A list of puns related to "Brendan Fehr"
I am looking for a particular romantic comedy, but I can only remember a vague detail. It had a actor that looks like Brendan Fehr and Chris Evans. A roommate or friend knocks on the bedroom door and he (the actor in question) comes out in a blue hoodie. The other character is upset because the guy just used his new mattress or something to that effect. I believe the look-alike character I am looking for is helping his friend match with a girl or match with a guy. I cannot remember if the main character was male or female.
If you can think of the movie, that would be even better!
Edit: I really think the actor I am looking for is Brendan Fehr, but I canβt find the movie Iβm describing.
Some quick tech details: We shot on the RED and cut it with Final Cut Pro. We shot in New Mexico for tax incentives and cast out of Albuquerque and LA.
The movie's website is www.roswellfm.com for details, but I'm tryin not to pull a Rampart here. Was asked to do an AMA by the mods, so here goes!
So by all means, AMA!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Just revisited The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and Van Helsing this week and I couldn't stop myself from sharing this. Curiously searched through some past Reddit posts and people still find 2004 Van Helsing a guilty pleasure, a fun watch! Despite having all the corny elements bad CGI at places. Way better than Cruise's Mummy (and possible dark universe). Also, we need more Stephen Sommers as I really enjoy his Mummy series and Van Helsing. Man got a flair for engaging and adventurous storytelling, just check out behind the scenes of his movies, you'll have fun. After all this happening to the world right now, we'd need escapist films more than ever.
EDIT: Now that Brendan Fraser is back for good, never say never for a Mummy sequel we all deserve after hideous dragon emperor threequel. Bring back Rachel Weisz, John Hannah, Oded Fehr, Arnold Vosloo and a possibly young Alex. Continue the story after the Mummy Returns, say after 15-20 years after the film, to justify the main cast's ageing and make way for a new characters. The old characters deserve a proper sendoff as The Mummy series feels incomplete for now.

Hello all, I want to tell you about who is probably one of the most interesting people that pretty much no one remembers, and his magnum opus "CR6," a failed online soap opera.
Biography:
Chris McKinstry, the producer of CR6 and A.I. innovator.
Chris Mckinstry was a problematic, but by all accounts genius early internet software developer and engineer. Today, he is scarcely remembered by only those who were there during his height in infamy, taking to message boards and Google Groups often to lash out against those who criticized him.
Finding records of his existence is difficult, but for an internet user during the 1990's, his online footprint is surprisingly traceable. He has his own Wikipedia page, but almost everything about him that survives today come in the form of archived Google Group conversations ranging from the years of 1999 until 2006.
At the age of 17, he claims that he became. millionaire by inventing an anti-copy protection code that he apparently licensed out for use to multiple high profile companies, although these claims are disputed, if not entirely falsified.
In 1990, at the age of 23, he was in an armed standoff with police in Toronto that lasted over seven and a half hours. He told police that he was contemplating suicide because of issues with his girlfriend, although details remain vague, the police eventually detained him and ushered him to a hospital.
Throughout the 90's, he developed very influential A.I. technology, and those who remember him now are mostly programmers who recall how important his work was. This is an indisputable fact: his work in artificial intelligence is supposedly incredible, at least according to those who understand what they're talking about. He was the head developer of Mindpixel, which to quote from Wikipedia "was a web-based collaborative artificial intelligence project which aimed to create a knowledge

Edit 2: I have already been made aware that Men In Black 3 has told a version of this joke before. If the joke is not new to you, please enjoy any of the single origin puns in the comments

We have been deprived of new Stargate for so long, it felt as though we might never get another series. Now that MGM has been purchased by Amazon, itself a massive investor in streaming with its own service, the likelihood of a new Stargate series being made is high. I had the idea that if they do a new show, they should accept canon as is, and continue the continuity of the past shows, picking up 10-15 years after the end of SG-1/Atlantis/SGU).
Additionally, due to the international popularity of the show and streaming services added to the logic of such a gate program being international, the new teams would reflect an Atlantis like international membership. Naturally, we all want the legends to reappear in cameo roles but I think most would be best just as that, cameos. I would love to see Amanda Tapping brought into as a regular director. In that thought, I have set about casting an entire new team and a few supporting cast to round out the new core of Stargate....(insert name here)
Our new team will have 5 members, one more than the classic SG-1 setup of 4. Additionally there will be a doctor and boss/base commander role. Who would you cast in a new series?
- Colonel Aiden Lee (Australia)= Luke Arnold (Black Sails)
- Sergeant Gabriela Arias (Colombia) = Ana Harlen (Black Sails)
- Captain Pierce Quinn (USA) = Brendan Fehr (Roswell, The Night Shift)
- Sergeant Wei Meng (China)= Remy Hii (Marco Polo,Crazy Rich Asians)
- Lieutenant Burgit Eriksen (Denmark) = Angela Bundalovic (The Rain)
- General John Sheppard (USA)= Joe Flannigan (Stargate Atlantis)
- Dr. Kya King (USA) = Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Flatliners)
I remember this show in the AM on the weekend on Channel 5 (in the UK) when I was a kid. Couldβve been anywhere from the late 90s when the channel debuted to the early 00s, but I remember the show looked older, like it was a re-run, potentially from the early 90s. Iβm fairly certain it was US or Canadian produced. The main actor looked a bit like Brendan Fehr, but it wasnβt him. I donβt recall there being an over-arching plot to the show, but every episode followed the same man in different time periods. One ep thatβs stayed with me was the main character in Salem during the witch trials, helping a local girl or girls. But the following episode he wouldβve been glimpsed at another point in time, helping other people. I donβt remember if he was immortal or a time traveller. Iβm fairly certain he narrated his adventures. Weβre talking live action here, but kind of cheaply made. Kind of like a The Wonder Years level budget (and βlookβ, too). Iβve been trying to remember or Google this show for decades but itβs so obscure nothing comes up for it. Every time I try and Google it I just get Quantum Leap, Forever, Journeyman, New Amsterdam, but itβs none of those, itβs not like that format. This was a family friendly show that wouldβve maybe played right alongside Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman and felt right at home. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
A play on words.
Pilot on me!!
Christopher Walken
Nothing, he was gladiator.
Or would that be too forward thinking?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
