A list of puns related to "Brazilian Americans"
Am visiting her, will meet the parents. Any ideas for a gift I can bring from America?πΊπΈ

Unless there's some around that I don't know about...
This always confuses me, as logically in one sport we kick balls and in the other people uh, carry a brown pointed ellipsoid? Why are muricans so illogical on naming sports?
This can be applied to French speakers as well and to the Spanish speakers that have missed things about Brazilian culture for not being able to speak Portuguese.
I'm 18M from the US. I'm looking for a friendship and help in learning the above languages. I love drawing, painting, reading, etc. I'm a college student in California. Feel free to message me!
For more context, I mean like authentic Brazilian dishes. Iβm Afro Brazilian but I didnβt grow up eating a lot of food from there. Iβve had a few but nonetheless. I pretty much like almost anything.
- That's how it works. - said Peter. - To get in, you need to have a clean mind, good thoughts, no malicious at all. Thus, I'll test you basing your fate on your answer. Alright?
The four men lined up.
- First, the French. - said Peter. - Answer me: where do women have more curly hair?
The French man thought, and answered:
- I know! It's in Africa.
- Great, your mind is sane, go in. American? Tell me, what do women have between their legs?
The American thought, and thought, and answered:
- I know! It's the knees, they're between the legs.
- Very good. Good answer, go in. Brazilian, what do married women have that is larger than single women?
The Brazilian thought, and thought, and thought, and answered:
- I know! It's the bed! Couples beds are larger than single beds.
- Fantastic, go in.
The English man turned his back and started walking sad to Hell. Saint Peter was surprised with his decision:
- Hey, mister, you won't even try?
- It's no use to ask, I got the previous three all wrong.
Tudo bem!
As title said, I am american, currently visiting my brazilian in-laws and want to help them invest in usa stocks.
Is this possible? Looks like eToro allows a brazilian to buy US stocks so going with that for now but need to research more.
Any tips? I was sent here from /r/brazil who said there should be some English speakers. Eu falo um pouco portuguese mas eu estou aprender mais.

Correct me if I am wrong on anything :)
Take English for example. The language originated in England, so either the flag of England or the United Kingdom should be used, not the flag of the United States or any other English-speaking country, unless perhaps youβre talking about their specific dialect. Same for Spanish and Portuguese.
Did anyone else really enjoy the cultural dive that we got with this show? The fact that it was reality really allowed us a rare glimpse into their culture, language, traditions and they way they interact.
What I noticed is that Brazilians are definitely a traditional society much more then American. The men seem to be macho and seen as the stronger ones/ head of the house/ the provider. However, the women that they showed are definitely more feminist and progressive. What really struck me the most is how much more open both the men and women are with their feelings, more affectionate and warm. Even the men seemed quite comfortable crying. I also thought all of them very much more passionate, open about their sexuality and extremely I afraid to speak their minds, be blunt and authentic. I really enjoyed getting to know that piece. Also I noticed the camaraderie of the men on the show. They were so loving and warm to each other and supportive of one another.
