La Federazione calcistica saudita sta introducendo un campionato femminile!
Secondo le informazioni, la prima stagione inizierà il 22 novembre con 16 squadre. L'istituzione di un campionato separato è parte di un concetto per sostenere il calcio femminile in Arabia Saudita. Le donne che fanno sport erano e sono tuttora disapprovate nel regno.
Le squadre gareggeranno in campionati regionali e in due fasi. Le migliori squadre si qualificheranno per la fase finale.
