A list of puns related to "Calgaryโedmonton Corridor"
Edit: this would be on dedicated passenger rails.
Reference^population ^density
The Calgary-Edmonton Corridor is a tremendously prosperous and populous region in Canada, serving as the GDP per capita and lifestyle quality that the rest of the nation seeks to adopt. It is necessary to maintain that level of development.
Smart city measures discussed in the Great Lakes Megalopolis will be applied to the corridor.
The QE2 Highway will undergo examination for grade separation and merging, as well as general expansion to accomodate the greater overland shipping provided by the MRIC initiatives.
Calgary and Edmonton International are to undergo modernization and automation programs, similar to those put forwards during the Atlantic Canada Revitalization program.
Costs are projected to be $15bn over 4 years.

My boyfriend has recently been given the opportunity to move to Alberta for work and we can choose to live in either Calgary or Edmonton.
We are both born and raised in Toronto and we really appreciate a great nightlife. We love going to bars and clubs and dancing/meeting new people. We also love sports and appreciate being outdoors. Both of us would prefer a milder climate but weโre used to the harsh Toronto winters. We definitely want to be in a young/lively environment.
Weโve heard so many opposing views regarding which city is better for young adults, so Iโm hoping for some recommendations based on what Iโve listed as our priorities?
Thanks in advance :)
My husband and I have been talking about relocating provinces for several years and are looking for insights on where to go. Alberta seems overall good based on my research and the lifestyle were seeking but curious about whether Calgary or Edmonton is better.
I am in social services (I work for Ontario Works - welfare) and would be looking for a similar position in either municipal, provincial or federal government related to human services.
My husband is a CNC machinist and is a bit more flexible/ not as picky about the workplace as his field has never been difficult to find a job.
We don't have kids or anything and are just looking for a change and a different quality of life. We're open to many different options.
Would appreciate any insight ๐
Before Christmas, I posted here and on an Aussie sub-reddit trying to locate vegemite in Calgary. Happy to announce, I was successful. I found the source completely randomly on my own, so, I wanted to get it on the public record. In finding the coveted yeast spread, I also found out about a local collective of specialty food companies that deliver right to your door! https://www.uprootfoodstore.ca/ You can get made in Alberta products from a range of local companies - one of which is South Island Pies, who happen to import vegemite and other Down Under Goodies! https://uprootpantry.ca/collections/down-under-goodies?page=2 I now have a freezer full of pies and dumplings, and a jar of vegemite in the cupboard. Life is good!
I've been following these two cities' respective subreddits, and I've noticed much more crime-related posts in the Edmonton subreddit especially recently. Is there really any difference in transit and petty crimes nowadays between them?
I have been noticing a lot of Calgary content on CTV News Edmonton the last few weeks and assumed it was just a temporary thing because of Covid or holidays but now Iโm starting to wonder, is this permanent?
If it is permanent what do you recommend for local Edmonton TV News at supper hour or evening?
Itโs not that Iโm not interested in some of the more significant Calgary news, but this used to be my go to for local Edmonton content and itโs sorely lacking. Even the man on the street fluff pieces are in Calgary.
Edit: Thank you my lovely Edmontonians for sharing all the tips, tricks and suggestions. I am overwhelmed by the feedback I have received. After considering your views we have decided not to drive to Calgary. Thank you for helping me out. You all deserve a shoutout!
Hope you all stay safe and have a lovely Christmas and New Year.
Hi! My partner and I are planning to drive from Edmonton to Calgary early Saturday morning. This will be our first time driving out from Edmonton. With the current temperature and snow can anyone suggest how is it driving now? How are the roads? Any suggestions for driving on 25th Dec morning.
Hi everyone! Iโm currently a college student living in Montana and have been looking at the possibility of getting my graduates degree in economics at U of A or U of C. Though I know the differences between the programs at each university, I know very little about each area!
Other then attending school, I hope to use my off time recreating outside by skiing, snowboarding, hiking or biking, so I would love to be in proximity to areas where this is possible. I also have a dog, so I would love to be in an area with an abundance of parks, and walking trails near by to exercise her. I am also a huge fan of the arts and would love to be located in an area with a lot of culture.
Some other factors that would impact my decision is the safety and the affordability in each area.
Based off of everything above do you think I would be happier in one place over the other? Thank you all so much for the help, I really appreciate it:)
Hello, I am scheduled to take a bus from Edmonton to Calgary for an appointment for Thursday (leaving tomorrow morning), and I am a bit freaked out with how the roads are within Edmonton.
For those who drove from YEG to YYC today, how did you find the roads?
