A list of puns related to "Brook Kerr"
I'm 47 and wish I looked half as young as her.
I heard multiple narratives about Steve Kerr not being a great coach since he was handed a talented team which anyone can coach and could win chips. I also heard narratives about coach Pop losing his edge now that spurs were actually not winning championships. Scott Brooks should be fired because of Wizards start this season when he has Westbrook and Beal on his team. In your own opinion, what's the real impact of a coach on a winning team, regardless if they have talented or all star players? If you can site examples, much better.
Itβs 1am and I canβt sleep. Skipping thru the channels I land on Up which is a hallmark-ish knock off.
The movie Flower Girl from 2009 is on and the main characters best friend is played by Brook Kerr (Portia). 10+ years ago and I swear it doesnβt look like sheβs aged a day.
I really hope she gets a little more of a storyline on GH. When they were testing out Brando with people I had hoped theyβd maybe get together but that was before Brando got sucked into the mob crap.
Does anyone know where I can find the original True Blood pilot episode with Brook Kerr as Tara instead of Rutina Wesley? The links I've found so far have been from 2008 and are no longer working. I know that the primary difference is Brook instead of Rutina, but from what I've read there are some other subtle differences I would like to see. Thanks!

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello there!
This year, I'm doing a themed bingo square with trans or nonbinary characters in every book. As such, I've spent a lot of time (too much time) compiling books that fit for each square. I had originally intended to post this list after finishing my board with a write-up, but seeing as we are past halfway through the bingo year and I'm on track to finish pretty late, Iβve decided to put this up early so it can hopefully actually be helpful for people still looking to fill their boards.
Books are listed under each category they fit, but I didnβt always check for some of the harder ones (eg. first person, forest setting) if they fit something obvious (eg. published in 2021, cat squasher). Books are sourced from the recommendations thread, the focus thread, the queersff database, readsrainbow, various Goodreads lists, and various threads in other subreddits. Also, disclaimer, I haven't read all these, so categorizations may be inaccurate. Please let me know if you notice that this is the case, or if there are any books I should add or remove!
Without further ado, here's my list of 250+ books that qualify for the trans/NB character square plus at least one other square:
Five Short Stories
Behind the Sun, Above the Moon edited by Brooklyn Ray
Diana Comet and Other Improbable Stories by Sandra McDonald
Everyone on the Moon is Essential Personnel by Julian K Jarboe
Glitter + Ashes: Queer Tales of a World That Wouldnβt Die edited by Dave Ring
Homesick: Stories by Nino Cipri

Love: Beyond Body, Space, and Time edited by Hope Nicholson
Maiden, Mother, and Crone: Fantastical Trans Femmes edited by Gwen Benaway
Meanwhile, Elsewhere edited by Cat Fitzpatrick and Casey Plett
No Man of Woman Born by Ana Mardoll
Portland Diary: Short Stories 2016/2017 by Jamie Berrout

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hello fellow bookworms,
I want to diversify my reading habit and started a literary map challenge with a friend. I printed out a small world map, coloured the countries of which I've already read authors from, yet it's still super white.
I posted a picture of it on my profile. I'd be happy to have a long international list at the end. The only rule is that the author most come from that country. It doesn't necessarily need to depict the live within it. So, fantasy and Sci-fi books are also welcomed!
I do have some books lying around from India, Ireland and Japan. Nevertheless, if you have any additional books you'd like to recommend me - go on!
Edit 02
I tried to add ALL your books - but it became too much at one point. So I tried to collect at least one recommendation for each country. I'm so overwhelmed, happy and excited! Thank you all so much.

I used the top 969 players who have at least 10000 minutes played in their career.
Why 10000 minutes played? Because that's the lower standard set by Basketball-Reference to get on their ABA career leaderboard (15000 MP for NBA). I added George Mikan, because even though he hasn't played enough minutes, he's featured in All-Time ESPN NBARank and Bill Simmons Hall of Fame Pyramid.
I started off with the current 30 teams. To split up the Lakers and Clippers, I gave the Clippers their proposed Inglewood site.
As I looked at the map of player hometowns, I realized that there were:

Vecenie had Slater on his pod before the second Warriors/Suns matchup. Good bit of talk about the Warriors (starts about 45min in, goes for about 15-20min).
Also went over some of the league wide injuries that cropped up (MPJ back surgery and how it impacts the Nuggets' playoff chances and may further delay their window, Brook back surgery and how the Bucks may be better off resting Giannis instead of pushing for top seeding, Bam thumb surgery and how it means less rest for Lowry and a potential play-in appearance).
Spent a chunk of time talking about the 1st Warriors/Suns matchup and how the Suns look so far (great team defense, complete roster that can still win without Book, Booker starting slow but looking a little more polished after his playoff/Olympic appearance, Ayton's emergence in the playoffs and how he shows up for big games, commented on Draymond's "16 game player" phrase, Ayton being well worth a max and how he was honestly more impressive defensively than Bridges, how important it is to have a big who can make defensive plays like Ayton, etc.).
Finished it out talking about all the Timberwolves, who Vecenie says is one of the most fun teams to watch this year (says he enjoys the Warriors the most, cause their style of basketball is "incredibly fucking aesthetically pleasing"). Went on to briefly cover how they see the Western Conference playoff picture shaping up (and Vecenie thinking the TWolves could be a 6th seed, especially now that they have a good coach and good defenders).
Can find links to the full podcast here, Vecenie is also now uploading them to his youtube.

Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) vs the San Francisco(1-0) |
---|
The Eagles surprised a lot of people opening weekend when they made quick work of a rebuilding Falcons team. Jalen Hurts exceeded expectations throwing for 261 yards and 3 TDs including one to Eagles first round pick Devonta Smith. Smith was as advertised hauling in 6 passes and the score. On the other side, the defense struggled early allowing the Falcons to move the ball, but settled down and held the Falcons to just 6 points. The Birds will have a tougher task in their home opener as they welcome the San Francisco 49ers to town. Unlike the Falcons the 49ers have an established coach in Kyle Shannahan and a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Last week the 49ers defeated the Lions, but they definitely gave their fans some clenched buttholes in the 4th quarter as they let the Lions back in the game. If the Eagles want to move to 2-0, Hurts will need to build off of what he did to the Falcons and keep cool in a pocket that will likely see more pressure from a pass rush led by Nick Bosa. The 49ers may employ a spy to limit the damage Hurts can do with his legs. If they do, Hurts proved last week he can hurt you with his arm when the line gives him time, something that is no easy task against the 49ers. If Hurts does get time the 49ers showed they were vulnerable in that area against Detroit where Jared Goff threw for 338 yards and 3 TDs. On the other side of the ball, the 49ers were explosive against Detroit. Deebo Samuel and Jimmy G hooked up for 189 yards in the win.The 49ers have a bunch of weapons on offense, two key ones Samuel and Kittle could create matchup problems for the Eagles. They will need to replicate their performance from last week where they held Calvin Ridley and Kyle Pitts. This will be a good measuring stick for the Eagles to determine if they are a contender this year or if last week was a fluke. Should be a good game regardless. Go Birds! |

Updating my earlier posts since we now have the final coach type in the game. Post-Centric was last seen on Scott Brooks' cards, but now makes a return in a big way with 5 giants to choose from to run it for you from the sidelines - Duncan, Russell, Ewing, Kareem and Yao.
Below is basically a copy and paste of a post from a month ago but updated with the new coaches from NBA '75 Domination. Needless to say... DON'T buy Rick Carlisle, Steve Nash, Doc Rivers, Quin Snyder or Monty Williams unless (in the case of the last 3), you really need the extra 1 or 2 boost and are prepared to pay tens of thousands of MT for that minimal boost. In the case of the very popular Steve Nash... Steph Curry has a diamond version with +5!
At the very bottom I've put a table to assist you in locating any of these new 33 coaches. _____________________________________________________________________________
These are the 8 different coach types and their 6 boosts for excellent fits (great, good, average, poor etc have less of the 6 boosts.)

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.

Right. There's one county game left, the mad swirl of Finals day is having a quick breather, and everyone's staring the winter months in the face. No matter, because I'm about to tell you exactly how safe or how fucked your counties are. Maybe. Fucking Sussex.
This is all based on information I've scraped together from press releases. Some might be inaccurate, out of date, or just plain wrong, so any corrections are welcome. I also ran into a problem where some teams extend contracts without a press release (Hampshire, Lancashire, and Surrey are the biggest culprits here) or don't include contract length or expiry dates in announcements (Sussex and Surrey the biggest bastards for this). Where no date is given I'll assume a 2-3 year contract as that seems to be the average and mark it with a +. Players that are confirmed to be released I will mark with an (r).
Domestic players only.

*Incoming VERY Long Post Warning*
I see plenty of posts with individual's Eastern and Western conference rankings listed. Most are pretty safe in prediction, while others have some pretty wild picks, but almost always without any sort of reasoning other than, "I like them and think they will do good."
I have already posted my Eastern Conference predictions, which you can find here (https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/ps005m/in_depth_20212022_regular_season_predictions/). I again expect some fanbases to come at me, as they always do when I don't praise their teams. Please try to provide reasoning to some extent for anything you disagree with, I am up for any sort of discussion or just the sharing of vastly differing opinions.
**West:**
**1. Los Angeles Lakers**
Yes, the Lakers are old. Yes, certain guys may rest some games or take off certain nights to play lesser than normal.. But they are insanely deep and have a TON of guys who can go off at any point. LeBron James doesn't subscribe to aging like he should. Every year people think he may really start to slow down, but I don't see it yet. I see him maybe resting a few games, but I still see him averaging close to his career stat line of 27-7-7. Dude is just a physical and intellectual freak. Anthony Davis, barring injury issues, we all know how great he is. I won't delve deep into it. Westbrook has proven people wrong it seems like every season since KD left. People call him washed and a negative impact on the court and then he revs up and shows why he is still an all-star caliber player that very positively impacts winning basketball. I don't see that changing this year with the talent and wisdom this team has surrounding him. Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan are both aging centers that rely on athleticism, BUT Dwight (And DeAndre to a lesser extent) seem to be defying time as well. They still are among the better backup centers in the league, and if one starts with AD at the 4, it will be fine since I'm only assuming they are going to be rotated out very regularly. Wes Matthews, Wayne Ellington, Malik Monk, who starts at the SG slot? Who knows. But they are all solid players that fit the 3&D role, Monk a bit loosely, BUT he is the one with the most upside, and I see him really having a step up this year surrounded by elite players. Kendrick Nunn is someone I see being in the
