A list of puns related to "Brett Reed"
And please spare us the sarcastic
"you mean [insert team] legend, [insert player]?"
comments...
Iβm a drummer and Iβm not being negative just for the sake of it, I just thought Brett was so great for the band - he had a sort of βswingβ in his playing BS doesnβt, even though BS plays accurately. I canβt see how Reed would ever return since BS seems so committed and they to him. But the energy with Brett was on another level. Just wondered if anyone else felt the same.
What ever happened to Brett Reed of Rancid? He was with Rancid for 15 years and played on all those classic records un until Indestructible, shortly after Rancid come back from hiatus he apparently quit and Branden Steineckert come on board.
I have read on another thread that he just wanted a simpler life with his family and works on cars now, but i'm curious - this is one of punks biggest bands, the sound of my teenage years and he just doesn't exist in music, what so ever anymore (as far as i can see).
If you're anything like me, you've probably wondered what the hell happened to Brett Reed? He left Rancid, and fell off the face of the Earth.
Well, I was chatting to a friend of mine who's a tour manager, and said that Brett just got tired of music, lost his drive, and now he's fixing cars and hanging out with his family. Nothing fancy, and there was no big fallout between him and the other guys. He just wanted a simpler life.

10. Boomer Esiason, Super Bowl XXIII (Cincinnati Bengals)
Boomer Esiason was a native of the town of East Islip on Long Island, and he played college football at Maryland, leading them to an ACC title his senior year. The Bengals made him a second round pick in the 1984 draft. Esiason started four games his rookie year behind Ken Anderson and went 3-1. His strong performance left the Bengals confident that he was the man who could replace Anderson, the aging former MVP, and they made Esiason their primary starter in 1985. The Bengals missed the playoffs in each of Esiasonβs first four seasons in the league. However, despite the fact that the Bengals missed the playoffs, Esiason was still named to the 1986 Pro Bowl after throwing for 3959 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Esiasonβs career turned a corner in 1988. The Bengals suddenly became the best team in the league. Rookie running back Ickie Woods rushed for 1000 yards and 15 touchdowns, while wide receiver Eddie Brown caught 1200 yards. For his part, Esiason threw for 3500 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. The Bengals stormed to a 12-4 record and took the top seed in the AFC. For leading the best offense in the NFL that year, Esiason was named the 1988 league MVP. They scored wins over the Seahawks and Jim Kellyβs Bills to reach Super Bowl XXIII, where they faced Joe Montana and the 49ers for a rematch of Super Bowl XVI. Despite being the most electric team in the league that year, the Bengals would not be able to topple the dynasty, although they almost pulled it off. Esiason had the Bengals clinging to a 16-13 lead with 3:10 to go, but Montana executed a 92 yard drive that ended with a 10 yard touchdown pass to John Taylor with 34 seconds left, launching the 49ers to a 20-16 win and leaving the Bengals disappointed yet again.
Esiason would play 4 more seasons with the Bengals following his Super Bowl appearance, but never experienced the same success he had in 1988. He was named to a third Pro Bowl in 1989 after posting stats similar to his MVP season, but the Bengals only finished 8-8. Esiason helped them reach the playoffs one final time in 1990 after a season where he threw for 3000 yards and 24 touchdowns, but also led the league in interceptions with 22. This would be the Bengalsβ last playoff appearance until 2005, and to date is still their final playoff win. Esiasonβs play fell off in the following two seasons. In 1991, he failed to pass for 3000 yards and threw more

3 months back on August 31st, u/thabat wrote that Citadel and other SHFs were potentially hiding their swaps overseas via a Form D exception (https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/pfetpl/update_found_a_document_basically_proving_my_last/) . Oddly enough, this was historically counter to Mayoboyβs public 2013 position on swaps reporting (rules for thee, but not me?). As per Mayomanβs squad back then:
>(Citadel, 2013): We understand that a material volume of swaps market activity is conducted by funds that are organized or incorporated outside of the U.S*., but that have a U.S. nexus.* If the U.S. person definition were not to apply to such offshore funds\

