A list of puns related to "Caprica Six"
I have only 4 episodes left to finish the show. But I still not remember any clear answer of it. They both are in the same fleet now. However Baltar lives with his believers and still sees Caprica Six in his visions. And Caprica Six is pregnant from Saul ( dumpest scenario ever) and doesn't care about Baltar anymore. And looks like her Baltar visions are disappeared.
Currently re-watching the series and got to S4. Throughout, the show highlighted Baltar and Caprica Six as having changed each other, star crossed lovers, more or less, whose angels took each other's image to guide them. At the very least Six was changed by her love of Baltar. Then D'Anna gets involved... which wasn't that bad I guess, but then Six gets involved with Tigh?! What?! Personally I would have preferred to see her relationship with Baltar be developed a bit more... I find the whole Tigh arc to be very odd... Am I the only one? What do you think?
Blond numbered cyborgs that got screwed by the costume department fight!
Round 1: no weapons, no knowledge about the other. Seven walks into a cargo hold on Voyager and spots Caprica. Because reasons, they fight instead of talking. Seven won't call for help.
Round 2: same scenario, but Seven has a phaser rifle and Caprica has her gear from the boarding action during Daybreak.
Bonus 1: Can Caprica resolve the reassimilation crisis from The Raven (Season 4 episode in which Seven manifests Borg shielding and tries to summon the Collective)? She can have access to Voyager's resources, advice in the moment from Virtual Baltar, and can ask Janeway questions while on Voyager, but she has to go after Seven alone.
Bonus 2: Can Seven (as of ST: Picard) convince Caprica Six to stop the attack on the Colonies? Virtual Baltar will not appear.
Was that Caprica Six on Cylon-Occupied Caprica? As in Caprica Six we see in the finale with Baltar? Was she the same Six who was helping Athena experiment with Helo? Was that entire experiment actually to get Baltar to love Six opposed to Helo to love Sharon?
It just seems like throughout the series there is a lot of Helo/Sharon and Baltar/Six overlapping. From Baltar having Number Six's "child" and even seeing her before she's born.. who's actually Sharon's kid.. to Sharon helping Caprica Six realize her love for Baltar and later they save Hera.
Also there seems to be some hostility between the two models. Sharon shoots and kills a copy of Six on Cylon-Occupied Caprica to save Helo, the other Six seems to be a bit surprised and continues to call Sharon "one of them" as in human. In Home pt. 2: Baltar: "Boomer is going to bear... our child?" Six: "An honor for which she is hardly deserving. But oΒne doesn't question god's will. [Sighs]" ..I don't know it's kinda weird which is why I asked.
I've always felt that a lot of, or the majority of, fans, and particularly the writers, felt that because Baltar didn't know that Six was a Cylon with a plan to wipe out humanity, that somehow made him allowing her access to the defense mainframe and him rewriting half of the algorithms in "his" command navigation program more morally ambiguous rather than outright treacherous. Baltar consistently framed himself as a beleaguered victim of the ignorant masses looking for someone to crucify, a point that was echoed by Lee during his joke of a trial.
While I agree that the ruling of not-guilty was fair, mainly because there was little evidence of his culpability and the prosecution didn't do a very good job relative to the defense, Baltar essentially sneaks his Tinder hookup (whose name and profession he doesn't know) into the Pentagon to take a peak at data that's essential for the survival to the human race. This is criminally stupid, and in his own words in the last flashbacks of the series, he admits to Caprica that by granting her access he's committing a crime punishable by death. In many ways, I find this actions comparable, on a genocidal scale, to someone giving a gun to someone who's not licensed to carry one, who then proceeds to go on a killing spree. You may not have killed them yourself, or even wanted them dead, but you knowingly broke the law and made it possible for those people to die.
Perhaps this is obvious to most people, and perhaps those same people think that this is supports the argument that this makes Baltar the "most human" of any character. While that can be argued, even if I don't agree, the show largely frames Baltar as being unfairly condemned by a hypocritical society that's looking for someone to blame, instead of not recognizing their own flaws and hypocrisies, and not being more empathetic and understanding of this poor fool.
While society can often take ripping someone they hate apart too far, especially with social media or cheering in the streets when a murderer/rapist gets life in prison or the death penalty, this ultimately suggests that there is no true right or wrong, and that there can be no just legal system that fairly punishes criminals. Baltar, by his own admission, committed a capital offense, and only insisted he didn't do anything wrong when faced with the consequences of his own actions. And for that, he deserved to be punished.
Wow, that was a great show! I can see why everyone raves about the writing, the dialogue and character development truly is excellent. With that being said I'll delve into some more specifics. Apologies if this post ends up being incredibly long, I feel like I have a lot to say!
Characters:
Admiral Adama - The superglue of the show. I feel like without Adama the whole series would fall apart. After he was shot and Tigh took over, you could see how discordant everything was. While at times I was frustrated with what Adama did (e.g. his refusal to allow due process or follow the president's commands), he always had the future of humanity in mind.
XO Tigh - Saul is a brilliantly written character in the way that he has numerous flaws, his biggest being his alcoholism. I didn't like how they made him one of the F5, but more on that later. His comedic relief through his many quips (frakkin' toasters!) added life to the series.
Lee Adama - Another well-written character who, like his dad, wants what's best for humanity. I admired Lee's dedication to doing what's right and upholding the law. His speech during Baltar's trial was probably the greatest speech I've ever seen in a TV show. Absolutely amazing writing! In terms of Lee's relationships, I think he was a piece of shit to poor Dee, who loved him so much she was willing to marry him even though she knew he loved Kara more.
Kara Thrace/Angel (?) Kara - Kara was another character who I admired for her resolve and bending the rules, but also I was frustrated how she played Sam and Lee and was a total bitch in season 3 for no good reason. I liked her ambiguous ending, although personally I don't think it's that ambiguous as she said her role was done then she just vanished. It was clear that Kara was actually dead on the other Earth and this one was sent by "god" or whatever force.
President Laura Roslin - Great character development. You can see how at first she's not fit to lead having the mantle thrust upon her, but through many catastrophes she becomes a competent leader. I found her icy attitude in later seasons to be unnecessary. I think she became too used to the power of the presidency.
VP Tom Zarek - A really weird character arc. From terrorist in prison to quorum member to VP to executed for starting a coup. Honestly I think that Zarek was right that the gov't was an Adama-Roslin cabal (especially considering their personal relationship), but he didn't need to start an uprisi
Do your worst!
At the end of season 2, a Six blows up Cloud 9 and leaves a radioactive trace that leads to the Cylons occupying New Caprica.
Adama himself says he knows the nuke was stolen from Baltar's lab. A few questions:
Since Baltar supposedly needed the nuke for his Cylon detector, wouldn't the Admiral be suspicious if Baltar didn't report it missing/the test results stopped?
Why does Baltar need a fully working nuke for the Cylon detector? Surely the others must know something is up if he didn't disassemble it for parts?
Why the hell wasn't anyone keeping tabs on a live nuclear warhead being given to a civilian? Surely that thing should be checked on daily.
Whenever a Cylon basestar has nukes, the radiological alarm goes off. Why didn't it go off when a nuke was transported to Cloud 9?
I just don't see how the other characters would be dumb enough to not put 2 and 2 together, especially after Roslin tells Adama she saw him with a Six on Caprica the day the nukes fell. Why on earth wasn't he thrown out the airlock immediately? If only for allowing a nuke to get into the hands of the Cylons? Why shrug their shoulders and go "oh well, Baltar lost the nuke and thousands died, funny old world"?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
