Hi there, Name's Bree. I've been working on my voice at work.
I'm just curious as if anyone else has tried this approach to voice training to any degrees of success.
So, first of all, I read like all the guides...uhm... im stupid. I don't get it I guess, thus, I kind of forged my own approach to feminizing my voice. I work on the phone and I tend to have a good bit of control of feed back or monitoring on my own voice so I can hear myself enough to try and make adjustments or corrections to my tone and speaking patterns that simply just sound more feminine to me. Over the past year or so especially in the last month, a lot more people albeit still few, have begun to recognize me as 'ma'am' on the phone; based solely of the sound of my voice... Which is just like.... OMG its the best feeling in the world to me, next to being addressed properly in public.
Anyways, Asides from my own curiosity on whether or not anyone has had a similar experience or ventured down a similar path or learning curb...and if there's any slight modifications or tricks to this practice that could make it even more effective?

What does Bree mean? Hmm, Bree is a river in France...huh, it's "hill" in Irish? But another page says the name Bree is a girl's name of Irish origin meaning "strength or exalted one. And another says "noble".
Or maybe it's a different spelling of "brie" and her family really likes cheese.

We've just found out we're having a third girl. Already have Abigail and Claire and both admittedly love the name Bree. However, I'm also aware that it sounds identical to the cheese, which I'm concerned is just asking for trouble. OH reckons that bullies will find an excuse regardless of a name.
Not sure if it makes much of a difference, but we live in a small semi-rural town in Ireland, where our kids will all go to the same schools with small classes (>30) and will likely be mostly the same children from age 5 right through, so not just randomly landing in second-level school with a bunch of new kids.
