Up until today, I've only sampled Monte Albon and Casamigos Mezcals. From what I'm reading, Casamigos isn't a true mezcal, though it's marketed as artisnal. Haven't done a huge amount of research on this bottle. Came with good reviews from our snob shop here in town. Any good/bad experience here?

I get that everyone has a favorite, go-to drink, but I found it odd that she would drink literally nothing else. I’ve also noticed the Casamigos has become super popular within the last year or so, especially amongst women (I work in the restaurant industry so this is a personal observation). Do you think she was paid to talk about the brand on air?
Cheaper version of Casamigos?
While I usually prefer much more traditional tequilas, I will admit that there is a time and a place for something like casamigos (usually with friends who don't prefer tequila unless it is very sweet like in this case). So I figured that if I'm going to be buying something filled with additives I might as well try and get a different bottle for cheaper so I save for something actually good for myself. Does anyone have any recommendations here for similar tequilas that are cheaper than casamigos?

Need help. My dad got a bottle of casamigos as a gift one time and the bottom of the bottle had an agave plant blown into the glass. I can’t find a picture of it anywhere so this is my last resort to get one. Help a brother out
