Anyone know if any bars are open in Broad Ripple tonight for the game? Yes I know it is Christmas but I don’t have any plans and could be fun to watch the game somewhere public if available.
Trying to decide between a nearby bar or going to Broad Ripple tonight. Not so much concerned about the cost and don't mind waiting for a taxi or rideshare but if it'll be tough to get one at 1 or 2am, that's probably something I'll want to avoid.
which spots in broad ripple have really quick service for lunch? My breaks from work are less than an hour, sometimes later in the day like 4-5pm so that eliminates places like garden table/monon coffee/ezra’s. Just trying to avoid chains like McDonald’s, Einstein’s etc.
So, I went to Broad Ripple Saturday evening like I’ve done 100 times before. I parked in a paid parking spot along the street on Broad Ripple Avenue as I usually do. Paid for my parking and made sure to pay for enough time so i wouldn’t get a ticket. Again, I’ve done this without issue in the past. I didn’t park in any area that was clearly marked saying that I couldn’t park in that particular spot past a certain time. I went to OPT‘s at 7:30 PM and I came out at 11:30 PM to find my car and my friends car both gone. After speaking with an IMPD officer, we were told our car got probably got towed. Looking up and down Broad Ripple Avenue, it seems that every car that was parked on the street was gone and/or towed. The officer could not provide a valid explanation as to why we were towed. Am I missing something here? I’ve never had an issue parking on the street and have been in Broad Ripple well past 11:30 PM and never had my car towed. Are there some new rules I’m not aware of now? Or, is this just predatory towing practices by the city?
Anybody else hearing these now and then?
I am curious when this opens. What other decent pizza in the area?
I prefer deep dish, I dislike thin crust, and no funny "contemporary art" pizzas.

I run after work a few times a week on the Monon around Broad Ripple and usually notice big groups running on the trail. I’m curious if there’s a running club in or near broad ripple? I would appreciate any info, I’m newish to Indy and still looking to branch out.
I’m looking for somewhere within walking distance of broad ripple ave to post up at the bar, have a few drinks, and just read by myself.
I know you can technically do this at any bar but honestly the vibe at Brothers or Old pros isn’t great for this. Any suggestions?
My son starts Kindergarten next year and I'm looking for a good school for him. I've only lived here for 2 1/2 years and not familiar with which schools are good and which ones are not. My older 2 kids go to Sidener Academy but they do not offer Kindergarten. Any suggestions around the Broad Ripple area would be awesome! Thanks so much!
