Got my Brian Azzarello fix just in time for the final haul of July. I have a nostalgic love of most the New 52 era of DC comics, and Wonder Woman was one of my favorites by far. The series collected in itβs entirety for the first time, and itβs beautifully done. On a DC/Marvel buy binge apparently

Thoughts on 100 Bullets by Brian Azzarello?
I have Book One and love it. Is the rest of the series worth checking out? Or is it one of those series that falls apart?

Is it me or Brian azzarello's wonder woman run is a bit hard to understand sometimes?
(Please don't spoil stuff I'm only at mid vol 2,thank you) don't get me wrong the key points are pretty self explanatory but the other things like when hades's ex wife started bleeding and she was saying everything BUT the point of why she's bleeding or when all the Amazons were killed and didn't show everyones reactions and the aftermath of it and straight went to meeting lennox. It's a bit frustrating to me sometimes.

Who wants to talk about Maria Llovet and Brian Azzarello's "Faithless" series?
Discussions that I'm interested in:
- Tell me more about your thoughts on Maria Llovet. I've been thoroughly enjoying the art of this series; It's elegant and smutty and creepy at the same time. Llovet is simply one of my favorite artists working right now. Her book, "Loud" was SO great; I loved getting to see a superb artist use her primary skillset to create the narrative, rather than having to take her cues from a writer.
- What are you taking away from the storyline? At first I thought Azzarello was presenting Louis as a virtuous, or at least sympathetic, character, and I was thrown. Then I learned it takes inspiration from Dante's Divine Comedy, and it made more sense. Now I understand the character as a corruptor, rather than some kind of hipster fairy godmother. Faithless II has been much clearer about that, and I'm very into the comparison between becoming an increasingly famous artist and the descent into the depths of hell.

Differences between Brian Azzarello's Joker books
So.. What is the difference? I'm eager to pick up his Batman: Damned and one of the Joker books. But one is from 08 and the other from 2019. Is it just re-released or is it two different stories? The page number and price is different between the two as well, with the 2008 one having 128 pages and the 2019 one 144.

What is everyone's opinions on Brian Azzarello's Wonder Woman run?
I know a lot of Wonder Woman fans really despise the new 52 run. But I think as a story it's pretty great, I wish they could've kept some elements of that run, specifically the Pantheon of the Gods and their designs. I feel Rucka just threw everything away which I thought was a little disappointing, Is there anything that WW fans liked about that run? Anything you wish they kept?
