So has anyone heard of Fillmore because I've got a reboot idea for the show including putting several other Disney shows in it as a shared universe, inculding The Owl House and Amphibia as well as some other Disney shows which includes Star Vs The Forces of Evil.

Having a "favorite archaeological artefact" is kind of tacky, but were I a tacky man, mine might be the so-called Shigir Idol, a nine foot tall wooden statue discovered in the central Urals in Russia that just keeps getting its date of creation pushed back, now at about twelve thousand years before the present. It is a beautifully evocative piece, I would never say something embodies the sublimity of primitive art, but I must say that it certainly does that. Unfortunately I know basically nothing about it or its broader cultural context--I assume this information is either published in Russian or just generally in the thicket of Mesolithic studies I am not very experienced in getting through.

So imagine my joy when during one of my random Googlings of it I find that the New York Times, the Paper of Record, the Grey Lady herself had published an article on it! Hopefully this will be an informative read! And it was! Because I learned just how bad an article on this topic could be! It was very instructive on the results of what happens when an author who knows nothing about which they are writing and is not so inclined to find out! Let’s get into it!

The trouble starts, as it so often does, with the lede:

“Only decay has kept others from being found” is kind of a clumsy way to express the point that wood usually decays before archaeologists can find it, but fine. The real focus here is that first claim, that it is “by far the earliest known work of ritual art”. What exactly is “ritual art” you might be wondering? Well, keep wondering because he never defines it. Which then makes it difficult to assess whether it is the “earliest”. But let us say that he means art created for the purpose of ritual, but then why is it ritual art but the Venus of Hohle Fels, which was older to the creators of the Shigir Idol than the Shigir Idol is to use, is not? Maybe he is defining it as something that marks out a ritual space, which I can agree the diminutive Venus figures are a bad candidate for, but then what about the paintings at Lascaux? The thing that, if you say “prehistoric art” 90% of people will think of first, that is the first result for “prehistoric art” on Google? Those predate the Shigir Idol

Excuse me but I've got an idea on how I'd reboot Fillmore

STORY STRUCTURE

The story structure for the Fillmore reboot would have parallels but cleverly smartly parody cop shows, most notably cop shows of today like CBS’s Blue Bloods, NBC’s Chicago PD, and ABC’s The Rookie (and not the baseball Disney movie of the same name); however, it would also take inspiration from action films like John Woo’s Hard Boiled, and because of magic being in Fillmore and his friend could also go on exciting adventures outside of school as a Story Arc. Some plots would be ripped from the headlines and it would also tackle as well more serious issues with policing (police brutality, justice reform, etc)

Also in the reboot there would be a massive shootout once or twice per episode inspired by John Woo’s Hard Boiled shootouts. (with both sides using laser blasters and Airsoft as opposed to real guns after all it is a Disney show.) There will also be chase scenes as well (and sometimes a combination of the two)

Also, some seasons would have a 9-13 episode story arc and a central Big Bad in each of those arcs and a TV movie saga based on Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga.

HOW LONG THE SERIES WOULD LAST

It would last around 3 seasons with more should the fans want more with each season being 26 episodes each

DISTRIBUTION

It would be a Disney+ exclusive and only shown in the US and US allied countries. China will have no export.

CROSSOVERS WITH OTHER DISNEY SHOWS

The shows that Fillmore would crossover with would be Wander Over Yonder, Milo Murphy’s Law, Phineas and Ferb, The 7D, Star Vs The Forces of Evil, Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, The Owl House, Big City Greens Lilo & Stitch, Amphibia, Gravity Falls, Teamo Supremo, The Ghost and Molly McGee, Future-Worm and DuckTales (2017) as a shared universe (Think of the MCU). Elements from other Disney properties (Like K.C Undercover’s The Other Side) would be used as well.

THE RATING

The rating would be in the TV-Y7 FV range, with lots of Airsoft/blaster gunfights and instances of brutality of students inflicted by Safety Patrollers, especially by Sasha. Language would be limited to insults (like grop, florp, etc)

THE ART STYLE

I would go for a blend of Amphibia and Ducktales 2017 art and animation style for all characters.
