother ends up having her kidnapped and sent to an insane asylum
The crying child uses words in the logbook and changes them and the vengeful spirit uses faint red, it would make sense that the grid with red is the key to the vengeful spiritβs name and finderword with βits meβ basically covering it would be the crying childβs name, also considering the fact that the altered page numbers wouldve been done by the crying child
The delivery day came at last. My wife was going into labor, and cried out a final reminder: "Don't forget, her name is Alyssa Cassidy Shea Smith!"
"I know honey! Just be strong, you got this!"
"Oh! I almost forgot," she said, just before the epidural took over. "We need a boy name, just in case he's a boy."
18 hours later, a boy was born. I'm nothing if not a good listener.
Our bouncing 8 pound, 6 oz child was named according to mom's wishes.
Justin Casey Zaboi Smith
Idk why she's so mad.
First one I Encountered trying to understand what the hell is going on was βHoleβ [H]anzo and C[ole] which is cursed as all hell but I kind of respect it. What really caught my interest thought was how intense these guys got trying to find something better than Hole for a ship name and hereβs a few I found and peoples reaction to it.
CONZO- people thought it sounded cool until someone googled it. It apparently is slang for a creepy stalker that is also attractive so it was a no go.
HASSIDY- people thought it was fine, but βplainβ apparently
YEEHAN- Honestly donβt know why they waited this long to go with this, this is beautiful. Not sure if Mcree ever says YeeHaw in the games but I think thatβs just schematics
CASSIMADA- people thought it was alright, too long to say.
HANOLE- Pronounced like the work Cannoli itβs fun to say, kind of shitposty though
HANIDY- sounds like a innuendo, probably is.
Respectfully gays call them what you want but I want to thank those guys for entertaining me with your creativity!
Iβm not so sure if other people have picked up on this yet but it doesnβt really make sense to me if the crying child is changing words already in the book to communicate with the vengeful spirit whose text is in faint red, but the name that we find using the mismatching page numbers (which the crying child in this case could only do) is not the crying childβs name but the name of the vengeful spirit who communicates in the faint red text. I think it makes sense that the crying childβs name is from the finder-word (where he also may have altered words to its me) and that the vengeful spiritβs name would be the one in the 8-bit foxxy grid.
Missed opportunity if they dont give him a new skin or some new expanded lore other than just 'lmao McCree was just an alias'
It seems like a pretty unique situation. I'm curious if it's happened before in any notable way.
The only thing that immediately comes to mind is Princess Toadstool/Princess Peach and Aeris/Aerith, although the former was too early in gaming for it to really matter for a character people didn't really think about, and the latter was a translation issue most people familiar with the series already had an understanding of 20 years ago.