So basically the losing finalist against the final boot. Who wins in each scenario. This last season is a perfectly interesting question on that, and I am sure are some who think all 3. From the cast interviews it might even been Heather, despite everyone thinking she was this huge goat.
Cook Islands- Ozzy vs Sundra vs Becky. Ozzy has Adam, Parvati, Rebecca, Jenny, Nate all locked.
That is 5 votes out of 9. Certain winner, even if it might be close. Becky could make it a close 2nd if she can get Yul, Candice, Penner, Brad, but I would say only Yul is locked. It is also possible she is 3rd behind Sundra, depending if some of those prefer Sundra to her.
Fiji- Yau Man vs Cassandra vs Dreamz. Dreamz probably gets 0 votes. It is between Cassandra and Yau Man. Don't remember enough about this season to know who wins between those two, Cassandra maybe. It is a close vote either way.
China- Courtney vs Amanda vs Denise- Easy win for Courtney.
Gabon- Sugar vs Susie vs Matty. Matty probably wins in a sweep or Bob votes Sugar, which ironically probably gives her 2nd over Susie now.
Samoa- Brett vs Mick vs Russell. Brett wins easily, and he wins easily with Natalie there as well.
Heroes vs Villians- Jerri vs Parvati vs Russell- Jerri wins. Sandra has been adament she would have voted Jerri, and adding in Candice (never voting Parvati), JT, Colby, Amanda (never voting Parvati), Coach as locks. Her worst case is the 6-3-0 win that Sandra got if Rupert, Courtney, Danielle all vote Parvati (Danielle is a lock and Courtney probably does).
Nicaragua- Holly vs Chase vs Sash. Pretty sure Chase wins. He gets Brenda, Fabio (Fabio has confirmed he is a Chase vote in this F3 for sure), Benry, Jane all for sure. Alina voted Chase over Fabio, but probably votes Holly over Chase. Dan hated all 3, I guess votes Chase as the better evil but who knows. Marty votes Sash. Kelly probably votes Sash, but could vote Holly. Naonka probably votes Chase, but could vote Holly. I really don't see a scenario Chase loses until Alina, Dan, Marty, Kelly, Naonka all agreed with each other to vote Holly, but I don't see that as likely.
Redemption Island- Ashley vs Phillip vs Natalie- Ashley wins in a sweep. I am pretty sure Ashley, Grant, Mike, Matt, Andrea, all win over Phillip and Natalie in a unanimous 9 person vote. Only one who doesn't of the Final 8 ironically is Boston Rob.
South Pacific- Ozzy, Albert, Coach- Easy win for Ozzy.
One World- Christina, Sabrina, Chelsea. 0 votes for
... keep reading on reddit β‘Ed Reed entered the NFL at age 24. Sean died at age 24. Itβs insane the comparisons being made here.
After their first 4 seasons:
Ed: 22 INTs, 32 PD, 4 sacks, 4 FF
Sean: 12 INTs, 34 PD, 2 sacks, 9 FF
Ed was the better ball hawk and Sean was the bigger hitter. Also, Ed was 28 yo by then. Who knows what Sean couldβve done from 24-28.
Sean literally died at the age Ed entered the NFL.
So by age 24, Sean had accomplished way more than Ed did at age 24. Thatβs just a fact.
Ed entered the NFL at a later age but he also entered a time where he was probably entering his prime mentally.
Sean was still raw. At Edβs age, Sean was making plays in the NFL and picking off Brett Favre while Ed was playing college teams. Sean never even entered his prime. Just imagine what he could do from ages 24-28 when Sean was in the NFL for his earlier formative r years.
I just had to post this because Iβm tired of people shitting on what Sean accomplished because he didnβt have the chance to have the number of years Ed did
Edit: sorry for r/titlegore I was hammered when I posted this
A few months ago, a dive into Grant Hill's Wikipedia page got me wondering. How many active teammates did he have? Curiosity piqued, I went from there and scanned over all NBA Hall of Famers and compiled their active teammates. And then did it with baseball. The NFL, with their much larger rosters, was a bit frightening, but here it is at last! First, a few ground rules.
A. Each player must have either played this year, or be on the injured reserve. No free agents, so players like Larry Fitzgerald were disqualified from this exercise.
B. Practice Squad DOES count. Tahir Whitehead played with Calvin and he's on a practice squad this year, I counted him. On the flip side, TO only played on the Seahawks practice squad in 2012, but I still counted the Hawks teammates.
C. Finally- I'm anything but perfect! I skimmed over all these rosters over a few hours, and I'm sure I missed a few here or there. Only caught Broncos Brett Kern, Steelers Brian Hoyer and Falcons Dustin Colquitt at the last moment. If you see where I erred, don't be afraid to correct me- I also used the rosters on Wikipedia, because Football Reference is murderously slow, so that might not capture the full season. Anyway, the players!

