Am a young professional planning to move to Indianapolis area around May and wondering what people's opinions were of different areas. I am looking at downtown Broad Ripple or around Mass Ave apartments and preferably within walking distance of a grocery store and some solid restaurant options.
Any thoughts or specific apartment recommendations are welcomed, thanks!!

Broad Ripple Lights Up! features a Wonderland Village sponsored by The Bungalow which includes holiday-themed activities for children, visits with Santa Claus, live reindeer, musical entertainment and food trucks. Also enjoy Indianapolis’ only twilight parade, sponsored by David Electric, followed by a holiday light display lighting ceremony.

Not sure how many Hoosiers we have here but if you're out there check the deal
I've been looking around trying to find any parks that have fitness stations and haven't had any luck. Does anyone know of any parks that have stations where I can do dips, chin ups/pull ups, and other bar workouts?
My boyfriend and I are moving in a few weeks and I know it seems like a really picky thing, but we both really dislike carpet. So far it seems like all of the apartments we've seen advertised are wall-to-wall carpeting. Any suggestions? (Also, in the end it's not a complete deal-breaker so any apartment recommendations, carpet or not, would also be appreciated.) Thanks.
