[Event] Wedding between Malora Costayne and Bors Bulwer

Third Month, 90AD

Wedding

The wedding takes place in the sept at Blackcrown, near the middle of the afternoon. The bride wears a white gown and an orange cloak emblazoned with the white cups on black, and the black roses on gold of House Costayne, and she is led to the top of the sept by her father, Lord Colin Costayne. Ser Bors Bulwer and the septon are waiting for her, and when her father leads Malora to him, Lord Colin removes the maiden's cloak from her shoulders, while Bors replaces it with the bride's cloak in the colors of House Bulwer. The couple exchange their vows, ending with, "With this kiss I pledge my love," before kissing to mark the end of the ceremony, and the beginning of the wedding feat to be held in the Great Hall.

Feast

Blackcrown being a relatively small castle, the Great Hall was crowded with so many guests, but there was enough room for the high and low tables to be placed. The feast was made up of food caught on the Bulwers' land as well as some dishes brought down from Oldtown, which allowed for the inclusion of some more exotic dishes not normally available in the Reach. The food and wine both flowed free, making for a very festive atmosphere around the feast.

Tommen was born to Lord Jon Bulwer and his Lady wife Lynesse Crane nΓ©e Bulwer, their first born child and the heir to Blackcrown.

As a child, Tommen was often showed more affection that his younger siblings, with the only one being shown similar attention being his younger brother Elyas, only due to his position as a spare for the aging Lord Bulwer. Still Tommen never relished the attention his father gave, preferring to spend his days with Elyas and the other boys in Blackcrown, becoming self-admitted devils to their parents and the servants, stealing from the kitchens, and flinging mud at his sisters from atop the battlements.

Though eventually, Tommen would grow out of his more troublesome tendencies in favor of the sword and shield. The Master-at-Arms of Blackcrown would often drill the young Bulwer from sun up to midday at the request of his father, instilling a fierce discipline in the young boy along with a newfound respect for all things martial. This respect would eventually culminate in Tommen asking the Maester to educate him in the ways of Warfare, something that delighted the man as he had four links of Black Iron on his Maester chain, signifying his immense knowledge of war.

Pleased with his heirs newfound love of martial pursuits, Lord Jon began to seek a suitable knight for his young son to squire under. Thankfully, the Lord wouldn’t have to search very far as the Company of Colours would pass through Blackcrown, with their Captain Ser Luthor Caswell making a strong enough impression that at three and ten Tommen would be sent to squire with the Company. The heir to would remain there for some years, learning the way of the sword from seasoned fighters, and even slaying his first man on the road at five and ten.

With the Company of Colors Tommen would embark upon many journeys with the crew, either selling their swords to a Lord or ridding a local village of bandits. There would be many a chance for Tommen to sharpen both his tongue and his blad

"The pen is mightier than the sword" was penned by Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839. Since then, has there been a case where an imenent battle was won as a direct result of the written word?

I'm sure peace was kept because of communication but wondering if someone was eloquent or convincing enough to win a battle or war just from writing something.

Biography

Born to a father and a mother of little to no significance, Geron's early years held little importance. Raised in the traditional way that every red blood boy from the reach was. Trained in the ways of the sword and shield (Sword and Defender), and how to ride a horse. So that he may rise as an able-bodied knight as, despite his name, his lineage was so far gone from the mainline of his house that he stood no chance to inherit anything of meaning in Blackcrown. Unless half the men and boys of the house suddenly dropped dead. No, with his father’s passing early on, Geron would be left with nothing but a single ship to his name. A ship gifted to his father after years of leal service to his Lord cousin. It would be all he’d need.

At the helm of The Sea Horns and a band of his closest companions at his side, Geron set sail, leaving Blackcrown behind for fame, glory, and adventure. He’d spend the following years travelling and completing, making a name for himself as a great fighter in the tourney circuit (Duelist). With his fame, along came a greater number of companions. Until, soon enough, they were more than just a band of friends, but a company of warriors from all backgrounds, from all over westeros, and even some essos. Geron’s winnings would inevitably be spent on his new found enterprise. A mercenary company aptly named; The Bull’s Men.

Geron would continue to build fame and wealth with his band of merry men, continuing to travel the world, being hired by lords and ladies across the realm. Though, Geron and his men’s toughest challenge would come in the dornish conquest. The Sea Horns would join the royal navy and in the following years Geron would prove his worth as its captain. (Sailing) His small band and ship made up with its size in skill. Outperforming even some of the most experienced captains the Redwyne’s would have to offer.

Though, his inheritance would not survive the war, along with many o
