A list of puns related to "C.g. Conn"
I was looking to treat myself to one for Xmas this year. Just looking for general thoughts on it vs some other options around the same price point.
Hello all! I have been searching for a lyre for a while, but can't find one that fits my bass trombone. Normal trombone lyres don't work because the mouthpiece receiver is too wide. Any help finding one is appreciated.
Here is a link to the trombone for reference: https://www.conn-selmer.com/en-us/instruments/band-instruments/trombones/62hi
The last time a musician tooled around with it would have been c. 2005.

French Horn's life:
This horn perfectly plays. However, it has some dents on the body of the horn. I am offering free shipping to any potential buyer.
Can someone tell me what this mute is? I'm thinking it's a practice mute but it's like a straight pixie mute instead and it has quite a bit of backwards air pressure.
Hey fellow trumpeters :) About a year ago, my uncle passed on a trumpet which came from my late step-grandfather. It's a C.G. Conn trumpet from 1924 and the serial number is 208645. I can't figure out which model it is. Was hoping any expert on old Conn trumpets could help me out on finding out. Thanks!

Just picked up an old Conn C Melody sax for $50 at a flea market, and everything is in decent condition (microtuner in good shape, no dents, all keys moving) but it really needs some work. (lots of stuck screws & rods, full repad, ) I'd love to overhaul it myself, but I'd hate to do more damage and end up giving it to a professional tech to fix my mistakes. Are there any experienced techs here that could give some advice?
I found a vintage overhauled C G Conn Eb for a really low price, now my question is, do these clarinets usually sound good? Is it worth purchasing?

I bought this Conn 16M three months ago and took it to my tech to check it out and he said it had several small leaks and it wouldn't be worth the cost to repad it. So I've been playing it as is while waiting for a restored 10M to arrive. The 16M will play highest notes to lowest notes with one exception, G (just above the staff). The A above G plays fine but when I close the G key it squeaks and wants to go another octave or somewhere else. I've tried two different mouthpieces and several reeds with the same results. With a good deal of embouchure gymnastics I can get this G to play but that shouldn't be necessary when all the notes above and below the G play fine. It appears that the upper octave key is closing correctly and the lower octave key is opening correctly so AFAIK the only remaining suspect is the left pinkie G key. Could a leak there cause this problem without affecting other notes? Or could a leak somewhere else be causing it? Any thoughts?
Unfortunately, I was in the 34% that didn't.
The Eb had to leave, because the bard didnβt allow minors. Thatβs okβ¦ the C and G split a fifth between themselves.

I've been taking a lot of shit for saying Caruso grades out as a 1st team All-Defensive guard, but his minutes and impact seem to point in that direction.
Lakers fans continue taking L's
Idk if this is common knowledge but I just realized it and it kinda blew my mind a bit
