A list of puns related to "Brave Little Tailor"
HALP!!!! Whatβs the folktale thatβs similar to The Valiant Little Tailor in that thereβs a giant getting tricked by a trickster boy, but in this story, the boy has dirt in his pocket that allows him to stand on two lands at once when challenged by the giant?
Context: my partner is a librarian and artist and regularly brings home childrenβs books with art she thinks is interesting.
On Friday, she brought home a copy of the Brave Little Tailor, with art by Olga and Andre Dugin. I was blown away - it apparently took them six years to complete and each page is done entirely in watercolors in the style of artists like Bosch.
I am linking a panel here , because the art style immediately made me want to develop an OSR setting rooted in its themes. It is lush and baroque and mysterious (and occasionally, frankly, horrifying). Lots of weird shellfish knights and warriors riding armored snails.
More of the art can be found on their site at the link above. Mostly posting because Iβm so excited about the find and hoping others find it as inspiring as I do!
Looking for a clip from a late 80's early 90's vhs tape on fairy tales.
Was able to find one of the three segments
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3d8jpp
And I can remember a third segment about a boy on a flying bed. was very scary to me at the time, and i never watched this part.
What I'm looking for is the brave little tailor section of the tape. I used the title card on the video to find this imbd page.
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?companies=co0020356
#22 on the imbd page shows they created other 3 part fairy tale segments. just can't find the one i was looking for. Every Brave little tailor (could be valiant tailor, or 7 in one blow) search comes up with the Disney version...
any help is greatly appreciated.
I remember watching it a long time ago, and today, Youtube recommended it to me.

Happy New Year's Eve from all of us (just me) here at MYTH! This week on Myths Your Teacher Hated, we'll be finishing up the holiday season with a story that has a nice mix of comedy and weirdness. I thought we could use a little levity for the end of this dumpster fire of a year with a story about making a new beginning. You'll learn that some people will kill for a nice jam, that Spongebob Squarepants is a badass, and that heart disease really is the number one killer. Then, in Gods and Monsters, you'll discover why self-reliant women are basically demons. This is the Grimm fairy tale of The Brave Little Tailor.
This is the Myths Your Teacher Hated podcast, where I tell the stories of cultures around the world in all of their original, bloody, uncensored glory. Modern tellings of these stories have become dry and dusty, but Iβll be trying to breathe new life into them.

Personally I still do not understand why so many FireFox users and other people hate on brave so much.
Like every-time I say I use brave they tell me an ungoogled chrome is better or just use FireFox if you care about privacy. Like, FireFox does not have a built-in ad & tracker blocker with fingerprinting and cosmetic blocking and so on.
With Firefox you got to install all these extensions to get some of a benefit of what Brave users already have by default. PS -- You can install those same extensions with brave, too!
I have seen more avg consumers who probably understand nothing about online privacy switch over to brave from chrome rather than chrome to FireFox. Keep in mind that FireFox was around longer than brave but had less avg consumers switching over to it. The conversion rate is much lower for FireFox rather than Brave.
It's just very annoying to mainly here a FireFox user sh!t on Brave users because there is no google with FireFox but google with Brave.
When it comes to the avg consumer many of them from what I know would rather use Brave over FireFox because of three main things.
>1. Brave has a design similar to chrome (witch they are used too)
>
>2. Has a built-in ad & tracker blocker
>
>3. Still has support for all the other chrome features they liked (example: chrome extensions work with brave. Also works well with watching youtube content and streaming video)
FireFox users need to understand that brave is an excellent choice and will have a better time with getting chrome users away from chrome. Just because Brave users cannot customize every line of code or change everything about the browser does not mean it is horrible or bad for privacy.
I have heard and seen more chrome users switch over to brave and some still to come when they fix sync. I will give you one example. I switched over from chrome to brave in 2018 because of the three main things I talked about earlier. I had also heard of FireFox but never went with it because of design and the feeling of being overwhelmed by the amount of customization and witch one is right or wrong to configure with the browser.
BTW: Just want to know who switched from chrome to brave, also.
The title was to encourage more people to do this but it really isn't just for cost concerned buyers. Its just makes sense. Money is always better spent on getting your clothes fitted then on the clothes themselves. Women, this isn't just for guys. Shop the "mens" section and get suits fitted to you. Women's suits don't have to be female powersuits or whatever the 80s taught us. Thrift stores ofter have sales days too!. Depending on the region it can be between 20-40 dollars per garment to get fitted. Keep in mind a new suit online unfitted can be around $300 for suit and pants, not made to your body. Just last week i got some nice pants for around $15 dollars that looked like they fell off the set of Dragnet. Terrible cut but the waist was perfect. BOOM another 30 bucks and my $45 dollar pants look fancy.
TLDR: Buy cheep, get fitted, look good, feel good.