There are nine first round players left from 2010, the inaugural year of these official /r/nfl power rankings. A lot has changed in the world in the past 12 years, both on and off the field, but this format lives on. 32 team representatives, 32 rankings, 1 list. A quick thank you to the readers, commenters, and rankers for making this happen for all 17 18 weeks of the season. 30/32 reporting live, discuss!
Sup r/GreenBayPackers. Iβve posted in here a few times before and have actually been subbed here since 2016, since yβall are my second favorite team and everything. We also have a Packers fan (so he claims) who posts in our subreddit a lot ( u/RodgersToJordy ) so I guess this is me returning the favor?
Anyways yeah, good luck to yβall (us?) tomorrow. Hopefully this wonβt be the last time we meet this season. My Ravens fan side of me greatly outweighs my Packers side of me though, so Iβm going to ask that you all postpone your NFC North championship parties until Christmas Day against Cleveland. Very politely. Please?
Also if itβs worth noting, my mom is coming with me to the game tomorrow and she has said the Ravens will win. My mom is a smart woman soβ¦
Another side note; I may wear my Brett Favre jersey under my Ed Reed jersey tomorrow. For contingency reasonsβ¦
Go Ravens baby. Go Pack Go!
Where: Lowest to Highest, a ~131mi route from Badwater Basin (-279β below sea level) to Mt. Whitney (14,505β). The lowest point in the Western hemisphere to the highest peak in the contiguous U.S. The route was created by Brett Tucker, who maintains a site with lots of good info here.
When: 10/6/21 β 10/11/21
Distance: The βofficialβ route is about 131 miles, I took an alternate which added about a mile, plus there are 10 bummer miles back down to Whitney Portal after you summit. This is one of those routes where exact distance feels pretty meaningless, since the terrain is so varied. Conditions: I hit a great weather window. I think the high in Death Valley was only 90F on the day I started. I lucked out with cloud cover on many exposed stretches. Nights in the mountains were chilly, and I did camp above 6000β a few times, lows probably around 40F. Whitney wasβ¦extremely cold.

Useful Pre-Trip Information or Overview:
Uggβ¦where to start. So I was born inβ¦
JK. Iβve been into the L2H since reading about it around the same time I got obsessed with the PCT, a few years ago. I love a hike with a big Theme like L2H. When I passed through Lone Pine on the PCT in 2019, my friend u/Joshxotv pointed to the Inyos and recounted tales of his own hike (LOL). I was smitten!!
So itβs been on my list for a while, and I had the time to do it this year. Howeverβ¦I just havenβt been feeling super great lately. I have been having a lonely and existential time. I tried to assemble a troupe of other folks to join me, but it didnβt work out; I tried to join another group, but the timing wasnβt right. It seemed too sad to skip this hike just because I was alone, but I was in a really weird headspace going into it.
Pretty much a direct quote, from me to a friend: βThe worse I feel, the lighter I make my packβ β in other words, I was on a real masochistic tear. Also, obsessing over my gear gave me something βproductiveβ to do besides pity-party.
tl;dr: I felt like shit and wanted to suffer

This is my first topic starter on any Reddit board. I compiled a list of teams I consider to be each side in the NRL's best 17 over that period of time. I'm asking if there should be any changes to any of the teams and who would win a fictional competition? Who would play in a Grand Final ? or even a top 8 if you wanted, I have gone on a merit-based system so Thurston doesn't make the dogs' team over Sherwin etc.
